  1. Super interesting. I loved how Beane described how they go about and get coaches input. That the scouts have a meeting with coaches after they set the board and scouts are just flies on wall in this meeting even if they disagree. And then scouts go back and take a 2nd look at tape and see if they missed something that coaches noticed. Really shows a great system of checks and balances in our organization. That is scout or personnel department miss something then coaches have chance to bring this up.
  2. Honestly I love Knox. He could be the next George Kittle. Unfortunately he got forced into action last year. And he did pretty well considering how raw he was considered. I do however think we needed to sign a stop-gap TE for 1 year to let Knox develop a little more before handing him the reigns. Unfortunately Olsen didnt agree to sign with us and other TE werent willing to accept a 1 year deal
  3. Well know one really knows how well he can punt at this level? Obvisously he did dual duties in college. Every team that at this level has tried him as a big legged kicker and it hasnt worked out. But ive always thought that he should primarily be a punter. His senior year of college he had a pretty good average punt. And he had a 92 yard long... 7th longest in FBS history. Im not sure how often he pinned teams inside 10 yard line and 20 yard line but with his leg its worth a shot. One thing for certain is we arent bringing 3 punters into training camp. There are just not enough reps for that... so not sure why people wanted to add another. I get it. Im frustrated with Borjorquez to and im rooting for Vedvik cause he has some serious potential as a punter with his leg.
  4. He has a monster leg. Not sure whyvhe hasnt hit one over 50 but i didnt watch that team at all. But he hit a 63 yarder at his pro day. And was hitting them from 55 at senior bowl.
  5. Im going Chris Orr LB... we could use one more backup LB. And i think Chris Williamson will be drafted a bit later
  6. Im going out on a limb and saying the selection will be Chris Orr... if not this pick then the next selection
  7. Guessing Bills wanted someone faster that could create more separation. Size is important but our front office learned that it doesnt matter if the receiver is slow. Gabe is a bit faster than AGG. Both are beasts tho
  8. Dude they just traded up into the 3rd for an Hback... one that I wanted to draft in the 6th. Good player but terrible value. He is a late round draft pick.
  9. Please no defense... build the offense a little
  10. Come on Moss! I think he will give us instant production which you dont see out of 3rd rounders very often. After him there is a major drop off in RBs
  11. He will be a reach. I wouldnt be surprised to see someone reach for him as a lot of the recievers are off the board but he is a 4th/5th round guy... and im a fan of his.
  12. Actually prefer guys without bursts. Those fast speedy guys can be amazing. But if one of those guys fell to the 2nd then they can have high bust potential. Typically they are one trick ponies... all they know is blowing by weaker competition. Bigger stronger slowler guys have to use technique to get past guys. Get lower leverage to bull rush and use hands and footwork more. And based off the Tape AJ looks super strong obviously but he looks amazing with his hands. Eventually straight speed and explosiveness catches up with a player. But when a player has technique they are safer selections and have longer careers.
  13. Come on Dobbins!!! Im guessing its Chinn
  14. Ohhhh is thought for sure Rams were gonna go with Dobbins
  15. Would happily have a player like Shaq at 54 overall. Shaq Lawson was a decent player. He just didnt live up to his 1st round draft selection
  16. I have a feeling it Chinn or Diggs butvi want Espenesa or Dobbins
  17. Well i dont think Bills were gonna draft a 5'8 WR. So another potential player will be available to us. Could potentially allow Mims to fall to 54. Im hoping Epenesa falls to us. Or Dobbins. Those are my two favorites
  18. Watch the college focused version on ABC
  19. This doesnt take reaches into consideration. Two teams reach by need and one of those 1stvround talents would fall.
  20. I think they will. With McKinney and Winfield still being on the board i think that will push Dugger and Chinn down. Before yesterday i would have agreed with you but there cant be that many safety needy teams
  21. I have no problem with Dugger as a player. I think he will be a good player and even McDermott will get the most out of him. My issue is secondary is last on my want list. Most of our additions in free agency has been defensive except for Daryl Williams and Diggs. We need to keep building our offense. And if we do go defense then it needs to be an edge rusher
  22. I knoe he isnt thats why i said crap he will be only one left. Dobbins, Taylor, and Swift will gonearly 2nd. And even Akers is a hot name right now that was moved into a 2nd round selection. CEH was one RB that I thought would fall to our selection. And i dont think Moss will be at 86. He too has been moved up in recent mock drafts. He should be but i dont think he will.
  23. I think Beane is going to try and trade up for Gross Matos
  24. Crap. I thought he would be the bills selection. Now i think Moss will be only available RB to us at 54
