  1. Matt Ryan won it in 2016 on an 11-5 Atlanta team. If Buffalo loses 2 more, he's not getting it. With the added game this season and with general mediocrity across the NFL, he can afford to go 4-1 and still be very much in the running. And contrary to what you said earlier, Brady doesn't need to fall apart. Right now Josh has 200 fewer total yards and 6 TDs fewer than him. They also have the same number of Turnovers. He's not that far behind the GOAT right now. And if Buffalo wins in a head to head matchup this weekend and Josh plays well, that probably goes a long way for him.
  2. Singletary would be a good #2 RB. We need a #1
  3. Yes we'd win the tiebreaker if we lose to TB and win out because we'd have a better divisional record. They lost to Miami early this year.
  4. Do you not see how ridiculous and contradictory your logic is? On the one hand, you're saying that when we beat the 2-2 Kansas City Chiefs who will end up with a winning record at the end of the year, but they were a different team. For that matter, I'd throw in the Miami Dolphins and Washington Football Team (sorry guys... I called them the Redskins before) who I think will end up with winning records at the end of the year. And we CRUSHED both teams... the Dolphins twice. But those teams we crushed were different teams than they are now. Okay... perhaps I can see that logic. And yet, the Bills are static and can not change or turn a corner or go on a winning streak with 5 games left?
  5. Tailspin? Stop being ridiculous. We're in a win one lose one pattern. We just lost one after utterly dominating another team which was after losing one which was after utterly dominating another team which was after... well... you get it. 5 games left we're due 3 more wins by the logic of your tailspin. Who says we'll be "in the hunt" at the end of the year? The team with the most wins this year so far won multiple games without their supposed MVP. After them the Bills are 2 games within every team. 4-1 would do it What reality?
  6. Any news on Feliciano?
  7. Getting down by a couple scores wouldn't be ideal, but even though Allen doesn't have the GWDs and 4QCs this year, he's shown he's more than capable of bringing Buffalo back from deficits in the past. It's not like he's Lamar Jackson
  8. Likely? You're saying this team will likely lose more games than they win to end the year. That's a pretty damn big IF that you're projecting onto a team that's been inconsistent but still pretty clearly is capable of winning a game against just about anybody. Maybe it's time for you to take a break from this thread. It's clearly distressing you.
  9. What record? 5 losses? Best record in the NFL is the Cardinals and Kyler Murray ain't winning MVP because of missed games and the team still winning. Bills beat Bucs this weekend and Josh is 1 loss behind Brady. You're right... if we have this record at the end of the year, Josh won't win. Fortunately there are still 5 games.
  10. And none of those guys can objectively be considered so far ahead of Allen that Allen can't leapfrog them in the next 2-3 games. If we beat the Bucs on Sunday on Allen’s arm, he jumps right back to the front of this conversation with Brady.
  11. I don't have to take logic far at all. Diggs was turned around and looking at that ball for a significant enough amount of time that he should have caught it. You're going in a ridiculous direction at this point. My guess is you'll blame Knox's 2 drops on Allen because Allen threw the ball too hard
  12. Or how about a few more @VW82 scroll to minute 4:30 in the highlights. At 5:30 left in the first half going against the wind Josh has a 3rd and 19 from the 50 and throws an on target throw to Knox at the 20... at the very least at the fringe of a FG attempt even in that wind. DROP. Or 6:30 into the video on a 3rd down Allen rolls right and throws a catchable ball to Beas to get inside the 10. And just rewatch that pass on 3rd and long to Knox. All he has to do is come back for the ball so that the defender can't even make a play on the ball. And even with the defender making the play, he still could have caught it. Knox's first drive-killing drop isn't even in there.
  13. It's a drop. Diggs was turned around for awhile... it's not like he had to turn at the last minute. That was a pass that was as much in his bucket as you could have gotten on that night. I bet Diggs would tell you he should have caught it.
  14. I'm alleging that you're claiming there were no easy throws sprinkled in when there were... ala Knox's first drop.
  15. We did have those throws... but they were dropped. These are NFL WRs and TEs paid millions to catch the ball... so CATCH THE DAMN BALL!!! Or catch the damn game winner!!!
  16. Yes. That was another of the 5 passes I was thinking of that were dropped. Also Knox dropped 2 and just got outmuscled in the EZ for what should have been a TD to win the game. What Josh did in this game was pretty amazing. So much went wrong for Buffalo in that game that doesn't normally go wrong (Bass missing a chip shot FG that would have made it so we only needed a FG rather than a TD to win it) that the game itself doesn't make me feel worse about Buffalo as a team. However, I still truly wish Daboll called more--more than ZERO--designed runs for Allen.
  17. It's a ball Diggs normally catches. And that was a money throw by Josh. There were at least 5 drops in that game. If only half of those are caught, Bills win. Heck... if Diggs makes that catch that he normally makes, Bills win. I'm over my Pats hangover. I feel pretty good going into our week 16 matchup given that conditions won't be those once in a decade conditions for an NFL game.
  18. The more I watch this play the more I just want to call it a drop, plain and simple. Diggs adjusted by turning around plenty early to have time to make that catch. And he normally makes it. Man I wish he did
  19. Isn't there a practice today? No updates or PCs?
  20. If we cut our drops in half last night (there were probably 5 or 6) we win that game. Knox dropped 2 and got outmuscled for one in the EZ. Diggs dropped that INCREDIBLE long TD pass from Allen that was as on-the-money as you could be in that weather (yes... I call that a drop because I think that's a catch Diggs would typically make... difficult but catchable). Beasley dropped one. Sanders saw one go off his hands. It just got ridiculous last night. In retrospect Allen was spectacular given the weather conditions. The problem was his OC didn't bother tapping into the aspect of his game that was the most obvious thing to use and probably would have further ensured us of a W: Josh's legs. Not a single designed QB run in those weather conditions is just criminal. Allen is fantastic but I want to see him reach a point mentally where he's like Manning or Kelly and is allowed to call ALL his own plays on the field. I know it wouldn't be perfect, but I don't think I'd ever call him a coward... and we had some cowardly coaching yesterday.
  21. I agree with this... but think what needs to be added is that last night our best player should have had a bunch of designed runs mixed in.
  22. Now you're just being silly. Buffalo doesn't do well in horrible weather games because of coaching and not being able to run and not being able to stop the run. Get us in a warm weather, dome, or not so terrible weather game and we stand a better shot than a home game with 50 mph wind gusts against the likes of NE, TN (with Henry), or the Colts. Stop being so hyperbolic as you build up ridiculous straw mans
