  1. Love it! Will love it even more if they kept the cap hit low this season and backloaded it.
  2. Was there the Friday before the Colts game and the amount of Bills gear was awesome to see for a couple of guys from Cleveland
  3. Honestly, at this point I think the foot issue is a bigger deal than the head/neck/spine/whateveryouwantocallit injury. Mahomes is able to move in, around, and deep outside the pocket at an elite level when he is healthy. If he is hampered and unable to avoid rushers and can’t stop on a dime when on the run and drive into his “wow” throws, it significantly changes the game. I know Mahomes is notoriously good against the blitz but I wonder if we test him early and try to get him moving and putting stress on that foot to see how he holds up.
  4. I came here to say the same thing 😂 Any chance JA17 wants to open his own gym that the Bills can send their players to 😉
  5. Was listening to the local station in Cleveland today to get their pulse on things. Almost spit out my coffee. "With the way the Bills have played the last two games they have no chance against the Browns"
  6. Highly doubt we see him this weekend, especially if the trade block rumors have any truth to them. Can't get a 1 for a guy that is seriously banged up
  7. Hyde is a leader both on the field and in the locker room, and if we have learned anything from McD he is willing to keep and continue to pay his leaders (looking at you Lee Smith). I personally would be shocked if we moved on from him.
  8. To be fair, we thought the same about Zay and were able to ship him off.
  9. Hey! Thanks for the heads up. Guess it relieves me from thinking about/worrying about the game all week and watching on Sunday. You and @Buffalo_Stampede get along nicely I bet
  10. His contract is going to be tough to move. Per Garafolo He is set to earn $15.75MM next year. 12.9 of it is guaranteed for injury and converts to a full guarantee if he is on the roster on the 3rd league day. Being that his ACL will not be fixed by March, I think they would have a tough time finding anyone willing to take on that salary for a guy coming off a major injury
  11. Hot Take: This is going to actually improve the Browns. Baker tries to force it to OBJ a ton to keep him happy. However, when he has the ability to spread it out he is much better
  12. A conditional 6th is better than him taking up space as a roster spot as an inactive on gamedays. But yeah, going to be tough to ship him off for anything substantial. I would expect a 6 next year.
  13. I fully expect Harry Phillips to be shipped out. I would be surprised if we bring in 2 players just based on the compensation we would have to give up
  14. A win is a win, "signature" or not. I'll happily take a 10-6 year and a chance in the playoffs over a 8-8 year with "signature" wins. That being said, for arguments sake, I would say Pittsburgh on SNF last year constitutes a signature win. Pitt was fighting for a playoff spot and had a top defense. We also went to their field, a notoriously tough place to play, won and clinched a playoff berth.
  15. Thanks for the heads up, this frees me up from watching on Sunday
  16. Ok, so here is my attempt to talk myself down from being so concerned. This game comes down to and has always come down to the offense. The Jets are going to be the Jets. They may put up some points, but even with a banged up D they are going to shoot themselves in the foot on several drives. We are not going to see the Jets convert 10/14 3rd downs like the chiefs. If we do, then we deserve any stress that comes along with it. If Josh and the offense come out pissed off and put up points like we know they can, then we should win this game. It is not going to be a blowout like many want, but a W is a W at the end of the year any way you dice it.
  17. I don't hate the idea of calling up Duke, but a lot of that hinges on Milano, White and Feliciano. Its a given at this point that Dane Jackson will be called up. If Milano can't go, then we will likely call up a LB for depth. If Feliciano can't go, then we will likely call up an OL. If the impossible happens and all 3 are good to go, then yeah, have at it and call up Duke.
  18. Yeah, I agree. It just does make me nervous. Offense needs to come out firing and the Dline needs to go to work. Don't want to give them any semblance of hope that they are in the game
  19. Dean Marlowe, Siran Neal, and Dane Jackson are about to have very big roles this weekend, and that doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies
  20. Very concerned with our secondary situation with how many guys are banged up. We should still be fine this week, but need to get right quick for the Pats
  21. I think Tre should be fine to play - probably just sore and giving him time to recoup. Not sure how Norman hurt his hammy when he plays 15 yards off the line, but regardless, his loss would sting.
  22. Spain was the offseason Iron Bills Champion... So don't think the out of shape/bought in angle is why he got released. Probably didn't like getting benched and there was likely some behind the scenes stuff that we do not know about. Sucks, but is what it is. Wish we could have gotten a pick for him but don't want a guy in the locker room that absolutely does not want to be here
  23. Just to be sure, are we comparing Flacco throwing to Mark Andrews, Willie Snead, Crabtree, and John Brown, with a solid offensive line and competent defense and HC to Flacco throwing to Crowder, Hogan, and Perriman with a trash O-Line, suspect defense, and joke of a head coach? Flacco torching us is the least of my worries. The Bills offense trying to do to much to prove the last two weeks have been flukes and giving the Jets short fields on turnovers is more of a worry. When it comes down to it, I am confident this will be a get-right game but as a faithful Bills fan, the worst case scenario is always lurking in the back of my head
  24. They are listed as questionable. Yes, they practiced fully during the week, but that doesn't mean they are 100%. List them as questionable, because it is still entirely possible an injury gets reaggravated during warm ups or something. I think they will likely play, but still realize they are definitely not 100%
