Nothing against Kims qualifications -- i do think she could handle this job. But don't worry if Kim does bad Terry will just fire her right guys??? Some owners are not involved at that level where they are suggesting who the GM should draft, that's just not how most of them are. Most of them leave that stuff to the experts they have hired. Some like Jerry Jones get more involved and it causes problems typically. Robert Kraft got involved recently when he forced the garapolo trade and told belichik to suck it up and deal with Brady for as long as Brady wants. It's not good when stuff like that happens

Agreed that's why I said I actually prefer her on that side of the operations... it's the football stuff they need to steer clear from and they haven't been.

I'd say 75% of hard working Americans could easily handle this job. It's NOT that hard to be an executive and they often make tons of mistakes and in the end get fired or quit just like Russ. Being a garbage man is hard. Single mothers providing for children that is hard. Being an executive of a billion dollar sports complex? That's highly rewarding and honestly easier. They don't actually DO the work, they are just responsible for the results.

Yep. Jerry Jones Esque that's exactly what I said. But I am biased I wanted Rosen and I think Allen was drafted over him for reasons that have little to do with throwing the football. Still, I'm buying an Allen jersey and rooting for success.

Bean was asked directly how involved they were on WGR. He dodged a bit but acknowledged of course they were involved on the future face of the franchise. He downplayed how much and accepted ultimate responsibility for the pick. There is also evidence since they traveled personally with the coaches to meet them. And of course the congratulatory phone call from Kim to Josh where she said she made up her mind after their first visit. It's all anecdotal, but it does support the case. None the less, just a little too involved for my tastes leave the football and the draft to the football guys is how I would prefer it be FWIW maybe those football guys were leaning towards Allen anyways whose to say but again, I prefer some separation there so it's not even a question.

Personally I think the pegulas had more to do with the quarterback we drafted then I would like. Still hopeful/excited for the prospects of our new draft class, but personally I would prefer the pegulas to stay out of it. They remind me of Jerry Jones -- a little too "involved". I hope it works out though.

Brett Favre 52% Wtf is the difference in 5% completion rate that doesn't take into account things like dropped passes??? I mean seriously 5% difference between Rosen and Allen at the collegiate level and it doesn't even account for all reasons (that is to say the 5% difference could be caused by lots of factors). I'm not worried about a 5% completion differential nor do I think college stats translate into the NFL or every RGIII of the world would be a superstar and they are not.

I think you will i was shocked at first too but I've come around a bit. Feeling kind of excited actually just because we targeted a guy and we went and got him. No guarantees but we took a shot and I think that's something everyone has been begging for. It'll look better as we roll into the season at least Rosen went to not the AFC E. I'm not that worried about mr darnold in NYJ but admittedly I would have preferred they landed Allen or mayfield.

Not sure that he plays like Ben but he does have the size... He is a boom or BUST bean has big ones and he is swinging for the fences with this pick. High ceiling with that Arm. I'm getting more excited for this prospect. People say his arm is unreal but he hasn't been surrounded by the best coaches or teammates.

A- Nobody on here knows squat about Allen aside from what they have read from analysts on the internet in Feb/March that dogged on his accuracy and promoted Rosen as the best pure passer. However on Draft day some of these same analysts clearly had Allen rated higher then Rosen -- What? Anyways all this fan rage is absurd. We didn't give "all our capital away" we didn't even give up any future picks in 2019 we actually gave up very little. Two picks in first half of draft for two impressive athletic top rated players, with picks remaining in 3rd, 4th, two 5th, 6th and 7th.... We basically still get a full draft and really just spent our borrowed money.. So to target a high QB prospect and go and get him, and on top of it pull in the best LB in the draft at a position of huge need (LB also one of most important players for McDermotts D)... come on folks. That's a SOLID A for round 1 pull your heads out of your butt holes please.

Agreed 4 in the top 10 was a stretch but it did happen I'm glad we got a guy I'm just not positive I'm glad we got this guy. I wanted Rosen but admittedly that is just based on news articles I've read the past 3 months written by clueless bums.

It was obvious he was high as all get out in the video. Just because the cops didn't find drugs when they arrived doesn't mean that drugs were not consumed before hand. This was not 'normal' behavior. People don't just do stuff like that without drugs being involved. His brothers keeper??? Why was he partying at some down trodden apartment complex with his brother in the first place? His brother doesn't sound like much of a savior to me, sounds like they were up to no good and his brother was clearly involved in some way. It's a shame, for once I wish these young men would appreciate the opportunity in front of them, there are much better ways for Zay to be spending his off season for himself and for his team!
