  1. I 100% agree with you. To me, it's no coincidence that our best passing game came when we had actual investments in WR. That's just common sene. The offense is built on the potential of Palmer, Coleman, and Kincaid. Allen only seems to trust one of those men so far. I just don't know if the Bills would bench Coleman so soon, but I think he's been a disappointment to the team on and off the field. Beane's ego is also riding on this, after his little tirade this summer. To trade for a WR would be to admit he was wrong. Fascinating to see if he'd do it.
  2. 16% drop rate... 49% catch rate...
  3. Worth noting, it's not like Brady and Dorsey were bargain bin OCs. Their resumes were legitimate. Not sure what the answer is, and I can't help but find myself being critical of Beane when I think about it.
  4. I'd be shocked, honestly. Means you bench Palmer or Coleman. If they trade for a WR and bench Coleman, that could signal they've given up on him and I'm not sure they have. WR4 is the only spot I can see.
  5. The world where the Bills are better off without stiff AFC East competition does not exist.
  6. Give how much critical, foundation building time that he has missed, I thought he looked outstanding.
  7. Time to burn another 3rd round pick on an aging rental WR! This passing attack looks exactly like it did pre-Cooper trade, only this year the #4 WR isn't a threat deep.
  8. An Edge is an Edge no matter the defensive alignment, otherwise it's easier than DE/OLB
  9. I've noticed he takes a long while to warm up to new WRs, and he's playing like he doesn't trust anyone who isn't Kincaid or Shakir.
  10. That's fine, we need to stop over reacting to that. Frazier, a long time HC/DC, was a terrible playcaller. Babs is super young, let McD "work with him." McD is a great defensive playcaller.
  11. The amount of people who take McD's pressers literal and not vague coach talk is hilarious. Dude has every reason to play coy with the starter at SS. Make the Panthers study Poyer, Hancock, and Lewis.
  12. I can't name a single opponent injured by Rapp, just our guys lol
  13. Dabs is part of that tree, that's it though. Doesn't mean a ton, Belicheck's tree is pretty awful looking. I will admit, I thought the list of OCs that JA has gotten HC jobs would be higher.
  14. This dates back to Carolina as well. DBs. Absolutely DBs.
  15. The relevancy is a rookie CB having extremely limited experience taking professional snaps and whether or not it's practical to expect him to play any meaningful snaps anytime soon. I hope in 21-ish days he can step right in and platoon with White, but I that would actually be a "lucky turn of events" than anything else. I know there is a big "can't be worse" crowd, but the awkward thing is: it can. An argument can be made that Johnson/Benford have been more inconsistent than White.
  16. Dude hasn't stepped on a field since week 2 of TC, and even then Tre was ahead of him. I doubt we see him for 2-3 weeks, if not more.
  17. I think Coop was pretty done physically, he got hurt here immediately too. Josh takes a while to develop trust in his WRs, sometimes I think that's more the case than OC usage.
  18. He allowed 1 catch on 2 targets. There is nothing that can be said about Tre White that also doesn't apply to Taron Johnson and Benford.
  19. I definitely do not want to he around this board when 8 days of Waddle/Olave/Myers trade rumors result in Gabe Davis being signed off the practice squad lol
  20. They even noted pregame that Brady told the commentators that they needed to essentially use a different playbook with Kincaid out.
  21. Honestly: Edmunds is more durable, but Bernard makes way more clutch and impact plays. Bernard is also way more cerebral of a player.
  22. Agreed, we've also targeted less than stellar WR talent in hopes that Josh/scheme can make them better than their careers have suggested. I like Kincaid as the #1 target, but I still don't know if he's proven to be that guy yet. Palmer/Coleman really offer this offense the same skill set, I think that's the biggest issue. We are also hoping that Coleman/Palmer can handle a higher work load and take a step in their careers. It worked with Bease and Brown, but we've seen it fail with Knox, Davis, and McKenzie. I think we will be spending premium picks on aging talent again this year prior to the trade deadline. Bad contracts have caused us to get too cute in the offseason.
  23. MVP level - 2-4 Elite level - 5-7 Really good - 8+
