  1. On the old BBMB and here as well The Comeback comes up as a favorite game for us fans. Deservedly so. I've never actually seen though on any of these boards someone admitting to leaving early and not coming back because the game looked futile. Will anyone own up to it?
  2. Cool story thanks for sharing. The Curious George movie was the first time I heard of Jack too
  3. Just curious if anyone's ever heard of that Seven Minutes From Heaven movie
  4. Jack Johnson's Upside Down did it to me some years back. It's the theme from the Curious George movie. The song reminded me that all things are still possible. Was a much needed kick me in the butt at the time 😂
  5. Chicken Club: Grilled Chicken Bacon Lettuce & Tomatoes Mayo Italian Hero or Hoggie roll
  6. I liked Clueless too. I laugh whenever I watch it because they were making fun of how rich high school kids acted back in the 90s. The reality is today most high school kids act more entitled.
  7. I always really liked this movie Seven Minutes In Heaven from the 80s. It was one of Jennifer Connelly's first films. It was about this three teenagers growing up, experiencing first loves, issues with parents and step parents, and crushes. Something about this movie though always reminded me of childhood. It just had an innocence too it which you don't see anymore. https://youtu.be/v7gHFaItj-0
  8. You sure? I mean after the Bills lost that day I was too frustrated too care. But I do remember the most unlikely thing that needed to happen that day was the Jaguars beating the Titans which actually went down. Very true. But I do wonder if he had finished 9-7 and made the Playoffs how much things may have changed. I mean you're right but he could have sold us that the was the first coach to make the Playoffs since the Flutie era.
  9. I realize this question is way late and irrelevant at this point, but if the Bills beat the Dolphins and Jets those two weeks would they have made the playoffs? I know after Week 16 they still would have been alive if they beat the Dolphins, because Marrone's Jaguars won that day. I'm not here to defend Rex at all, but sometimes I wonder how much his perception would have changed if they won those last 2 games.
  10. Speaking of subways, there's the New York Transit Museum in Brooklyn that I thought was pretty cool. It's not very far from the Brooklyn Bridge. It was only like $5 the last time I went. Price I think went up though. It's a former subway station turned into museum that has a bunch of subway cars from the early 1900's you can walk in and observe. Not sure if that's something you'd find interesting
  11. My first experience going to The Ralph (now New Era Field) was the famous week 3 Patriots game from 2011. Obviously that ranks up there with games for crowd excitement. But I'm sure there may have been some louder: -The Dallas Monday night game in 2007. The place just seemed electric the whole game despite the ending. -The Patriots game from 2015 when fans tried to actually set the record for most fan noise -The home opener in 2014 against the Dolphins when the Pegulas took over Someone else here would probably remember this but I remember watching a game as a kid in the early 90's when the refs had to warn the fans to be quieter. Maybe the 92' Broncos AFC Championship?
  12. I still remember The Man Show! I wonder what 2000 Jimmy Kimmel would have thought of 2017 Jimmy Kimmel
  13. I mean he kind of was a "bully" in a sense. Bullies pick on weaker targets but are afraid of their own shadow when they confront someone tougher then them. Rex's teams would go all out to beat lesser teams like the 49ers and Browns last year. But against the Patriots or Steelers they would always crap out. I think the Patriots win last year without Brady was the only team they beat a team with a winning record in his tenure? Well also the last Jets game of 15' as well. So 2? I admit I liked the hire initially though. I figured 10-6 in 2015 and Playoffs. Boy was I wrong
  14. Good choice! May very well be the most loyal fan base out there. I'd go Kyle Williams though. As before mentioned Bills fans know what he is but not so much other people
  15. Bills fan born and raised in Jersey too. Awesome story. I only see it maybe once or twice a year someone wearing or having something on their car that signals their a Bills fan. Never was fortunate enough to turn into anything more. This site is as close as it gets for me
  16. That's kind of you to say. There's not part of you though that wants karma to be served? I mean what if that was your best friend drowning
  17. You can only hope one day these kids will be in deep you know what or on life support and somebody will laugh at them
  18. Like me for example I tended to pull a little harder for the team back in 2010 and 2012. Odd years I know. In 2010 I lost my job and went through periods of depression and not wanting to leave the house. Even though the Bills started 0-8 that year, I was encouraged that they kept fighting. Made me want to do the same in own life. Like the Stevie drop game that year, a lot of games were lost in OT. In 2012, I thought I turned a corner in my life and I thought the Bills that too that offseason. I was optimistic for them that year. Unfortunately things didn't go as planned for me that year as did the Bills. What can we do but move on. But yeah of course their my team but some years I've pulled harder for them because what was going on in my life. Can anyone else relate or are your rooting habits consistent year to year? That is if the team hasn't totally frustrated you yet.
  19. I threw Davids name out there because of Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Seinfeld had its moments that make you laugh but I feel the shows a bit overrated. I rented the first season of Curb My Enthusiasm years back and thought it was just okay. Seemed like life just revolving around a bunch of millionaires. Maybe I'll rewatch it again, time changes how I see stuff. Just my $0.02.
  20. Chevy Chase. I liked the Griswold movies he made but everything else was just unfunny. Larry David. Just overrated Kevin James
  21. When I say New Yorkers I mean NYC. They tend to be a bit more wanting to be at the center of everything than Buffaloians, well at least in my encounters. Have different accents as well. Any other big differences?
  22. Jerry Seinfeld. I mean I don't hate him just find him very overrated
