  1. But he didnt fumble it forward. There is a difference between that because the RB never had complete control and a RB wouldnt be motioning his hand forward. The returner tossed the ball forward to an official... so hand was moving forward. Would have been treated the same as a forward lateral or a like one of those pitch the ball forward plays that teams do now to prevent fumbles. Thats why at why at one point head ref threw his flag on the ground and i heard him talking to other refs live that said "I have an illegal forward pass" The big difference is that his hand was noving forward intentionally so by rule its a forward lateral and a penalty Only time i see this happen is when they catch the ball but there feet were out of bounds. Other than that they kneel it or just let it go
  2. Please i see players do that all the time and people love them for it when it goes correctly. Only issue was Knox wasnt expecting it and instead of going towards open field he went towards Allen and pitch went over his head. If he had hit Knox... everyone would have loved the play saying how he is so creative and can see things that others cant. In retrospect it was a harmless play that lost 3 to 4 yards of field position.
  3. Should have been caught. Had position... just a missed timed jump. I think Allen just sort of figured if he catches it great, if he gets interfered with great, an incompletion is no big deal. And if its intercepted its not that nich different then a punt. So it made it worth the risk to potentially get PI
  4. No it would have been ruled dead but since infraction occured in endzone it would have been ruled a safety
  5. Not Harry... he drops a ton of balls. Patriots fans despise him. We should have drafted AJ Brown over Cody Ford... with Nsekhe we had a starter at RT. I like Ford... especially for the future but AJ Brown would have filled a much bigger need on this team
  6. Exactly... in Tre situation he went down stayed down. And then got back up and ran backwards instead advancing. By rule that is giving yourself up. Tossing the ball to an offical does not qualify.
  7. By rule that isnt giving yourself up. Giving youself up requires going to ground and not trying to advance football. Say a player catches the ball from QB and immediately doesnt tosses ball to ref thats a fumble. Thats not giving youself up. That why QBs slide a QB just cant stop a play and toss ball to an official. You have to give yourself up by going to the ground
  8. According to rules giving yourself up is kneeling or going to the ground AND not trying to advance ball. He did no such action. Its a fumble...
  9. In that instance tho the TO could have came from sideline before Allen signaled TO... thats what usually happens in those situations
  10. Its actually right most of the time... you know how often ive seen clock hit zero on TV. Defense starts signaling for a flag and they never blow whistle
  11. It definitely wasnt... it wasnt even a forcable block either
  12. Should be illegal hands to the face by Hopkims actually
  13. First playbof game i want a 75 yard flea flicker for a John Brown TD
  14. I wouldnt say key. He played special teams but even on special teams he would go unnoticed. He made some plays on special teams during preseason but since then he has been mediocre there. The only game we beat a playoff team this year Duke was active and caught game winning TD.
  15. Hopkins... great player but dude is a flat idiot. Be careful what you wish for. I hope McDermott makes White follow you just to prove a point
  16. So appears that Sweeney doesnt have a jersey on his pads... was really hoping he would be active. And Perry has one so that means no Yeldon
  17. Im making these bacon chicken bites. Seasoned with brown sugar and cayenne
  18. Daniel Jones 7th and Ed Oliver 19th get real... Jones flashed some potential but Ed had by far the better rookie campaign. 5 sacks as a rookie DT is an amazing season. Heck that is a good season for experienced DTs
  19. I thought he phrased it just right...
  20. Please Browns take him... offensive play calling is what is holding this team back. People sre crediting Daboll for Josh's improvement. Im more of a believer that it was Ken Dorsey who helped the most. Plus the game at this level is slowing down for Allen. Daboll is just a conservative coach... he plays it safe and because of that he will be nothing more than solid.
