  1. No way he would ever come back. It's not like this is the only team that would offer a contract. If he ever even hit free agency which he won't, I'm sure he would not want to be back here. The only way he'd ever come back is if nobody else offered a contract. In that instance why would you want him it would mean he's done
  2. I don't think it was that bad of a deal. Not sure why so many are up in arms. They replaced sammys production just not his "potential" This is a running team who doesn't target the #1 receivers as much as other teams do. Pretty sure the 3 top receivers on the team now can match the same production as before Sammy was traded. As for Darby he was just a casualty of making the rest of the pieces fit. Anyone who has watched Carolina the last few years know they do not depend on a good secondary nor do they invest into it. With that said I expect they have some faith they can win some games this way. Let's be real playoffs was a long shot before and after these trades. Only difference is we have some serious ammo to make moves next year
  3. Most of these I find funny. The bills one I guess just sad and true. I could barely laugh cause it's all almost spot on
  4. Regarding Clay, almost all the good tight ends in the league have large contracts but tons of injuries. Gronk, Kelce, Graham, reed, Eifert, clay is at least in the ballpark with those guys. Would you not take any of them? It's a tough position for health. But those are some of the best in the league with good sized contracts and they're hurt all the time. If you don't think Clay could put up numbers similar to some of those guys for example in the Kansas City offense Clay would have top 10 numbers would be my guess. I don't think his contract is all that bad. He just for whatever reason is not utilized enough in the game plan
  5. I've had the Comcast bill for my parents house for about 5 years and they have always been helpful and had great service. Directv was garbage for me and my family.
  6. My wife and I just bought our first home 5 days ago and moved in. After 5 years and zero new promos or price drops for directv I called and cancelled and went with comcast cable internet and home security for less than my directv bill who I only had tv with. One of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. I have talked with them multiple times over the years and threatened cancellation before but never followed through cause of the outraguous fee. After cancelling and signing with Comcast then they called and offered me $79.99 for the highest package along with 6 months of hbo and of course free Sunday ticket for the year. I told them to stick it. They then proceeded to threaten me or I guess warn me that since I'm cancelling with 6 months left of my contract not only do I owe them cancellation fee for 6 months but they also expect me to pay back any discounted rates I have received for the last 18 months of the contract. Should be an interesting bill coming in the mail. Luckily my nephew in the marines has the streaming package but will miss this season so I can borrow his
  7. I honestly would of liked to see what he could of done with a year on the bench NOT coached by marrone and Hackett who in my opinion are two of the most pathetic "offensive" side of the ball coaches I can remember. Once he got shell shocked he never recovered. I don't see why he can't be a Matt Moore kinda backup in the league though.
  8. I think Tyrod has been using the old rope a dope theory since he began here. The tape is out. He doesn't see the middle of the field. Look for him to switch it up this year and eat the middle of the field alive. 10+ targets a game for clay and the running backs in the middle with an occasional bomb outside to Sammy. That's what I'm hoping for anyways
  9. I think people take these things the wrong way occasionally. I don't think of it as they think the bills are a bad team and can't win. They see it as a weaker roster meaning a key injury or 2 and the season can be a disaster. Sammy isn't the most healthy weapon, tyrod plays through it but gets dinged up multiple times a game, if shady goes down could be huge as well. So a key injury or two they might not be so off. Every team gets injuries. But not many teams have as many holes as we do.
  10. I wouldn't be against signing him. I don't see how he could hurt the team. I'd imagine they'll be able to see where his head and work ethic is at pretty quick. I don't think it hurts to have him in on some practices or getting some snaps in preseason. But I also wouldn't be upset if they didn't bother with him either.
  11. I wouldn't want Byrd back if it was for free.. guy has no heart after getting paid. I'll take Graham back on his last legs any day of the week over Byrd. At least you know grahams a good dude who plays with heart
  12. I'm with basically everyone else on the Boldin train. Def don't want Revis, I don't care if he can play or not anymore he's basically just a mercenary wanting top dollar for half ass effort. I'd rather bring Corey Graham back before Revis. At least he played with heart
  13. I was such a huge fan of him and then when they picked him.. but in situations like this football don't matter. Just sad all the way around. Zero winners in anything like this just tragedy
  14. I'm also on the Tyrod train. At least when it comes to Rivers. I never really understood these kinds of topics. Trade X for an imposible Y. There is zero chance a trade like this would happen. A new coach, gm.. are not going to bank their future on a quarterback on his last legs. You either make it or break it on getting a young guy. Is tyrod that guy? Probably not. But you know what he is? Serviceable. Is Peterman the guy? Jones? Next year? It's all a crap shoot. But there is ZERO chance I want to trade for a quarterback who I watched throw his temper tantrum like a baby in Ralph Wilson stadium when the power went out and he didn't have a play clock hahaha..
  15. Sucks to get cut without hitting the field. But I doubt it's the end already for him.
  16. So worried about the money and I'm over here pounding on the table saying please get an experienced vet who has had success in the film room with this group. I preferred Boldin last year and this year hoping and praying his toughness of playing through injuries could rub off on Watkins a little lol.. but on a serious note. It's not like Maclin is gonna get a long term deal. And I'm sure he doesn't want one in Buffalo. If he signed here it would be a one year prove it kinda deal so he can get one last good contract next year. But stop worrying about the money.. the value of an experienced receiver who has had some success is priceless.
  17. I can't believe this hasn't been closed lol.. did tyrod not tip you on your uber drive or something? Sleep with your wife? I mean seriously this is just getting silly. It's a school night maybe drink some warm milk and get some rest.
  18. I'm guessing you're pretty clueless and trolling everyone. What's so wrong with Peterman who hadn't played yet. Please inform me college scout guru? I thought he was a perfect fit for a short accurate passing scheme. He got small hands or something guru?
  19. This has been beaten to death.. Tyrod is your quarterback. Support him or move on to another team. If Tyrod can't hold his own I'm pretty sure this peterman guy can come in and run the offense with success. But hey it's June. Let's make more threads and cry about the quarterback position
  20. I think Hopkins was a good one. And Joique Bell as well. I remember how many people freaked how good he was in preseason and didn't make the team. D'rick Rogers, the hero of the BBMB that year.. Basis was he was the next randy moss lol.. still can't understand the love he got for doing nothing in the pros.
  21. The success of demise of the entire regime is as usual, can you land an elite quarterback. I'm not a pound on the table kinda guy over quarterback. I believe they can win and make the playoffs with Tyrod, I'm actually very excited with the drafting of Peterman. I think he fits perfect for what I expect this offense to be, short accurate run after the catch kind of thing, with our receivers I think he has a good shot to succeed even as a rookie if tyrod fails. And I think he could make clay and shady a huge part of the passing game. That being said, I'm happy with the new hires. But if this is a Houston Texan kind of thing where it's a constant musical chairs of quarterbacks with a great defense it will only last so long. But I am excited to see what they build here
  22. Darby has talent, I can see maybe an adjustment period as he learns maybe some new techniques. I can't see him losing his job or nothing. He's the #1 corner on this team and I expect him to make the jump to a possible top 15-20 corner in the league. As for the others, I agree with Lawson much better suited as a 4-3 end, and I think we may see Adolphus Washington be a real beast as a rotational guy coming in fresh to spell other guys. While he may not be amazing Washington just has that knack for first step explosion. I like our young guys under this new system. If the pass rush is there this defense can be very good
  23. Manning is god here in Knoxville, maybe he should buy the Titans.. Papa Johns stadium in Nashville.. or the insurance company escapes my mind he's always humming for lol.. GM is beneath him he doesn't need to work like that. He needs to be out in front of the camera
