What was the deal with that reporter on WGR asking McDermot about some nightclub arrest. Seemed like coach might have been caught off guard just a bit. Reporter asked a second time as well.

To me its been pretty obvious Sammy's "head" has as much to do with his troubles on this team as anything else. Are you not reading between the lines?

The bills did get a clear upgrade at the top position of need.

I dont know but the deal last night seemed a lot like thinking for the future. In my opinion, McDermott has the power now.

Its more like guide lines rather then hard fast rules. There is room to wiggle=P We have our QB for this year, and we have needs to address. If we were going to draft high QB we would not have resigned taylor. Nobody pegged us to take a QB in round 1, so I dont understand your expectations

In case you havent figured it out yet id say there is ZERO chance McDermott drafts a guy with character issues.

They did make a commitment to Taylor, perhaps you didnt think they did but this pick should solidify in your mind that for the short term, its taylor. Perhaps next year with their newly acquired number 1 pick they will reach for someone they think is truly worth it.

The truth is Andy Reid is a good coach, but his team is in a position where they can afford to make a high risk move on a potential future they still have their current starter who is one of the most winningest QBs in the NFL behind brady and rodgers. Its not like mahomes has to come in on day 1 and pressure to perform. He can actually develop him in KC and maybe it works out. Bills have already tried reaching recently (EJ) and it didnt pan out. They cant really afford to reach again when they've already made a commitment on Taylor and have many needs to field a solid team. McDermott made the (smart) right move. There is such a thing as "Mutually Beneficial". Also Andy Reid, like the rest of us, never won the one that counts.

I mean he will have larger impact then last years number one =P Marketable improvement IMO. Bills did sign a pretty good safety in FA, did they not?
