  1. Some "Black Mirror" episodes are fantastic (Nosedive, White Christmas, USS Callister), but there are others that are just awful. The National Anthem is like the worst start to a series ever. I don't consider myself a prude at all, but there was just something in that episode that was completely unnecessary and repulsive. That said, honestly, other than that episode I think most are at least watchable, if not really good. Though I still haven't gotten around to "The Waldo Moment" or "Hated in the Nation," yet. Jon Bernthal is just so damn perfect in the role. I hope they make a season 3 just because he's awesome. I liked him on The Walking Dead, too. I don't know why anyone would dislike the 2nd season of The Punisher. It's just what it's supposed to be, and the actor in the role couldn't be better.
  2. I dunno. Jackson has a delivery that really reminds me of Tebow. He's going to last a lot longer than Tebow because he's just so much more athletic, but I just think there's a lot of work to be done on his upper body mechanics, which are just awkward. But who knows, he's been getting away with it because of his athleticism for so long. It could last another 5-10 years.
  3. I thought the Cardinals were trying to give Rosen guys who could catch?
  4. No. Your previous complaint about my catchable vs. uncatchable pass % for Allen and the other 2019 rookies when you said If you'd broken it down, giving totals for each game for instance, it would've been easy for someone on these boards to check a game or two and see if your per game totals were on target. But as is your method, you don't provide details - no gross numbers, no game by game breakdowns, no nothing except your percentage conclusions - making checks all but impossible. Thanks for the effort. If you'd given a reasonable chance to check, I'd have done so. But you never do, though I've asked before and it wouldn't have required much extra effort. It's not surprising you're not now. Which leaves no choice but to point out that as you yourself point out, you're a huge Josh Allen fan and you're disagreeing with everyone else who did the work. Their work is just more believable, as they don't much care how the tallies come out. I genuinely thought you'd give it a try. Since then, I've added Watson and Wentz Allen remains #2 out of 7 other QBs in terms of throwing passes that are catchable after you exclude throwaways. Tyrod? What the hell are you bringing Tyrod up for? You obsessed with him or something? You write like 4 paragraphs on the original topic of accuracy, all of which I was disagreeing with and it had been talked to death in the thread I referred to right above, which was why I responded with a simple "nope." Yet, you assume I'm referring to the 7 irrelevant words you throw in at the end? You obsessed with Tyrod or something...?
  5. The last week has been cold because of a rare Kona low weather system. The other day it was only 70 decrees at noon. I actually got a cold for the first time from the weather... probably doesn't help that I surfed for 6 hours in it, though.
  6. Soooo... you just felt like chiming in with an irrelevant comment? You and Foxx must be super tight.
  7. It's actually a different kind of eyeball test here with regard for Allen we're talking about... a more objective one than the wildly subjective "he just looks the part." That said, he looks the part, too. I'm surprised you're so steadfast in your pre-draft feelings on Allen. How much did you know about Allen before the draft? How much did you watch of him playing? The biggest reason I did such a 180 on him in the days following the draft is because I took the time I hadn't taken before the draft researching him and watching him play as much as possible. I freely admit my feelings on Allen were almost entirely formed on analytics and history. I just didn't honestly think we'd draft him, so I didn't bother really doing a deep dive. Then we did, and I was furious. Obviously I got over it and understand completely the trade up to 7 to get him and feel it was warranted, so much so that I wish we just gave him the reins right away back in training camp. And then the season happened and Allen so often looked like Atlas holding the weight of the offense on his shoulders. And he looked like he was throwing the ball where he wanted it to go a lot more consistently than I was reading and hearing in the national media and somewhat here. And that's why I did the study. I wish skeptics like you and Thurm and Cornellius would bother trying yourself to see how wildly your numbers disagree with mine, since that's what you guys seem to assume.
  8. I know what PFF did. I even cite it in the OP. I did my own study that's been going on since season's end and covered every single pass of 7 highly regarded rookie QBs, past and present. And my own findings are simply this: If Josh Allen was inaccurate as a rookie, so we're those 6 other QBs I looked at, and Rosen and Wentz (after his 1st 4 games) were very inaccurate.
  9. We only have one TE in Croom on our roster right now. I gotta believe we'll trade back from 9 and use one of (hopefully) 2 1st round picks to draft Hockenson or Fant.
  10. Those numbers I gave are solely on scrambles. AKA runs on passing plays. No designed runs in there.
  11. And it seems each and every one of the remaining players is/has been integral to McBeane's plans. Claims Shady will stay. Lorax & Ferguson extension. Talking Shaq up. Hughes is a wrecking ball and better be extended. Crazy.
  12. Meant to highlight that first line alone. My bad. Sorry bud... but nope. Still waiting for you to cross reference like you claimed you wanted to.
  13. Haven't separated them myself. Rather than guess, go through and tell us. I know I'd be very interested.
  14. Glad we can agree on something. Maybe you're conflating accuracy with precision. You might be. Good discussion and explanation distinguishing the 2 for you over here:
  15. Even with the best OL in the world, designed runs ask for your QB to get hit.
  16. Only if you're you fill in the blank I don't want to get in trouble. The title and OP said exactly what I intended. Keep scrambles and short yardage runs, eliminate the rest. If you struggled to understand that, seek help elsewhere. Seems like most people understand the obvious, actually. It's just the nurturer in me that can't leave behind those struggling to comprehend, much like the lover in you just can't quit me
  17. Go back to the Titans game and find the highlight of Allen's interception in that game, come back, and let's talk more about the stats you're so obsessed with. NFL Next Gen stats has an interesting metric called Aggressiveness % that I actually referenced in the OP. Since I'm sure you didn't see it, here's the link: https://nextgenstats.nfl.com/stats/passing#aggressiveness Aggressiveness (AGG%) Aggressiveness tracks the amount of passing attempts a quarterback makes that are into tight coverage, where there is a defender within 1 yard or less of the receiver at the time of completion or incompletion. AGG is shown as a % of attempts into tight windows over all passing attempts. Allen is 29th... one of the least aggressive QBs in the NFL. Notice who the rookies are in the top 5. And that absolutely jives with my numbers, what I saw, and the statement you just ignorantly labelled a lie.
  18. Why? The title specifies designed runs that we need to get rid of. To me, it's clear that specifying the idea of getting rid of "designed runs" rather than "all QB runs" implies I want to keep certain types of QB runs, which I specify in the OP. The title is only misleading if that's all you read and you--for whatever odd and deluded reason--believe that all QB runs are designed by the OC, who I name.
  19. No. No I didn't. Do you understand the difference between designed runs and scrambles?
  20. Now that we cut Clay, I really think Beane is gonna trade back into the 1st so we can draft a solid TE and OT in the 1st. I know little about college as I don't follow it... so Fant or Hockenson?
  21. Only found a couple videos, but this was a laugh
  22. It's weird that there are some in this thread who are thinking I'm saying Allen should never run. Is it that we just read titles and respond to those alone or that we struggle with reading comprehension? To be very, very clear: I still want to see Allen running in 2019 and beyond, but only on passing plays. How could you NOT want a guy who's gaining over 11 yards per carry on those such plays running?! With the exception only of short yardage situations (3rd & 4th down and goal line instances) there's absolutely no reason for Daboll to put Allen in a designed run situation.
  23. What is? Did you actually read or did you just look at the title and respond?
  24. You can assure me because you actually bothered looking or you just feel like providing assurances? I can't assure you of this because I haven't looked for plays where he ran an RPO on a random 2nd down, but I'll make a friendly wager with you that he's significantly less than 10 YPC on those plays when it happens.
