  1. Chris Makepeace- the movies My Bodyguard and Meatballs he was in. Jesse Camp- back when MTV played some music this guy pretended he was homeless and won a VJ contest. Wander what became of him Speaking of MTV, Tom Green. He dropped of the face of the earth.
  2. He did actually graduate from Yale. But yes that doesn't necessarily equate to intelligence or street smarts
  3. Eric Roberts. Guy was big in the 80's and a better actor then his sister.
  4. -Knocking the Jets out of the playoffs on the last day in 2015. Particularly intercepting Fitz 3 times in the 4th quarter. -Almost knocking the Jets out the playoffs in 2001 on the 2nd to last game of the year. -As mentioned the Pats week 3 game in 2011 -The 2010 game against the Bengals where Stevie had The Why So Serious Shirt after the TD -The 2007 Cowboys Monday Night game. The ending sucked but the atmosphere that night looked like it couldn't be beat.
  5. Well I mean I guess they all sort of are. 2012 stood out to me though. I tended to believe Fitzpatrick struggled at the end of 2011 because of a hit against Washington. He supposedly had broken ribs he played with. I still had high hopes for him. Then the Mario signing which was huge at the time. Also, Stevie took less money to return that season which to me indicated something good was gonna happen. Plus the Pats didn't appear that strong that year. Needless to say I had high expectations. Week 1 came that year and we got creamed by then Rex's Jets. The Titans & Rams games also stand out that year as they were a down away from winning both those games. Uggh very frustrating season.
  6. My lasting memory of him was at the press conference after Rex got fired saying he had no idea that was going down. At the time I thought he was either just blowing smoke up people's butt or was just totally naïve and or kept out of the loop Either way it didn't make management look too good. I do think Whaley had the best interests for the team at heart though. Wish him well
  7. Every now and then there O.K. People in general tend to make me anxious though. Made it to The Ralph though twice in my life. Was a fun environment. Would like to see if I can get to the Denver game this year.
  8. I have all the movies on DVD except Creed. 1 and 2 are my favorites of the series. I watch them every couple of years for motivation. Good stuff
  9. I know in the big picture of life it's just a game but I don't think I could. At least not during this Brady/Belichick era. Would just be too awkward, I don't even see Gisele as being attractive anymore. I do have two friends that root for the Pats. Their fine people otherwise but I never bring up the subject of football.
  10. I've never actually heard of someone getting fired for it on it's own. Guess it just depends on the people and environment involved. That was a crappy thing that happened to the OP though. I'm glad it seemed to work out for him. How about job references? Just something to throw into the mix, I wonder how many bosses would be willing to give their former employees good references if they just leave.
  11. https://youtu.be/vMWjVcSjTRo Caught this on YouTube just now. Thought maybe some fans would enjoy it here. The win to break the streak against the Dolphins that year was great. The Kodak commercials were another plus. Maybe there's some similarities to this years squad? Both 7-9 the year before and not many had expectations for them. Here's too good things next year
  12. OP, I get what your saying. I guess I'm naive but when Rex got hired I didn't think he would change the defense that was working. Hence the sh*t show last season. But I think McDermott wants to go back to the defense implied by Schwartz. Anyway we'll see
  13. Has there ever been a study as to whether hard as* coaches are more successful than nice guy coaches in the NFL? I mean going back over the last couple Jauron, Gailey, and Rex were all either nice guys and or players coaches. It didn't work out too well. Marrone was a hardas*, say what you want him but he was able to get too 9-7 that one year. Then again Marv really wasn't a hardas*. Not sure where McDermott lies. Yeah just kind of wondered.
  14. Same here OP, Week 3 2011 against the Pats. First time I got to make it to the Ralph and couldn't have picked a better game. Came back from 21-0 that day. When Florence got the pick 6 in the 4th quarter it felt like the stadium was gonna collapse. The fan behind me was so excited he started hugging me. Then when Lindell hit the winning field goal as time expired you couldn't even hear the cannon that was shot it was so loud. Just a great day.
  15. Has anyone else been there? Was there years ago, beautiful house in a nice part of the city. If your interested in Frank Lloyd Wright it's a must.
  16. Perhaps it takes a liar to beat cheaters. If it's true though it's pretty sad. I mean what would even posess him to make money like that at his position.
  17. Agreed. Still I don't trust his ability to stay healthy. I'd still get insurance at the WR position.
  18. I have a soft spot for the Browns and follow them during the year. Pulling for the Patriots or Dolphins or just jumping on some teams bandwagon I agree though is unacceptable.
  19. There really hasn't been too many but I always still enjoy watching McKelvin's interception of Fitz in the End Zone on the last game of 2015. For these reasons: - That play pretty much put the Jets in the positon they are now. They were 10-5 and just about to take the lead in that game and make the playoffs. That play changed all the momentum that day. I still don't think the Jets have recovered to this date. - Lets be honest, how many times did we see Fitz do the same thing here, throw a INT at a crucial moment. - I thought the whole play was pretty ironic as well. Fitz the Harvard grad with 1570 SAT scores, and the highest Wonderlic score in the NFL got outsmarted by Leodis McKelvin. I suppose Rex got to stay an additional year because of that game but that play always does make me smile.
  20. Not on either one of them. Always thought it was dumb for the most part. Then again I'm not the most social guy in the world. Perhaps this site is the closest I come to utilizing social media if you want to call it that. How bout everyone else?
  21. It was one of the last posts I had on BBMB. Grew up rooting for the Mets. Wanted to see who fellow Bills fans pulled in terms of baseball. Know the Jays are close but are aware of the Sabres/Leafs rivalry.
  22. Yeah all the QBs in that draft turned out to be a bust. Made no sense to bring Fitz back as the starter that year so I don't blame the EJ pick. He was supposed to learn from Kevin Kolb but that never happened.
  23. Yeah it was a joke. Did the game though have any long term playoff implications seeding wise that year? I can't remember. Think we lost to the Dolphins that year in the playoffs.
