  1. Knox. Pretty clear Allen has missed his best friend for the last few weeks and the Jets are pretty weak in covering Tight Ends through the year and fairly good against WRs. I'd say Motor because they're pretty bad against RBs and obviously Motor will be the featured back... but I've lost all confidence in our RBs in the running game. I'd love to see Gilliam get in there in front of Singletary to help the run game.
  2. Agreed. This is why I generally don't participate in those "predict the score" threads. It's often like a blind man throwing at a dart board. Yes, there are absolutely games certain teams should win--Buffalo should have beaten the Jags last week... the Ravens should have beaten the 'Phins last night--but that's why you play the games on Sunday... and that's the beauty of the NFL. (And good god then you have those absolutely moronic threads like how much playing time Trubisky should get against Jacksonville ) It's truly any given Sunday and on any given Sunday any given team can win even if it's a superior team playing "one of the worst teams in the league." There's a mental part of these games that's not played on paper where you get measurables and statistical outputs during the season. That's why I was so disappointed last week. I thought this team was one of the most mentally tough teams in the NFL. Last weekend proved they still have a ways to go.
  3. I never said Lamar is a better MVP candidate than Allen. You have a reading comprehension problem. Because of that along with your love disguised as hatred for me, feel free to use the ignore button. I mean if your going to jump in and comment on everything I say... at least have the decency to actually know what I say.
  4. Bruh... it's time you go find some lovin you seem to be lacking. I don't understand why you're stalking me, but as flattered as I am, I'm taken.
  5. Tonight is NOT the only reason for this opinion as I think even before tonight Jackson has been overrated for this season... That said, I disagree
  6. You must've been typing this up as I finished posting a thread on this article. All good. I just deleted my thread so there aren't 2 of the same on the front page Let's hope the late game tendency of sort of figuring out how to beat that defense continues moving forward.
  7. Can we get Gilliam in there at FB please? Why is he even on the roster?
  8. Even after that stinker... you're both wrong https://theathletic.com/news/buccaneers-tom-brady-bills-josh-allen-nfl-mvp-favorites/ozXD5sfdcmzH/ Buccaneers' Tom Brady, Bills' Josh Allen tied as NFL MVP favorites, via BetMGM The Buccaneers’ Tom Brady and the Bills’ Josh Allen are the betting favorites to win the NFL MVP award after Week 9, according to BetMGM. The quarterbacks are tied atop the betting board at +350. Allen led the odds after Week 8. Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray sits third (+500) after missing Arizona’s Week 9 win over the 49ers with an injury. This cluster of quarterbacks follows Murray: the Rams’ Matthew Stafford (+750), the Cowboys’ Dak Prescott (+900), the Packers’ Aaron Rodgers (+900), the Ravens’ Lamar Jackson (+1100), the Chargers’ Justin Herbert (+1600). The Bills, despite losing in Week 9 to Jacksonville, remain the betting favorites to win Super Bowl LVI. Their lead has slipped a touch from last week as the Bills stand at +550. You seem so angry all the time now. You gettin enough love at home? You can always choose to say nothing, but you just love pointing angry fingers. I'm sorry things suck for you so much that you have to do that. Hope your life gets better.
  9. I believe Manny Sanders is a better WR than Brown and is an overall upgrade, but it seems we're missing that WR that can really stretch the field. And I understand that defenses are playing the Bills differently with the whole Cover 2 shell basically forcing us into a short passing game. But without a true deep threat on the field at all times like Brown, that shell seems to get tighter and tighter. Against the Jags the only time we really got the ball down the field was when Allen stretched the play running for his life and found an open WR out of the original context of the play. Within the structure of the plays, it was CONSTANT short passes to Singletary and Beas for trivial yardage. I don't know what the answer is here because I'm not advocating bringing Smoke back even if he's available. And maybe the answer isn't a speed WR it's just ANOTHER great weapon (although Brown wasn't a great weapon), which could be resolved once Knox is back and healthy--hopefully this week. Maybe we should legitimately kick the tires on Beckam. I think Allen would do a better job getting him the ball. Maybe try McKenzie or Stevenson on the outside? I just think in the last couple weeks it's becoming clear that outside of Diggs we really don't have any explosive capability on offense and Allen is understandably resorting to Hero ball because of it.
  10. Bates at Center. That's what I want to see. Probably next year
  11. I said this towards the end of the year last year going into the playoffs. I thought that McKenzie motion was a staple of the offense that just kinda went away and I didn't understand why. It's like Daboll's just let go of his creativity.
  12. Before this week we had the #1 scoring offense. From a distance, Daboll is still a very appealing candidate and unless we repeat what we did yesterday a bunch of times, I think he'll end up a HC.
  13. Daboll isn't terrible and he'll probably be a head coach next year, but I do think he's overrated. I just think he's too inconsistent and it takes too long for him to make adjustments. We clearly need to put a FB in there to help the running game and we never do it. Why did we even keep a FB on the roster? What a waste of a spot. I expect a bounce back next week, but yes, Daboll was a big problem yesterday.
  14. Wait... have you seen the film? Did we have tons of WRs running open underneath on most plays? I remember Allen checking down short multiple times and our WRs and RBs gaining very few yards after the catch. Beasley's first 7 catches were for less than 30 yards. Doesn't that alone negate your premise?
  15. Tim Graham agrees with you https://theathletic.com/2941256/2021/11/07/graham-josh-allen-isnt-to-blame-for-the-bills-ghastly-performance-in-jacksonville?source=user-shared-article But the Bills lost 9-6 to the Jaguars not because of Josh Allen. Yes, he gave away the ball three — almost four — times in the second half. Yes, he posted a 62.7 passer rating. Yes, it was against a laughingstock opponent. “Played like *****,” Allen said hoarsely. “Excuse my language, but that starts with me. So I’ve got to be better for this team.” Taking the heat is what a leader does, but Allen surviving every offensive snap was an accomplishment worthy of consideration, a true feat MVP voters won’t see without looking deeper than his lousy stat line. Some are saying Allen reverted to the reckless “hero ball” ways common through his first couple of seasons. Fact is, Allen had little choice but to try it himself. He wasn’t getting much help.
  16. As I said... I HATE threads like this! BOOOOOOOO!!!!
  17. This thread is probably the reason Trubisky got Covid
  18. This is a scary night to go to sleep... it's like anti-Christmas. I wake up with either a pleasant or unpleasant surprise. Unpleasant is obviously that Josh is out and confirmation that he's unvaxxed becomes pretty solid. Pleasant would be Josh being able to play. Pleasant for the obvious reason that I love watching Josh Allen play football. But also pleasant because it would pretty solidly confirm what I suspected since the Summer: despite his initial hesitancy, Josh did the best thing for the team and got vaccinated. And to be clear, I still think we could and probably should win even if Webb starts.
  19. Really interesting and thorough interview with Cossell. He starts talking about the Jags but then moves into a discussion about Josh for a good bit. He emphasizes that not only does he believe that Josh is the most physically gifted QB in the NFL, he actually thinks Josh is becoming the best QB in the NFL. And he points to last weekend's game against Miami as an example of one of Josh's best games according to the film.
  20. I don't even participate in "predict the score" threads because I feel the same way about them, to a lesser degree. But at least "predict the score" threads leave room for the possibility of a loss. Your thread doesn't even suggest that there's a possibility we lose--which we might... it's the NFL, afterall--and also suggests we'll inevitably blow the Jags out. Hope it happens. Probably could happen. But it might not. But this is the NFL... give me a W.
  21. So the majority of poll takers agree with me. Trubisky comes in well into the 4th quarter. And remember, all of this is assuming we're blowing the Jags out. I hate threads like this that put the cart before the horse. Let's just make sure we get a W, please.
  22. Well... is it a violation to do pressers unmasked if you're unvaccinated? If it is, there's been incredibly negligence on the league's part.
  23. Beas is unvaccinated and is doing in-person unmasked PCs. I don't think it's a rule that unvaxxed players need to wear masks in front of the media... if it is, everyone's turning a blind eye to it.
  24. Dude... this isn't the freakin preseason!!! If we're up by more than 3 scores 4 or 5 minutes left in the game is the ONLY time you want to see him, and it's not inevitable that we win by more than 3 scores. This is the NFL... it's possible this game is close for awhile.
  25. What is the "stuff" you're talking about? I always thought one of them was supposed to be an unvaccinated player needs to wear a mask in Press Conferences or do it via Zoom, but we all have seen Beasely do PCs maskless, including the other day.
