  1. Very concerned with our secondary situation with how many guys are banged up. We should still be fine this week, but need to get right quick for the Pats
  2. I think Tre should be fine to play - probably just sore and giving him time to recoup. Not sure how Norman hurt his hammy when he plays 15 yards off the line, but regardless, his loss would sting.
  3. Spain was the offseason Iron Bills Champion... So don't think the out of shape/bought in angle is why he got released. Probably didn't like getting benched and there was likely some behind the scenes stuff that we do not know about. Sucks, but is what it is. Wish we could have gotten a pick for him but don't want a guy in the locker room that absolutely does not want to be here
  4. Just to be sure, are we comparing Flacco throwing to Mark Andrews, Willie Snead, Crabtree, and John Brown, with a solid offensive line and competent defense and HC to Flacco throwing to Crowder, Hogan, and Perriman with a trash O-Line, suspect defense, and joke of a head coach? Flacco torching us is the least of my worries. The Bills offense trying to do to much to prove the last two weeks have been flukes and giving the Jets short fields on turnovers is more of a worry. When it comes down to it, I am confident this will be a get-right game but as a faithful Bills fan, the worst case scenario is always lurking in the back of my head
  5. what time will the inactive list be announced?
  6. They are listed as questionable. Yes, they practiced fully during the week, but that doesn't mean they are 100%. List them as questionable, because it is still entirely possible an injury gets reaggravated during warm ups or something. I think they will likely play, but still realize they are definitely not 100%
  7. Why? If you or I were in the same shoes and could get 5.5MM for leaving a job, plus negotiate for a couple million more from our new employer we would do it in a heartbeat
  8. Really think its going to be the tale of two halves. While everyone thinks its close in the first half and we pull away due to conditioning in the second, I think its going to be the other way around. I think per usual this season we are going to come out of the gates hot and go up 10-0 or 14-0 quick. TN really hasn't practiced and likely will have to work out a few kinks. They will likely try to establish a run game early, which like last week, I think we sellout to stop. The second half concerns me though. With Tre likely out and Milano definitely out I think Tennessee will make the adjustments and start attacking us with their tight ends over the middle of the field or swing RB out to the flat and dare our CBs and LBs to make a play. Ultimately, I think the Bills pull it out late due to the experience of playing in tight games and the conditioning ultimately being a factor, but it is not going to be a blowout.
  9. Its at times like this where I wish we still had Shaq to prove Lewan is a fake tough guy once again. In all seriousness though, AJ Brown does concern me. The nice thing is they really don't have a WR2 due to Covid. I think you will see a lot of double teams on Brown as well as a focus on Jonnu and just hope whoever is WR2 doesn't have a career game.
  10. Not anymore - he was just placed on IR and we signed Lacy from the PS. Disappointing for sure, he seemed to be trending in the right direction, must have reaggravated something.
  11. If Davis was part of the 15 that worked out (and its tough to believe he wasn't) it only strengthens the strict punishment argument.
  12. Saturday feels very aggressive.... Have everyone continue daily testing. If nothing new pops up by Thursday, proceed with practice. Flex the game until Monday to allow for the lost day of practice for the titans. If new positives pop up, thats a different conversation entirely.
  13. *Patiently waiting for someone to ask "Does this mean Wade gets carries, we need to call him up and see what he can do" or something to that effect*
  14. The fact that we did not protect a LB on the practice squad today makes me believe we will at least see one of them back this weekend
  15. If Miami ends up switching him back to WR, much like we use Isaiah McKenzie, then this move could end up being a great one for them. Reports out of Raiders camp say he was having trouble picking up pass protections, which as a guy that played QB and WR in college, isn't the most shocking thing in the world. He is dangerous with the ball in his hands, and if he keeps his nose clean, I fear he could be dangerous if used correctly in Miami.
  16. Wonder if this has anything to do with DiMarco... One of the common reasons listed as retaining DiMarco is his special teams play. If we continue to add special teams guys, does it open the door to go with the younger Gilliam and cut DiMarco loose?
  17. In other words David Fales and James Morgan shredded the Jets 1st team defense
  18. Can't wait for this episode of Ballers! ?
  19. Per the latest proposal teams would have to be at 80 players to start camp. The Bills currently have a roster comprised of 87 players. I would expect some cut downs to happen soon, any guesses on who? Initial thought is any undrafted guy outside of Trey Adams and Reggie Gilliam have to be in trouble. Also, I am not someone that thinks Wade is going to stick and make the 53, but per the international rules, he still has a 1 year roster exemption, curious if this counts towards the 80?
  20. Definitely understand where you are coming from, but honestly, does the kneel even get noticed at any other point? I would argue a player kneeling during the coin toss or kickoff largely would go unnoticed as players kneel all the time during pregame/gametime and it is seen as normal. Kneeling during the anthem is noticeable, it is a way to ensure that everyone takes notice as it is way out of the norm.
  21. Really doubt it, but, I would LOVE to see the fallout/reaction. Having the draft turn upside down at pick 4 would be so much fun to watch, especially if the Phins have really talked themselves off of Tua.
  22. But from a players perspective is it fair? Lets say the season is canceled and all contracts are frozen. Each player, including Josh is now a year older. Think he would be thrilled being stuck on a rookie deal for potentially 3 more years, when in reality it is supposed to be 2? I am not saying either way would be better or more fair, but you also have to consider how the players would react to their contracts being frozen. My guess is the overall majority would not love it.
  23. I believe the MLB has agreed to match the service time that the player earned in the previous season. In return, owners only have to pay a fraction of the salaries. In essence a win win for both sides. Players get to become free agents as expected and owners don't have to pay out full salaries. If that happens, I find it hard to believe the NFLPA will be cool with putting a "freeze" on players contracts. If the NFL does push for that, I would expect multiple holdouts and contract demands. https://nypost.com/2020/03/27/mlb-union-reach-deal-on-service-time-other-coronavirus-issues/
  24. Cooks is also costing Houston a lot more. I believe he is hovering around $16-17M/per whereas we have Diggs at $11-12/per. So yes, maybe their stats are similar. However, when you take into account injury history, Diggs QB's, and contract value, I am more than happy spending a tad bit more on Diggs.
  25. I would pay good money to see a live-chat with all 32 GMs just like they have in fantasy drafts.... Jerry Jones MF'n other GMs that steal his picks would be gold
