We have a nice patch work in place at OT but both guys can still be upgraded. Ford definitely looks slow off the snap and his foot work needs some polish. Guys are flying around him on the outside, but Allen for the first time has a pocket to step up into thanks to Morse and our upgrades at Guard. Protecting Allen still needs to be this teams number 1 priority. Our first 2 game were against teams that are picking in the top 10 in the draft. I’m excited but this team has yet to be tested.

We will need those two missed TD’s to beat the Patriots. I think we should play super aggressive in that game vs the Patriots. Go for 2 point conversions and air it out all game long.

I agree, whenever Gore tried to juke it looked like he was going to fall down. He will serve his purpose here if he is used in short yardage and goal line situations. If he is our starter we are in Trouble.

We all have our bandwagon friends that go through the decades changing teams based on them winning championships. Cubs fans hate the Sox and Sox fans hate the Cubs but they both hate the fans who say they like both teams more. Patriots fans seem like that guy who likes both the Cubs and the Sox.

I agree with you on pretty much everything except Gore, I think we left a ton of rushing yards on the table. When Gore signed here I didn't expect him to be our starter but a goal line, short yardage, grind out the clock for a win type back. I think he looked really slow out there on Sunday, he definitely looks like a 36 year old RB that needs to be in a rotation.

I noticed today that if we had a RB like Melvin Gordon he would’ve probably gone for 22 155 2 rushing Td’s and 5 60 receiving. Would just like to add that Gore looks very slow out there. This obviously is his last year in the NFL and he still is a powerful straight line runner but with the amount of holes we opened against the Giants someone should’ve rushed for 150.

I agree, there had to be some kind of tampering to get a player who was released signed in 1hour. If Brown had no idea he was being released how the hell did the Patriots get on this before anyone else. This just looks really bad.

There is a reason that the rest of the country hates the Patriots. You have hit on pretty much all of them.

This pre season was so strange, it seemed like teams didn't give their starters enough playing time in preseason. The offense looked rusty in week 1 but I expect them to improve as the season progresses.

I really don't see the Giants being successful passing the football vs our secondary. If we can stop Barkley this game should be ours for the taking.

I actually think Antonio Brown being on the Patriots will destroy them from the inside out anyway.

I have a feeling the title on this thread will be changed in a few day to Brown released.

I really don’t enjoy celebrating news like this but AB is just so bad. I’m trying to look up how much guaranteed money the Patriots are on the hook for.

I don't think Darnold is a bad QB but he might be in one of the worst situations in the NFL. After 2 seasons you start to see what you have with your young QB. Darnold will probably be one of those QB's that excels with a change of scenery.

I rewatched the game and Allen looked a lot better than my initial reaction on the GDT. Just like the Bills I will get better each week.

I have no problem keeping Lawson as a rotation guy for the right price. He is very good against the run and is a good tackler but I can't see him averaging more than 5 to 7 sacks a year.

I will say that I have no idea how the Jets kicker made it through preseason. They must've just signed a soccer player with a strong leg and taught him to kick a football.

That's the best one so far, I find it funny that so many people think they have mental powers that can control the outcome of a football game, myself included.

Its funny you bring this up because I started clapping after every play and we came back and won. I started doing it right after my game post of " I think we are still in this " and we came back and won.

They are hoping that the CB doesn't even cover him because he is no threat.

Singletary is really all we have at RB right now. If he goes down I think we are in deep *****. Gore looks so so so so slow out there, we need to bring back Wade or get somebody off a PS.
