  1. 1. Name the first 5 players draft in order (Feel free to name the teams as well for bonus points) Bryce Young (CAR), CJ Stroud (HOU), Will Anderson Jr (ARI), Anthony Richardson (IND) Tyree Wilson (SEA) 2. How many trades will be in the first round? 3-4. I’ll say 3 - Washington moves up for Levis - Giants move up for a WR - Bills and Cards DHop trade 3. Will the Bills trade up, back, or stay put? Trading back 4. Will DHop be traded today? (doesn't mean he is traded for a first round pick). Bonus points to identify the team he is traded to Yes, Buffalo gets it done. 5. Who will the Bills pick? Nobody in round 1. We select Trenton Simpson or Jack Campbell with 34 (if we don’t trade back again) 6. How many RB's will go in the first round? Robinson. Anyone else is a reach. 7. How many QB's will go in the first round? 4. Young, Stroud, Richardson, Levis. 8. Will ESPN cut to commercial if/when the Bills make their selection? Not this year - commercial right beforehand but the pick will be aired lol 9. Who will be the biggest reach pick of the draft (Yes, I know this up for debate. Gruden made it so easy with the Raiders) Levis. Someone is going to draft him early. I have him as a late 2nd/early 3rd round talent 10. Which college will have the most players selected in the first round? Ohio State
  2. As long as you’re drinking or smoking is it really a waste?
  3. Ahhhhhh the good old days. I definitely bought a shirt in the parking lot that year that said “Marshawn can hit whoever the **** he wants.”
  4. What kind of Dr/Patient confidentiality is this?? YOU SAID YOU WOULDN’T TELL ANYONE.
  5. Here are my working theories if we entertained a trade back (not considering who may slip) 1. Arizona: 27 & 91 <-> 34, 105, Hopkins: We swap 91 to 105 in exchange for them taking more of the cap hit. I think we even entertain moving from 34 back again if a partner exists between 35 - 44. We could potentially add another round 3 or 4 pick if someone is willing to pony up. I think once we secure DHop it allows us to freedom to focus on OL, LB, and DT prospects and select the BPA of those positions. This is my most likely scenario. Saints: 27 <-> 29, 115 If there’s someone the Saints want to snag this is a pretty fair deal for both parties. We net a 4th rounder and only move 2 spots. Not bad, and leaves the ability to trade back again if we felt the need. I could even see us moving 27 <-> 40, 71 if they wanted to keep 29. Personally I like this option a lot. Gives us another 3rd to get a WR like Perry or Mingo. GB: 27 & 91 <-> 42, 45: If GB is high on someone and wants a 5th year option on a target (maybe TE or WR?) they could be willing to move some nice 2nd round picks back to us. If this happens, we go LB at 42, OL (Avila preferably) at 45, and 59 is DT. 3 major needs handled in the 2nd round. It makes the gap from 59 - 130 way more digestible walking away with some real talent that early. Definitely going to miss some good guys in the middle rounds but that’s the price you pay. I could also see the Raiders trying to move 38 & 70 for 27 & 130.
  6. Yes- I’d rather still have a pick (even if a few selections back) than to give one up. We have holes to fill, and I’d like to keep as many picks as possible. to be honest, I’d consider moving back from 34 a little bit as well depending how round 1 goes. Anything at or before 44 (Atlanta). Candidates that make sense are Raiders at 38, Saints at 40, Packers at 42, and Atlanta at 44. We could potentially still get a premier LB or OL player at any of those spots and snag a 3rd or 4th rounder as well.
  7. Only thing I would love more than this is going from 27 <-> 34, and 91 <->105 (for them taking on some of his contract). If they need next years 6th as well I’d throw it in for sure.
  8. *Trade* Buff to AZ 27 <-> 34 91 <-> 105 Hopkins *We get a massive WR boost, but the Cardinals taking some of that extra cap hit means we swap 91 for 105. Buff to GB 34 -> 42, 149 *GB trades up to get an offensive weapon (in my head it’s Downs) and we step back a few spots for an extra mid-draft pick. Draft / Trade results: T. WR Deandre Hopkins 42. LB Jack Campbell 59. OL Avila / Schmitz / Mauch 105. DT Zacch Pickens 130. CB Tre’Visius Hodges-Thomlinson 137. DE Isaiah McGuire 149. S Trey Dean 205. RB Mohamed Ibrahim I could also see 137 as Bryce Ford-Wheaton or Luke Schoonmacher if he was still there.
  9. Yeah, well, I know for a fact Sammy is the best decoy in the game… 😂
  10. We were on the other side of it once- won’t happen like that again
  11. Good for him - bad for Lamar lol
  12. Here is my way-too-long response… We need to come out of the 2nd round with 2 of these guys IMO (i personally feel we ought to be trading back if possible): Steve Avila: probably the most versatile G/C in the draft. He can slot in the middle seamlessly and if this is the last year with Morse he can take over under center for the next decade. His ability to Swiss Army knife into the line makes him super appealing and fits the Beane mold he values in OL flexibility. Run to the podium if he somehow makes it to 59. Jack Campbell: I have Simpson graded higher, but Campbell checks a lot of the right boxes and can tackle well. There is the Keuchly connection too, so there’s that. Sanders is fine too but I worry about his tackling. John Micheal Schmitz: Best Center in the draft, but that’s going to be his one and only spot. If we get him somehow he might kick to guard for a year at most while we have Morse, but he is at his best in the middle of that line and is absolutely a McDermott kind of guy. Cody Mauch: I like him enough to take him at 59, but not any higher at all. Kick him inside and he will be great, but I’m not sold on him as a tackle. He has all the tools to be successful in the league though Keeanu Benton: Big hulking DT (who is also a wrestler, so McDermott already sold on him) who stuffs the run and is a force to be reckoned with. Admittedly not the best at getting after the QB, but in the 2nd he’s an excellent pick. **3rd Round - one or two depending on trade back AT Perry: A bigger possession WR who can line up in any spot on the field and be effective. I think he struggles with contact a little bit and separation isn’t where I’d like it to be, but he can contribute day 1. I see him starting as 3/4 on the depth chart and moving up from there. Expecting more of him so early isn’t realistic but I think he gets there after a year or two. Jonathan Mingo: Tall RAC machine. I feel like a lot of the bigger names are going to be gone in those first 2 rounds, and I don’t think we should go too far out of our way for a quality WR if we can avoid it. Mingo in the 3rd is going to prove to be well worth the slight reach - I have an early 4th round grade on him, but he’s not lasting to the end of the round IMO. This might be a little reach, but not an overreach if you get my meaning. Sydney Brown: He’s one of my favorite Safety options in the draft, and a 3 down player. Versatile as heck, and was a 5 year starter in college. He’s going to be good, and sitting behind Po and Hyde is going to help him get that much better. Now, that said, is he needed *now* to win *now* is the question. We have our Safeties, we have a possible returning Hamlin and Benford could make the move to Saftey as well. If we go BPA and he is in there, he’s the pick. I could see him go in the 2nd if the stars align possibly (though unlikely) Sam LaPorta: TE with good hands, routes and Measurables. He’s going to be damn good in my eyes, but I think he goes a little before before 91. While he blocks, sometimes he doesn’t block for long, so that’s the knock I have on him. Depending how the other picks Tre’Vius Hodges Tomlinson: 3rd/borderline 4th rounder. He overcommits sometimes but I think that is coachable. He’s met with the Bills and I think the interest is real, but you can’t coach size and at 5’9” he’s going to have challenges. I’m fine with him at 91, but could see him fall as low as 130. If he somehow makes it to 130 I don’t see how you could possibly pass him up. *Fourth or Later* Zack Kuntz: Monster TE, athletic as all hell, and has a massive catch radius. Get him blocking a little lower and he’d be a 3rd rounder. Could see him 4th or 5th round. Pick 130 sounds fair, but I could see someone reach for him earlier than that. That someone could even be us given his athleticism. Luke Schoonmaker: Another TE, another 4th or 5th round pick. TE is deep in this draft, and I think he’s a good TE2. I think Kuntz is the more intriguing prospect but for a 5th rounder he’s going to live up to or exceed his draft expectations. Andrew Voorhis: he’s not contributing this year with his combine injury, but I really like him and think he’s going to be good in this league. Obviously if we are picking for need he would be lower on the priority list, but he’s very interesting to consider at 137. Mohammad Ibrahim: This guy is going to be Motor 2.0 - get him with pick 205 and let him do his thing. Low risk high reward. I don’t like any RB not named Robinson before the 5th round.
  13. No RB in the first 4 rounds. Robinson is the only possible exception and I’m not even sure about that.
  14. Idk guys, might have to think about this one…
  15. It was more the trade up for him that shocked me, less the pick. If we sat still and got him I’d have been fine, but a move up in what was known as a deep WR class was surprising
  16. Maybe I worded it poorly, but my overall feeling is that we should explore whatever trade back options we have available as we have a few more holes than usual to fill and only 6 picks to do it with. I like Campbell, but I don’t think we need to rush to the podium to take him at 27. I think we could trade back to the late 30’s or early 40’s and still get him. If he was drafted before we get him, we still can get either another somewhat similar player with that pick, or use it to take the BPA as we have multiple positions of need. We can always come back around to address the LB position in the 3rd round of our top rated guys are gone. I’d rather see if we can get an extra 3rd rounder to help fill roles for positions of need next year like WR, DT or S. No sense drafting ahead of where we can get a player if there is a trade partner willing to movie up to 27
  17. Watkins over Mack. I think everyone absolutely thought we traded up for the kid in our back yard. I remember dancing around like “ohhhhh snap we got Mack!”… then hearing Watkins just threw me off. I liked Watkins but not enough to trade up for him. Even with as good a prospect as he was thought to be, it just felt like a reach.
  18. I really don’t think we could go wrong with either of them in the 3-4 round range. I know everyone loves some of the smaller receivers this year, and I do too in all fairness, but Diggs is eventually going to slow down, and might be better suited for the slot in 2-3 years. I’d rather have that larger guy on the outside for a few years to eventually (hopefully) take over. That said, much as we need a WR to come and compete, we have a big hole at LB, no long term answers after this year at DT, and need to keep Josh protected as higher priorities in my mind. Guys like Campbell (in a trade back to 36-44 range) Avila, Ika, etc are going to be hard to ignore when there is some real quality to this WR class in middle rounds.
  19. I love Jack Campbell as our first pick. …. as long as that pick is traded back and taken between 36-48. This is not a knock on him in any way, but I think we really need to consider moving back and getting as much value as we can if there’s a willing trade partner out there. There really isn’t any prospect I 100% love at 27 that we can’t trade back for and either still get, or at least get a comparable (if not as highly regarded) prospect.
  20. I see Mingo in the 3-4 range personally, meaning he will likely be taken in the late 2-3 range. If he is there at 91 he makes a lot of sense for us in my eyes. I think he’s more athletically gifted than Tank Dell who I could also see us targeting in the 3-4 range.
  21. https://apple.news/ACCaypQEfTlyWi9RjcBq8Ig A bit more detail in this article for the breakdown. Looks like YouTube won’t be getting my money this year
  22. If Mohammad Ibrahim can stay healthy he’s a monster in my opinion. Feels like Motor 2.0 to me: https://thedraftnetwork.com/sr-prospect/mohamed-ibrahim-decdcffb-cf99-45fa-88dc-af782287258c/ https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Mohamed-Ibrahim-RB-Minnesota
  23. This isn’t terrible. Beats the annual “new helmet design” threads that always look like crap. ”here’s the Bills helmet, but metallic blue and the logo is bigger by 27% and more angular. BEHOLD!”
