  1. No way on Cam Akers. No way, guy blew out his Achilles and has looked bad this year. At least Hunt has stayed healthy and gives the Bills some size. No interest, he's just like Beasley, John Brown, Emmanuel Sanders, Jamison Crowder - guys at the end of the line. I'd rather see the Bills just develop Shakir.
  2. That guy looked like an extra from the movie Blade, geez man.
  3. I just can’t wait to hear the Buffalo roar on Sunday!
  4. I just turned the game on, wow, this crowd is DEAD
  5. It’s tough Stads. The National guys are getting older and have been on the radio for a long time, so their shows all sound the same. Colin, again today, starts with Aaron Rodgers , Russell Westbrook, rinse and repeat. Dan Patrick, same guests, same time slots, and he’s repetitive. So from a WGR 550 perspective, I’ve listened to them since I was a kid. Now, I check in and out of those shows.
  6. Right now the media is talking about all sorts of stuff - DE Josh Allen, Kareem Hunt, Chase Claypool. I think Odell Beckham might be the best move because of the cap, he's a rental, and there is no assets to give. As soon as the report came out that the Steelers view McCaffrey's deal as the starter template for any Claypool trade, my opinion is I'm out on that. Hunt, if he was a late-round pick and you could fit him, then I think he could be good on this team. And DE Josh Allen? What are the Jags going to want for him, and he joins the rotation probably behind Miller and Rousseau. Feels redundant. I'm wondering if the Bills don't try something at Safety to replace Hyde, or if 65.5 Damar Hamlin on PFF is "good enough". I also agree with other posters, a quality offensive lineman could really be used as well.
  7. As soon as he said, up next I have Joe Ostrowski from Bet QL on to talk spreads I turned it off.
  8. Well all stadiums seem to have a "window" now, started by Lucas Oil Stadium maybe. The Tennessee Stadium blows this proposed stadium out of the water, the deck idea with greenery and chairs is outstanding. Engineer the stadium for maximum noise like Seattle.
  9. Tennessee! Now that's an experience-based stadium. I'd travel there to see that. As far as the Bills? I get it, we don't have palm trees and aqua blue water, but a lot of wait for a pretty basic looking stadium, average Jumbotron.
  10. What is a normal “setback” for an ACL? Like a sprained ankle you can re-roll it and the swelling comes back. Is this the same for an ACL? Where there is soreness?
  11. But the counter to this is Kubiak, Shanahan, Norv Turner, Stefanski all come from that running the ball way too much conservative tree. Good for 6-10, 7-9 but always trying to win with Dalvin Cook carrying the ball 25-times and it's never going to work. And the poor fans in Cleveland who just scream for more Nick Chubb, more Kareem Hunt, and it's a path to nowhere. You're competing with Mahomes. This is why Rex was delusional. Thinking you're just going to line up and run over people in 2015, let alone now.
  12. Because people don't do their research. All the media talks about is his time with the Packers. I remember Nate Hackett as the Syracuse Orange OC that followed Doug Marrone here. And he ran an awful offense here, followed Marone again to Jacksonville and ran another boring offense there. They've tried the same thing with Alex Van Pelt, he was around Rodgers and so he gets hype as the next great offensive mind. Eric B in Kansas City must just interview terribly. That's the only thing I can think. You would think that much time with Reid and Mahomes, he would be an offensive mastermind, but he must not be able to get words out well in the interview, or fails on the question of managing the entire team, not just the offense.
  13. If you could steal him for a 5th and Moss then great. I'm not sure why Cleveland would do that.
  14. This sums up Sammy Watkins' time in Buffalo perfectly: "Watkins, who detailed his tough upbringing in Florida for Dunne, said he had friends follow him to Buffalo and he'd go partying "every night,” drinking and smoking. "I would go out and get wasted," he told Dunne. "Wasted wasted." Then he'd go to practice early in the morning."
  15. I agree, I would like to see Justin Fields have a good game, because it has been such a struggle to cobble together a semblance of a passing game for them.
  16. Green Bay looks like they have packed it in this year. If the game is close at all, they just bail out and let the other team win. What has happened to the Chargers? Just skimming through the league they need some speed at WR because Herbert/Lombardi/Staley have begun a bad habit, continually checking down. Tampa Bay, I just think age is finally catching up to that offense. Not just Brady, but Mike Evans has logged 8+ seasons now, Godwin has had serious injuries, Julio's career is over, and they're down to just Fournette at running back and he doesn't get more than a handful of carries, Cameron Brate is at the end as well with numerous concussions, and their offensive line has fallen apart. Giants, I don't believe in them as a serious threat, but give them credit for winning every single 50/50 game this season. I wonder if the Jaguars are happy with Trevor Lawrence? Is he trending towards being an upper-echilon QB?
  17. My refers to inside jargon I had with my brother about Steve Johnson's route running. When he would stutter start against Revis, when a press corner would lunge at the snap and he would take a step back and make the corner go off balance forward, or the time he double moved Sherman in Toronto for the TD, we would say Stevie just gave that guy the Hucklebuck, just juked him, broke his ankles. So it just became, if we were the Offensive Coordinator, we'd run Straight Hucklebuck Offense.
  18. I am interested in Chargers-Seahawks. Only other important swing game is 3-3 Bengals and 3-3 Falcons.
  19. As long as the Bills coaching staff decides to play him. We've got a history of not letting rookies outshine old veterans.
