  1. I think we all would but he is easily replaceable with Brian Gaine... our front office is stacked. We have 3 guys who can be potential GMs down the road
  2. A guy who lives in a rat and garbage infested city like Baltimore is making fun of people in other cities? Thats a bold strategy Cotton.
  3. Could this fall in our favor with Brian Gaine... Gaine obviously was GM of Texans and came back to Buffalo. A Gaine/Daboll pairing in Cleveland could seem likely.
  4. This guy could be a potential DC for us if Leslie Frazier ever decides to retire or take a new job... i like it.
  5. The annoucers picking that play apart killed me. That was a great throw... right on the money
  6. Hopefully as a Punter and not a kicker
  7. Justin Jefferson!!! Way better than the two listed
  8. I wouldnt really call that a missed tackle by Milano... him and Neal hit him at the sametime which resulted in Watson being able to stay up. If one of them was a split second later he is going down.
  9. Im gonna cheat. Give one free agent and one draft player Free Agent- Yannick Nagakoue DE Jacksonville Draft- Justin Jefferson WR LSU
  10. Well us that is correct... but once you catch the ball you have to down it. For it to be ruled a TB 4 things need to happen 1. Ball lands in endzome on ground 2. Player catches ball and downs it 3. 4 ball goes out of bounds beyond goaline 4. Ball hit goal post None of those things happened so by rule it is impossible for it to be called a TB. Its either a fumble and td or a forward pass and a safety
  11. Sometimes a ref would let that go just to have game end but its incorrect
  12. Well of course... the NFL has to make it look like they are punishing Patriots by taking away draft selections from the taping but are really giving the more.
  13. Not necessarily... on end of plays games players accidentally pitch ball forward to no one in particular a lot and refs still throw the flag in those situations. Hand was going forward. If he had just dropped the ball and it went forward its a TD. But his hand motion was moving forward making it a forward pass instead of a fumble.
  14. This is incorrect. You are thinking of the Jets and Bills kick off. That wouldnt be a touchback today. On kickoffs if the ball lands in the field of play and rolls into endzone its still considered a live ball. Its like an onside kick. However if ball travels the entire way into the air and land into the endzone then its a automatic touchback. In that Bills and Jets play the ball landed in play and rolled into the endzone. Mile Gillislee tracked it down but didnt recover it. Had he... he would have been tackled and gotten a safety but since he let it go the Jets got a TD instead.
  15. But he didnt fumble it forward. There is a difference between that because the RB never had complete control and a RB wouldnt be motioning his hand forward. The returner tossed the ball forward to an official... so hand was moving forward. Would have been treated the same as a forward lateral or a like one of those pitch the ball forward plays that teams do now to prevent fumbles. Thats why at why at one point head ref threw his flag on the ground and i heard him talking to other refs live that said "I have an illegal forward pass" The big difference is that his hand was noving forward intentionally so by rule its a forward lateral and a penalty Only time i see this happen is when they catch the ball but there feet were out of bounds. Other than that they kneel it or just let it go
  16. Please i see players do that all the time and people love them for it when it goes correctly. Only issue was Knox wasnt expecting it and instead of going towards open field he went towards Allen and pitch went over his head. If he had hit Knox... everyone would have loved the play saying how he is so creative and can see things that others cant. In retrospect it was a harmless play that lost 3 to 4 yards of field position.
  17. Should have been caught. Had position... just a missed timed jump. I think Allen just sort of figured if he catches it great, if he gets interfered with great, an incompletion is no big deal. And if its intercepted its not that nich different then a punt. So it made it worth the risk to potentially get PI
  18. No it would have been ruled dead but since infraction occured in endzone it would have been ruled a safety
  19. Not Harry... he drops a ton of balls. Patriots fans despise him. We should have drafted AJ Brown over Cody Ford... with Nsekhe we had a starter at RT. I like Ford... especially for the future but AJ Brown would have filled a much bigger need on this team
  20. Exactly... in Tre situation he went down stayed down. And then got back up and ran backwards instead advancing. By rule that is giving yourself up. Tossing the ball to an offical does not qualify.
  21. By rule that isnt giving yourself up. Giving youself up requires going to ground and not trying to advance football. Say a player catches the ball from QB and immediately doesnt tosses ball to ref thats a fumble. Thats not giving youself up. That why QBs slide a QB just cant stop a play and toss ball to an official. You have to give yourself up by going to the ground
  22. According to rules giving yourself up is kneeling or going to the ground AND not trying to advance ball. He did no such action. Its a fumble...
