To be fair, and I’m making an assumption here, you don’t already have millions that you are sitting on. It’s incredibly easy for someone like us to take the money because comparatively speaking we don’t have all that much. Now if I was 30 years old and nearing the twilight of my career, who already made over $45m in the NFL alone, I might consider taking a little less for a year or two so I could say I was a world champion.

It’s crazy how much they have fallen off the last 10 years, especially the last 5. Sad for the people losing their jobs (they’ll be fine, I’m sure). But hopefully they get back to having decent sports shows again and not a bunch of former players bickering all the time

if they ever decide to change the logo, I’d like to see a combination of old and new. I’ve seen this picture around for a while and think it would be kinda cool to go with this logo and maybe add the stripe to it. (Obviously remove the player)

I will admit the all-white/standing Buffalo AFL uniform is better than our modern all-white. This kit is so clean, and I actually think the thinner sleeve stripes are way better on the white jerseys

I think the warm reception to the Goat Heads recently was because the Sabres teams wearing them were good in those uniforms. Made the finals in ‘99 and had memorable teams and players. They have not won much since switching back to the classic jerseys. We had a decent team this past season when they brought them back as an alt sweater, and that timing helps lol.

I have to agree, or at least say we have a top-5 kit. Specifically our blue/white and white/white combos are perfection. I think arguments can be made for the following teams/uniforms. This is just a list, not necessarily my ranking: 1. Chargers (Home) 2. Packers (Home) 3. Steelers (Home) 4. Bengals (All-White alts) 5. Bills (Tie: Blue/White and White/White) Honorable Mentions to: 49ers, Dolphins, and GMEN throwbacks

Huh… I’ve always personally associated the title “Baron” more with the French/German iterations used more recently than their original British origins. Never really crossed my mind.

Owego (southern tier). There’s a lot of Native American historical recognition in the area including a grave for Sa Sa Na which is one of the most visible landmarks in the village. It does stink to change, but then again we were the “Indians” and not the “Natives” so I kinda get it. Not many Native Americans from India after all. Maybe I’m sheltered but I have no clue how Baron could be interpreted that way lol

My high school alma mater is one of the NYS schools that needs to change their mascot to keep state funding this fall. If the national outrage is anything like the local outrage they need to just pick a name immediately and move forward. I’ve never seen a bunch of boomers who haven’t lived in the area for 30+ years get so bent out of shape about a school changing from “Indians” to something else. We get it, your glory days have long since faded. It’s gonna be ok. TBH they can’t do much worse than the commies

I was really torn about the OL. I remember that they traded to get Marlowe last year, plus just signing him, makes me think he makes the roster. I do also agree that there will be some shuffling at the beginning of the year with the PUP and other potential injuries, so there’s definitely room to work around that. I had a few UDFA guys come in and show enough to make the cut. Mims is likely to make the PS over Bowser but I thought maybe with them signing him so soon into Rookie Tryouts that maybe he really showed something, so I gave him the nod. Same with Wayne vs Johnson. I’ve got a funny feeling Shavers makes it regardless. If there are any other surprise signings or trades this changes things, but overall I like the roster. LB is our weakest position I think.
