Nathan Peterman to Start this Week.

Pure speculation, but I think Dennison came up to McDermott on Monday and expressed his desire for the QB change. Did anyone watch Dennison's PC on Monday? In retrospect, I thought it was interesting the way he talked about what transpired for him the night after the game. He said he called OL coach Waffle in the middle of the night to talk about OL blocking solutions, which is not something he would normally do... at least not in the middle of the night right after the game. But he said he wasn't going to sleep anyway. I think Mcdermott is a really hands off guy when it comes to the offense. More than I thought he might've been. He planned on starting Taylor moving forward Sunday and even Monday, but had a conversation and a lengthy one with Dennison on Monday and went with his OC. -
I guess it's just easy to pile on the team and Taylor here? Vic's take seems pretty damn obvious and logical. Taylor played just atrociously on Sunday and with a couple other showings similar to that this year combined with no really great showings, McBeane had seen enough to know Taylor wasn't the future at the position and they wanted to see a guy who just might be the future. He's just too inconsistent and doesn't play at a high enough level on his best days to warrant anymore time wasted seeing if he could be our future. With the Bills schedule to close the season, they could have made the playoffs with Taylor at the helm. But we likely wouldn't have made any noise in the playoffs and then Taylor would have been the 1st QB since Flutie to lead the team to the playoffs. Completely logical take by Vic. It's probably true to some extent. Shooting for the stars and the future with Peterman or plummet to a higher draft choice with him as we realize he's likely not the future and, at the very least, needs some serious competition in the form of a 1st or 2nd round draft choice. It's a good move for the Bills future, even if it might hurt the team this year. It might really help the team this year, though, and I think that's what we're all really hoping for

Nice post. Getting excited about Sunday. -
Bills will likely be thin at RB in Sunday

Good god please let Tolbert be out!!! He sucks! Put the guy we just acquired last week or the week before in! -
I'm just tired. I agree with you. This is Win-Win for McBeane. He's good or great: Possible Franchise QB considering a rookie and room for improvement He sucks: We know to draft a QB high. And we have the capital to do it. I'm just so sick of our season being over by the beginning of December or Thanksgiving. Please let it be the former, not the latter... though I still think we draft a QB high even if it's the former.

McCoy sounds very unhappy about the switch
transplantbillsfan replied to ProcessTheTrust's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Totally disagree. Watched the PC. He's surprised but you make it seem like he's about to stop trying. Sounds like a guy who's about to go out and fight with his new QB. -
Get used to seeing this

Thanks for this video. Love it. He and Jones seemed connected so I hope that picks up where it left off. I expect Peterman to play pretty well this week, actually. I just hope he's able to keep it up whenever the film is out on him after a few games. Hopefully we've clinched a playoff spot if that does happen -
The Leaks Have Ended

Very true. Time to stop believing anything McDermott says. And I'm perfectly fine with that. -

I just saw this. I'm here and good, bro I like Tyrod, but I'm a Bills fan. Taylor and the entire team were just awful on Sunday. I like this move because (I hope) McDermott views this as a necessary shot in the arm for a team still in playoff contention. But everyone who wanted Tyrod out wins. Good for you guys!!! #prayingforPeterman -
[Please Change Title] if peterman is decent
transplantbillsfan replied to nuklz2594's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Tyrod is done in Buffalo no matter how Peterman plays. This move is clearly THE signal that our future at QB is either Peterman or whatever guy we're inevitably going to draft in the 1st or 2nd round next year, but more likely the 1st. Picking up Tyrod's option next year just doesn't make any financial sense for the team if he's the backup. -
Bills @ Chargers TBD Roll Call

This was honestly a game my buddies and I planned on going to during the Summer since I live in Hawai'i and it woulda been a "meet halfway" game. In the end, I just couldn't swing it financially. I really wish I were going, though. Peterman's first start combined with the unique venue should make for a really fun time. -
Nice Stranger Things reference Just started Season 2 last night.

Sal C on WGR about QB position 2018
transplantbillsfan replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I liked reading through the first page to try to figure out at what point the announcement was made. It happened here, clearly Tyrod is going to be gone in the offseason and McBeane will now have to draft a QB very high, regardless of how Peterman plays the rest of the season. Let Peterman and the other QB compete and may the best man win. But this season went on life support after one of the worst losses I've ever seen and I guess McDermott felt this team needed a shot in the arm. Clear move we're continuing to shoot for the playoffs, even if Peterman doesn't live up to the expectations a lot of people seem to have for him. -
I really don't understand why the hell Milano didn't keep his job. He was fantastic in the 2 games he started!
-
Taylor's worst game was Sunday, so I don't think anyone can be absolutely shocked by this. God I hope Peterman is good. I'm so sick of this team sucking. This is the 15th QB the Bills have now started in the Brady era

And that sword has always swung both ways. I've never pretended I'm guilt free. I know what I dish out. I'm not hiding. I'm right here. I'm sorry I ever offended you. I was wrong so adamantly defending Tyrod as a capable QB. Is there anything else you would like me to say? -

Nothin but love here for everyone inevitably salivating to get their pound of flesh from me. No worries. I've rooted hard for every single QB in a Bills uniform since Kelly. I'm a Bills homer, period. -
Boldest move since benching Flutie

Why?! Why say this?! That was such a terrible move! Let's hope this isn't! -

You mean the one I lost to Wayne Arnold? Yeah I remember. I already PMed him. I embrace my defeat. I definitely don't root against players so I can't wait to see what the kid does. Been too long sans playoffs. -
