I don’t understand the folks who won’t even ponder this, Ed is a great athlete with real speed at 287. I remember reading college reports that he struggles to stay above 285. He’s definitely not a bad DT, he could be a great LE though.

Honestly, I doubt it. EA sports may want to boast about how it’s a realistic football sim, the engine and AI are usually quite broken making a more arcade style game.

Agreed! Hughes and Addison prob stay, add an athletic young DE across to sub and we are in good shape. Heck, he may be on the team already, just playing a different position...

Bills could cut Jefferson, Hyde, Brown, Butler, Star, and Hughes and only have about 18 million. They very likely won’t cut Hyde, Brown, or Hughes. It’ll be a quiet summer unless the Commish works something out and frees up some mula

I don’t want to replace our old, under achieving DL with someone else old, under achieving DL. I highly doubt they clean DL house, but I wouldn’t be upset if they did. Hughes, Addison, Butler, Murphy, Jefferson, Star all gone. Get some youth, size, and athleticism at the position. Shame Harrison Phillips isn’t the same player. Oliver is an athletic freak, Zimmer is a great athlete with heart, AJE hopefully will amount to something.

I still say Josh Norman would be a great #3 Safety.

Oliver has the athleticism to play DE, let Star and Butler clog the middle. Edmunds has the tools to be a great cover LB, just needs experience, he’s only 22. Him playing a Lorenzo Alexander role is a good worst case scenario.

Edmunds as a Base Mike, Nickel rusher/OLB like Zo would work wonders I feel. Ed needs to drop back to 280 and play LE, he’d be amazing.

Don’t cut good players

I hate the fact we can’t cover TEs, I feel that mostly Edmunds fault. Edmunds offers SO MUCH versatility but isn’t progressing much as a cover LB. It’s crazy I’m going to say this, but I wouldn’t hate letting an over priced Milano walk and signing/drafting a ‘Big Nickel’ SS/LB hybrid since we mostly play with 2 LB. IF they re-sign a fair priced Milano, I wonder if we could see him switch to Mike in passing situations, a true SS/LB hybrid is the 2nd LB and Edmunds takes a Lorenzo Alexander type role in the nickel.
