  1. Trying to get Justin Fields help. They've gone run-heavy with Fields in recent weeks, and maybe they're wondering how long he can keep that up.
  2. These franchises are just strange. You're out there with Jared Goff expecting to win. The Panthers are there with Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield firing their Coach. I think the Lions should go full Lions and just hire Brad Childress, or Adam Gase, maybe bring back Jim Caudwell again. Hockenson doesn't move the needle for them at all IMO. He's 50 yards per game.
  3. Yeah, I have no concerns that Josh is suddenly regressing. He was late and threw across his body on the first one. And the second one he said he wanted to spike the ball and just didn't get it there. What I think the Bills need to work on is getting Gabe involved in every game, smoothing out his up and down performances. If he's not catching deep, are there other ways he can contribute, drag routes across the field and sideline out routes? Not sure on the specifics, but it was clear to me as that game went along in the second half that Gabe could have given the offense a spark.
  4. According to Colin Cowherd the Bills "struggled" against the Packers because they were cocky and full of themselves. This is because the the City of Buffalo has never won anything, so we have no self esteem. Yes Colin, that makes sense. Josh Allen is suddenly too-cocky, Sean McDermott is now shooting his mouth off like Rex Ryan, Von Miller is known for his mouth. Media loves Stef Diggs, just as long as he doesn't jaw with Jaire Alexander. This is the same old media. We're happy for little Buffalo, just as long as they don't really win anything. Drop the Bills to 8th on your little Top 10 list Colin, and talk about how running the ball is the Packers new identity. My gosh. Let's see if the Bills over-cockiness rubs off this week and we get ambushed by the Jets.
  5. The Bills ran him out also because they thought 31 was getting old. I think the overarching reason for all our players leaving back then was they were cheap.
  6. Shaw and others, What do you mean credit? What do you want average Bills fans to do? Milano gets "more love" because we see him flash across the screen for interceptions and sacks and tackles for loss. Tremaine is having his best year, and he's productive. Of course, right now, the Bills don't have anyone proven behind him to replace him. So if he doesn't come back it will hurt the defense. Overall, I don't think he's become the force the team envisioned, but at the same time, he's been a starter now for 5-years and nobody has taken his job.
  7. Look at the closing speed there by Poyer. Jaquan isn't able to do that.
  8. Because we've seen this before. The Bills have a game or two lead on the Chiefs at the Halfway point, only to be caught and passed as the Playoffs approach. Also, after this year could be a transition year with Hyde another year older, Poyer at the end of his contract, Edmunds at the end of his contract.
  9. Eddie Jackson of the Bears? Nate Geary floated that idea last night on the Postgame show.
  10. I agree Buff, and said so numerous times throughout the game. Why are we not putting a 3rd linebacker on the field? Romeo Doubs might get behind us 3x? Also, I want more 4-wide, empty set looks for this offense ala 2020. I hated that third down call with 2:42 left. Line up and run a real play.
  11. It felt like the Rams game to me. Bills left points on the field. And again, poor execution around the Red Zone on the Allen interception. I think we've seen in games where Gabe Davis and the go route aren't used, this team misses it's high gear. He's not an underneath WR.
  12. Jeremy White had a horrible take on this during the morning show. He said he doesn’t want Beane to trade for a safety because it’s an “admission that the Bills have a problem”. What kind of sense does that make? Jaquan Johnson is a problem Jeremy. He can’t run. And he’s going to be the reason you give up long touchdowns.
  13. I definitely do not feel like they are being kept in reserve. It’s a big coaching step for this staff to bench Moss. Shakir? Who knows, coming off Baltimore and Pittsburgh I would have thought it was obvious he needs to play more, but this staff is slow to adjust.
  14. Yeah, that locker room video is not inspiring. Still a lot of time left, but surgery probably knocks him out for the regular season.
  15. We’ve seen this from Cole Beasley, John Brown, Emmanuel Sanders, Jamison Crowder, Frank Gore, these guys are all 30+ and they start breaking down. I think Beane will bring in another safety, because losing Jordan Poyer’s closing speed on runs is going to be noticeable.
  16. We’ve gotten all the mileage we can out of Poyer and Hyde, but Jaquan Johnson and Damar Hamlin will give up long passing plays, Miami showed this and Green Bay as well. Jaquan Johnson is not good enough.
  17. It just felt like the Packers kind of quit on this game in the second half and if they got lucky just hammering the run, then ok, but never really went for it. And the Bills kind of just got lulled to sleep too.
  18. Bills just didn’t try to get vertical much in this game, and Gabe, as we saw against Miami, is not an underneath WR.
  19. We had some good battles between the fans that argued he was injury prone and the fans who said you can’t judge a Draft until 3-years later. I think it’s safe to say we’re all still waiting for that Sammy Watkins explosion.
  20. Apparently Hunt can be had for a 4th. https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player/8823/kareem-hunt
  21. I want the Bills to push the gas all the way down on the Packers. This media still doesn’t respect the Bills. Picking them as the upset of the week. I hope McDermott takes this message to his team, that teams are waiting for them to falter like last year after Kansas City. If they get up big this week, I want to see them go for 50+ and try to demoralize the Packers. Sorry it’s them, but this city has suffered for too long to have pity, it’s our time, and absolute destruction is in order.
