  1. Lol yeah. Even on the weekend after working a 60 hour week. Poor guy died of stress among other things now that I think about it (my grandpa). Catholicism can keep you on the right track in life but as others said you should live that way because of fear of the after world.
  2. My curiosities this morning led me to ask something which I'm sure cause debate or not. Grandfather was an old school Catholic, thought chilling was a mortal sin and missing Mass. Wasn't raised that extreme but grew up with that sort of influence. The men in my family were like Jack Arnold from The Wonder Years. Is that sort of upbringing a thing of the past for the most part?
  3. The people, restaurants, or good neighbors? Or the Bills and tailgating? I overheard someone today say they visited the city and found it depressing, would never live there, and any other negative stereotype it has. It's what made me raise the question. To each their own but I found this person to be a d-bag.
  4. Browns. Very similar good loyal fan bases. Like the city of Cleveland as well
  5. Death Race 2000! Pre Rocky Balboa
  6. New Jersey, NYC, and Philly don't really have any parades for it which is a shame. It's sounds cool coming from someone part Polish
  7. No love for Van Pelt? There was the classic 2001 game where he almost spoiled the Jets season.
  8. Yeah it's funny as I typed that I'm thinking, Damn this guys been around a while! I mean how many other people in other sports have been with the same team as long as him.
  9. Familia looked very promising, hope he's back to being himself. Always gotta love seeing Yadier bleeping Molina strike out.
  10. Hurricanes still have a very outside chance of making the playoffs. They are the only team with a longer playoff drought. Hope this doesn't turn into a Buffalo Bills drought
  11. Was a big toy car collector as a kid and then sports cards when I got older. The cars I kept but the cards I threw out most of them unless they were somewhat valuable or were a Bills player. Every now and then though I appease my inner child by buying some basketball cards or Hot Wheels
  12. Easter egg hunts?
  13. No love for Tre White? I know only one year but I was very impressed
  14. Home openers seem to usually go well for both the Mets and Bills
  15. Blast from the past, the George Bamberger days. Opening Day 36 years ago. I liked some of the fans creative ways then of getting in the stadium
  16. Yeah that was good. In all seriousness I thought he did capture the mood of depression well in the movie. I've dealt with it to a degree
  17. I'm curious what fellow Bills fans think of him. Was reading his thoughts on the current state of affairs of different things. The one character is obviously my avatar. I did actually like The Brown Bunny though. Dont think hes he's too fond of Buffalo though
  18. I really like McDermott but I don't think he'll ever have the guts to pull moves like Petersen did in the Super Bowl
  19. It might be more of an exercise thing. The average person only walks when going to the bathroom and flexes their muscles when texting or in my case posting on TBD
  20. We always historically do go on Opening Day. I think we may have the highest winning percentage in baseball on it. It's the rest of the season....
  21. T.O. That 99 yard touchdown he had that year still showed he could be explosive. Spiller in 2012 as well. I know he fumbled a lot of important kick offs but McKelvin from time to time could take them to the house How can we forget Stevie J? Love him or hate him he kept at least me interested
  22. Going on history were still the last team that lost the Super Bowl to make it back the next year. Thinking they don't make it back
  23. I know Rex was a bag of wind but if you're being paid all that money you cant just not come to play. He had some good years under the Marrone regime but never lived up to his contract
  24. I remember one of the last games of the 2010 season we lost 34-3 to the Patriots making it 15 losses in a row against them. At that point I would have almost given up my right arm to see them beat the Patriots. Low and behold months later they won that Week 3 game against them. At that point everything was perfect with the universe and it felt we finally turned a page. How have we fared since against them? I merely bring that up as I could somewhat understand the opposing argument. But no not worth tanking! Seeing those locker room and fan videos and Kyle Williams get rewarded was awesome
