  1. It honestly makes a lot of sense for them, sad to say. He’s having a great combine and looks to be a difference maker.
  2. Had a pretty good Combine. Here’s the summary: 40 yard dash: 4.47 10 yard split: 1.51 Vert Jump: 40” Broad Jump: 10’ 11” 3 Cone Drill: 6.99s 20 Yard Shuttle: 4.01s Bench Press: 14 reps I have a late 3rd grade on him
  3. AD was always a borderline 1st rounder, but he might easily replace Coleman after today.
  4. 7. If the pats were smart they’d throw whatever number he wants and draft a rookie QB at pick 3 to give him a safety net as he acclimates to the league. 3 years, $80m should do it.
  8. Oh crap, Bishop finished the last drill smooth but pulled up his right leg at the very end. Hoping it was a cramp…
  9. Yep. I wasn’t sure about Smith but I think in the 4th he makes a lot of sense. Maybe 3rd but I’m not sold on taking him that early just yet
  10. During drills I’m seeing a LOT of safeties slipping on the turf. Not a knock on them, but I legit just saw 4 in a row have an issue breaking left I wanted him in the 3rd but he probably won’t be there at pick 100 after today. Bishop looks really good and I was high on him before the draft. If we get to the 80s and he’s floating around I’d be willing to package a 5th and 6th to move if a team is willing to bite

  12. They just discussed Robert Saleh is not present currently at the combine but will be flying in tomorrow to watch the remaining players. Seems strange to me, but then again this is the Jets we are talking about… So all he is going to be seeing will be QBs, RBs, WRs and OL Players. Also stated the Giants are a team that could potentially make a jump from 6 to get a QB possibly
  13. Turns out it was a hip flexor, and he will participate at the pro day in April.
  14. Nate Wiggins felt a pop in his groin after running 4.29 and is being taken back for evaluation. Already been told he is done for the day.

  16. Defensive Backs and Tight Ends about to start today. Work has been slow so I’ll do what I can
  17. Work beckons. Will update main post once I am free
  18. Dorlus ran 4.85 and 4.91, great series for him Eboigbe was something like 5.18 and 5.21 Fiske at 4.78 and 4.81 - the fastest so far today and leading in all the jump metrics as well Gabe Hall in at 5.06 and 5.04 Marcus Harris 5.08 and 5.07 Mckinnley Jackson 5.27 and 5.26 Kris Jenkins 5.02 and 4.91 - nice second run! Logan Lee: 5.05 and 5.06 Zion Logue: 5.14 and 5.22 - bad start Byron Murphy Ii: 4.88 and 4.9 - Myles Murphy: 5.21 and 5.25
  19. Early results: Fiske is a freak. Currently leads for vertical jump, broad jump, and ran 4.78 40-yard time Maason smith came in a touch over 5s, looked comfortable post-injury (knee). Mekhi Wingo was at 4.87 2nd runs about to start DeWayne Carter keeps jumping a touch too early
  20. DTs taking the field now. Will post relevant updates to main post as time permits
  21. Love Jenkins at 60. I hope we go WR, DT, DE, S in the first 4 rounds provided we keep all those picks. I’d be ok with moving that order around depending on how the draft falls but, ideally, I’d love to see something like this (pre-combine, pre FA): rd 1: WR Franklin rd 2: DT Jenkins rd 3: BPA for DE (Dorlus/Elliss), S (Bishop/Hicks), or WR (Wilson/Thrash) rd 4: BPA same as above, preferably for a position not drafted yet unless someone really falls
  22. KC could spend a future pick to move up. They just won with Rashee Rice and a bunch of JAGS at WR and know full well they could possibly run it back with the addition of an elite/high level WR coming in. I don’t think they are plotting how to beat the Bills necessarily but they know we want a WR so we are the one they need to jump. A 1st and 3rd can get them from 32 up to possibly 25, with 3 NFC teams in front of us that’s more doable than within conference. If they see their future WR1 in this draft they will move to get him.
  23. This is the correct mentality. We are not drafting a replacement for Gabe- we are drafting the heir to Diggs. We don’t want a WR2, we want a WR1 who is only #2 because Diggs is still a top-10 WR (on paper). By next year Diggs and Rookie will hopefully be about even.
  24. I agree 100%. Outside of 20 is just too expensive with our needs. There are quality WRs to be had in every round of this draft. If Thomas and Franklin are floating around after 21 go get your guy. God knows KC is looking for theirs, so let’s not get passed up if we need to move. I’ll do my best lol. Provided systems stay up at work I should be able to manage updates fairly well.
  25. Figured it was time to start one of these. Coaches, GMs, and teams are gathering at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis to see which players impress athletically and mentally as they perform drills, medical evaluations, and interviews. After this week we will see perhaps the largest adjustment to mock draft placement for players, with incremental changes as pro days and private workouts further narrow down the likely landing spot of 250+ future NFL players… whether they make the cut or live up to their draft position will be determined. Combine Schedule: Thursday, 2/29 3pm – Defensive Linemen, Linebackers Friday, 3/1, 3pm – Defensive Backs, Tight Ends Saturday, 3/2, 1pm – Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers, Running Backs Sunday, 3/3, 1pm – Offensive Linemen Projected Positions of Need (pre- Free Agency): Primary - WR, DT, S, DE Secondary - RB, OT, OC Personal Watch List: WR: Brian Thomas Jr, Troy Franklin, AD Mitchell, Xavier Leggette, Keon Coleman, Johnny Wilson, Brenden Rice, Jacob Cowing, DT: Kris Jenkins, Braden Fiske, T’Vondre Sweat, McKinnley Jackson, Masson Smith, Leonard Taylor, Jordan Jefferson, Keith Randolph Jr S: Javon Bullard, Tykee Smith, Cole Bishop, Jaden Hicks, Malik Mustapha, Trey Taylor, Kenny Logan Jr DE: Laiatu Latu, Chop Robinson, Darius Robinson, Jonah Ellis, Bralen Trice, Austin Booker, Marshawn Kneeland, Javon Solomon, Justin Eboigbe, Mohamed Kamara Bills Related Combine Media RESULTS https://www.nfl.com/combine/tracker/live-results/bench-press/all-positions/all-colleges/ THURSDAY RESULTS: DL, LB
