Mitch Morse in concussion protocol
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to *******'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know the feeling, I have two boys that are 13 and 8 and they look at you like your super man. My 8 year old always ask me if I can beat John Cena and I just laugh. -

Nothing about hitting your head and blacking out is funny, but when you said you wandered into the back yard and ate a carrot that brought tears to my eyes. It is a scary feeling though. If they have gotten progressively worse where your not sure if you will get back mentally 100% I would definitely think about retiring. -

I remember when I was playing flag football and it was a rainy day and a guy from the other team hit me in the head with his knee after a sweep right. I saw that 250 lb RG just sliding on the slippery grass in slow motion and his knee just nailed me on my left temple. I got up, played 2 more plays and walked to the sideline where I couldn’t remember names of my friends that I have known for years. It took me like 5 days to start feeling normal again, the brain fog lasted 5 days were I just felt so horrible. If Mitch has had 5 of these or more we definitely have to get a plan B, C and D for the center position. -

Has Mitch ever played RT or RG because I think at this point that’s where he needs to be. Centers hike the ball and then they are helmet to helmet right off the snap. I would take a healthy good RT or RG for 3 years over a injured center. I think at this point with all the concussions that he’s had it’s too serious not to overlook the possibility of a position change. -
If I'm Brady I want to keep being paid under the table and also be the highest paid QB in the NFL, which he should be.

Dawkins is one of the only players to at least play at a mid/high level with Castillo as his coach. I am expecting Dawkin to have a break out season this year and be one of the most improved players. Trent Williams is a great player but I think his age/contract/durability are huge hurdles for any team to get a deal done. If I'm Brady I want to keep being paid under the table and also be the highest paid QB in the NFL, which he should be.

Lorax: Healthy Trent Murphy is a game-changer

DE and WR will be our clear targets in FA and the draft next year. -
WR is actually the only position group that I'm really worried about. I don't feel like we have a WR on this roster that you really have to game plan for. I'm hoping someone steps up during TC and pre season but I'm not sure that's going to happen. I will try and stay optimistic about this group but I just see a bunch of mid level number 2's.

I don't know why this doesn't surprise me, you probably tried to take his bathing salts. -
Baldy's Breakdown (Tremaine Edmunds)
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Also teams are playing a lot more nickel and dime formations that put a lot more pressure on MLB's. I am amazed with the season Edmunds had last year. I think in 2 more years he will be known as the best MLB in the NFL. This defense could be really nasty this year, if we can stay healthy I see a defense that will be pushing the Bears for that #1 spot. -
Do you expect better preseason games

Remove the pre season games and let teams just setup practice sessions vs other teams on their own. Add 2 of those games to make it a 18 game schedule but you minus 2 games. The players only really play a large amount of game time in pre season weeks 2 and 3 anyway so it's pretty much the same grind minus pre season games. -
I agree, I've played madden a few times but the game has not changed. Speed is king, Kamara to the flat Thomas deep GG. My buddy actually puts in the speed special teams players and runs 2 Hail Marys with the RB in the flat, he basically breaks the game.

White is definitely a 9 to 15 CB but he will want to be paid like a top 3. I'm pretty sure McD and the Bean are not going to pay 80 to 100 mil. for a CB.

This game revolves around having a top 5 QB. Brady has made so so so so many big time throws to win Super Bowls and playoff games. If both these guys were FA they would both have their choice of teams. Brady without a doubt would win a lot more Super Bowls with his new team then Belicheat. It sickens me to say this but Brady's is just on a different level when is comes to pressure situations, pocket awareness, accuracy, confidence, game situations, never rattled, knowledge and film study and big play making. Without Brady Belicheat is like so many good coaches that couldn't find a top 5 QB.
