  1. The bathroom scene at the beginning with the guy violating his personal space was quite amusing
  2. Careful what you wish for. He did come back to manage the Red Sox in 2012 and that was a historically bad season for them. I do miss his teams though
  3. Fitzmagic and Fitztragic. Both were appropriate at different times
  4. You reminded me of Anthony “Bobbie” Dixon
  5. A Whole Foods is opening up nearby where I live. Have never actually shopped there. Kinda seems it’s overpriced stuff anyway.
  6. I read he’s like really difficult to work with. Did you find that true?
  7. Just Lol! Not even worth getting upset about anymore. On the bright side, Wheeler on the other hand looked good. Id hang onto him. Even after giving up the grand slam against the Dodgers he took full responsibility. I like that
  8. Was ready to annoite Fitz as the next coming of Jim Kelly after his first month in 2011. That was right after the Patriots win and I’m pretty sure he got offensive player of the month or something like that
  9. Yeah I hear ya. I think even Mike said that was one of the biggest regrets of his career not fighting. Its deinifely easier to say in hindsight but I think Piazza was afraid of getting suspended for fighting the rest of the series. And really who else was there in the lineup that year? Still I take from that you gotta do what you gotta do
  10. Shortly and sadly for possible years to come in the future that may also be the number of fans that show up to left field. 3!
  11. Haha, always thought you were a pacifist kind of a guy. I agree with you though there comes a point you can't just keep taking it like that. And he whatever can cause I spark. I'm in my 30's as well and don't remember this but Teufel was by all accounts as straight arrow as they came (not saying that's a bad thing). He would confront though if he had too. Different era
  12. Intersting story. I do remember in an interview Gallo saying her mouth smelled like booze a lot
  13. The one that stands out to me is Todd Hundley in left field. But in that case they just got Piazza so they were trying to make it work. I do think Mike was never really warmly received here at first because of how popular Todd was at the time. Ultimately turned out worth it though
  14. Palookaville by any chance? I thought that movie was really funny
  15. Well I think Tuesday is the day it was initially released in select theaters twenty years ago. I had just started high school and heard somewhere somebody made a movie about wanting to kill Scott Norwood. I thought that on its own was quite amusing at the time and made me interested in checking it out. It's a movie though I liked more as I got older. Watch it every couple of years or so. The Buffalo filming locations as well as the Yes soundtrack are some things that make it memorable and some funny moments (the calls to Goon). I remember posting a thread here to see if people liked the movie and I think it was mixed. Regardless, the movie being twenty years old is making me realize how fast time goes by!
  16. Yeah agree on Calloway. I might be mistaken but I thought he was sold as a young fiery guy who wouldn't be accepting of a country club type atmosphere. Gave him the benefit of the doubt too long. Art Howe would have even fared much better with this group.
  17. It's at the point now I just laughed at that grand slam. Though I do feel bad for Wheeler as his first 5 innings were solid. So I read an article that said Sandy thinks the team is in between sellers and buyers and is gonna see how it plays out until the deadline. It's like they still think this can be turned around. I'm sure he'll do something. Kind of at the point hoping they don't win a game until the trade deadline. Then maybe it will get through to blow up the core "whatever the core is".
  18. Liked the EJ Manuel draft pick and thought he would work out Liked the choice of Rex initially as the coach after Marrone left
  19. Found highlights of this awesome game. Rams were 5-0 going into it. Only MNF games I have a memory of though are the 07 Cowboys game and the Seahawks game a few years ago. The 2000 Titans game the first year of the drought may have been? I remember it being at night.
  20. Nimmo for sure, and hopefully Josh Allen lives up to this (since he went to school there): People from Wyoming rule!
  21. Pats win it but Bills win the Monday Night Game in dramatic fashion
