  1. Hey @Gene1973 ... is Josh still out of it with 6 losses? With this absolutely atrocious game by Brady tonight it seems this race will come down to 4 players: Josh Allen Jonathan Taylor Aaron Rodgers Tom Brady Taylor is deserving... but a RB... really...? And truthfully the 3 QBs are neck and neck. Sorry bro... as much as you hate it, Josh Allen is still one of the frontrunners
  2. Who cares? Buffalo controls their own destiny to win the division. Just win out. We have the easiest schedule remaining of all the contenders outside maybe New England. Beat them next week and get 2 Ws against 2 struggling teams and we win the division for the 2nd straight year.
  3. The best development to me today is a relevant running game with Singletary. The 2nd best development is the continuing development of Gabriel Davis. We still needed heroics from Allen today, but he didn't quite need to carry the team like normal. The reality here for doubters is that if we beat the Patriots next week and Allen plays really well, he's probably in a very tight 2 or 3 way race for the MVP to finish the season. But obviously all of us would prefer SB MVP over regular season MVP... so let's hope this team just found a little more identity running the football.
  4. Thursday night game it's all passing on 4th down and Herbert fails. Tonight it's QB sneak with Wentz. Gee... anyone shocked it's a success?
  5. Why? Sure looks to me like that's the 1 thing our offense is missing. Draft one in the 2nd round because that seems to be the sweet spot as that's where 3 of the 4 best RBs in the NFL were drafted in Henry, Taylor and Cook. Kamara was drafted at the top of the 3rd. OL round 1. RB round 2.... maybe even trading up to get one. I know nothing about any of these RBs, though. Who do we want? In other words, who is closer to resembling Taylor or Henry rather than Cook or Kamara?
  6. Selfishly I LOVE this! I have this upcoming week off... so now you're tellin me I get 2 football games games on Monday and 2 football games on Tuesday!!!! Sweet!!!
  7. Yes. That's how this works. Buffalo is in a position where they are fighting for the #2-#7 seed. Any of those will do. I like the result of this game because it should set our expectations. We aren't getting the #1 seed. And honestly, I am good with that.
  8. What a disastrous team. Poor Trevor Lawrence. Dude is likely to be the next David Carr.
  9. I also want to post this and direct everyone to minute 47 My only reason is that Chris Simms here breaks down a play that was a sack that I honestly thought was Allen’s fault. But just in slowing down and watching the play from behind, you can clearly see Spencer Brown simply didn't change his blocking assignment after Allen audibled. As I watched I admit to screaming at the TV to Allen asking how he could have missed that. He didn't. He trusted his protection. Interesting microcosm of the complexity of the whole blame game we always play. Also, every time he whiffs like that, Spencer Brown's new nickname is Esther
  10. I get it, but I think McDermott would need to convince all of our offensive linemen that they need to carry Josh off the field once he starts playing.
  11. Great! Josh is playing and sounds like the injury was mild, afterall! Whatever else he's saying here is just lip service because McDermott somehow thinks it's a competitive advantage to have the Panthers also preparing for Trubisky, which they aren't.
  12. Can this happen to Tennessee, New England, Kansas City... basically any AFC team not named Buffalo, Jacksonville, or the Jets.
  13. I've been discouraged, too. But if you have an Elite QB--which we do--anything can happen in the playoffs.
  14. Click on the link. He claims to be the source.
  15. That would be fantastic if true... but who is this guy? And how could he tell whether his foot was wrapped under pants and shoes?
  16. Here's a pretty good image showing the remaining schedules (just ignore Week 14) of many of the remaining teams we're in contention with for the playoffs... namely the Browns, Broncos and Steelers... and here are their schedules: Browns: LV, @ GB, @ Pitt, Cin Broncos: Cin, @ LV, @ LA, KC Pitt: Tenn, @ KC, Cle, @ Bal Throw in the other 2 viable teams: Raiders: @Cle, Den, @ Ind, LA Miami: NYJ, @ NO, @ Tenn, NE Holy cow... just look at that. The Bills will have absolutely no one to blame but themselves if they don't get into the playoffs. I think it's almost a certainty they will just looking at that schedule and looking at the way Buffalo has played against the middling to worst teams in the NFL this year, save Jacksonville. There's no team in the AFC playoff picture with an easier schedule, and I don't think it's particularly close. Miami might be the next easiest. But sheesh... all the AFC playoff contenders are just going to beat up on each other in the next 4 weeks and in many cases it's almost not going to matter who wins for Buffalo's chances because another AFC team in the picture will be knocked out. And the only "meaningless" inter-conference games in there other than our own against Carolina and Atlanta are a game for Miami against NO (probably a Win... and I'm starting to think they're going to sneak into the playoffs, after all), the Titans play the 49ers, and Green Bay can help us with 2 wins against the Browns and Ravens, and the Ravens have another inter-conference game against the Rams. To all of the sudden doubters that Buffalo makes the playoffs this year, you can see above with your own eyes why it's still incredibly likely... even if we lose our lone remaining game against a real contender in the Patriots. Buffalo has beaten up pretty well on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th tier teams this year (again, minus the Jags), so I strongly believe we'll be in the playoffs, and I also think we could very well beat the Patriots in normal weather conditions and take the division and potentially still even the #1 seed. Crazy stuff with how I was feeling after that loss on Sunday.
  17. Did it show the heart of the team or what we hope the heart of this team is?
  18. See what I really want to know is what McDermott's influence was on our defensive turnaround. Everyone saw McDermott talking to Frazier on the sideline as we were getting gashed. Even Romo and Nantz noticed it and were talking about it. So what were the adjustments we made? Did McDermott tell Frazier to make all these adjustments? This is what I'd like to know.
  19. I find this bizarre, too. The only explanation I can think of is that they don't trust him because of ball security issues. But he's generally an effective back we should be able to rely on for 10-15 carries every game.
  20. This is good because it forces us to play Davis more. Sanders has been good this year, but he's played at the expense of developing Gabe Davis, who I think will be at least a really good #2 WR for us long term.
