I assume Josh will speak to the media at some point this week. Curious what he says about the Diggs trade, doubt we'll get a full honest answer though

Bills Coverage Stuff that is Making me Grit my Teeth
Steptide replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
Couple things - I've never heard about Mahomes off season workouts. I know he has 2 rings, but still never heard about them. I'd honestly be a bit surprised if Allen didn't have some kind of off season workouts with the new guys that have been brought in. Not just the wr's, but we have a new center too, which is a pretty important position for Allen to succeed I thought in the first half of last season, Allen was forcing the ball to diggs too much. Obviously Diggs had some really good numbers, so it wasn't necessarily bad, but I think about how both Diggs and Shakir, and maybe even Gabe, could've been more effective. Though, our 5-5 record isn't completely on the offense. The defense had some massive blunders (1st Patriots game) -
Didn't see the whole game, but saw the last drive. Pretty nice finish Been saying it for years now, but they have to change the rules for the UFL. I'd eliminate running completely and maybe even punts. Each team gets 4 downs, if they don't get a first, ball goes to the other team. They have to do something to make these games entertaining. At the very least, shorten the quarters. You can't expect these games to be anywhere near nfl level, yet they play with almost all the same rules.

Impossible until we see what happens in the future with all this

In beane I trust. Gotta believe he has a master plan. I feel like we do this alot. I love Diggs, but if it makes our team better, I'm all for it

2024 Solar Eclipse. April 8, 2024. App. 3:15-3:30 pm in Buffalo
Steptide replied to Walking Tall's topic in Off the Wall
I work outside and my job requires me to go house to house. My employer is not closing and I typically drive 490/590/104 for work everyday through out the day. It's gonna be an absolute nightmare -

I know I'm in the minority, but I am amazed at the excitement for this. I watch the local news almost daily and they have mentioned it every single day for what seems like a year. I get it, it's a once in a life thing, I just don't get the fascination. It's gonna last a few minutes. I just don't get the appeal. Rochester is expecting like 150k tourists. Seems absolutely crazy to me, but what do I know -
Only 35. Not that it's any better, but I thought for some reason he was older. Him being on the bills seems like 10 years ago.
-
Maybe. Syracuse was wildly inconsistent this year. What NC state has done is incredible. Don't think anyone's beating UConn though, they look like an NBA team
-
NC state. Holy cow. And some of us were mad that they beat cuse in the acc tournament 😂

There's Football On! - The Inaugural Game of the UFL Starts Now

They really need to get rid of running the ball in this league. Actually, I'd get rid of punting too, just turn over on downs if an offense can't score or get a 1st down -
Still blows my mind the bills defense was defending the sidelines when kc had 3 timeouts left. Like Wtf?

DeShawn Williams (DT) Expected To Sign With Bills

Did the bills ever officially announce signing the o line guy from the Chargers? -
Tre White to the Rams - 1 year deal, $8M up to $10M
Steptide replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Glad for him, really wish we could've gotten him back though on a fair deal -
Something is only worth what people will pay for it. If people will pay 20-50k, good on them. If not, those prices will drop really quick. Pegula just better hope this team is still good come 2026/27. People arnt gonna pay these prices with a crap product. This isn't 2007. We long held super low ticket prices, and that definitely helped the fan base keep coming to games.

Bills Titans 1999 playoff game on air today 1230
Steptide replied to davefan66's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nfl network has been showing alot of heart breaking bills losses lately. Music city miracle, Vikings game from 2022 and Arizona game from 2020. Surprised they're not killing us with 13 seconds -
Anyone else feeling pretty good with the Bills?
Steptide replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
No matter what happens in the draft, im sticking with my theory that the bills offense needs to be better than their defense. We need an offense that just scores drive after drive. We also need an offense (much like kc) that regardless how much they're down, they can come right back and win. Kc has done this since Mahomes took over. It's how they always win. As soon as a team thinks they got em, well, they don't -
Damar Hamlin Writes about 2023's Nicest Place in America
Steptide replied to I Remember's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's definitely on TV way too much. Don't even get me started on the jardiance pill commercial. "the little pill with a big story to tell". At least they switched it up from the original commercial but good lord, shoot me -

Follow your heart to vision bro -
I'm honestly surprised they haven't addressed special teams really at all. They signed haack again but no changes in coordinator. Maybe they'll draft a punter

We've won the offseason!

If he ends up being really good are we gonna call him the governor? 😉

A bit off topic, but my mom passed about 3.5 years ago. I don't have any super natural story. She was doing home hospice, and then went into a facility when she could no longer take the pain. She was in a facility for 4 days before she died. This was at The height of covid and Ofcourse they had a bunch of stupid restrictions. The day my mom died (her 4th day) I was there with my dad, wife and my daughter. It was blazing hot out (we could only be inside for a limited time due to restrictions 🙄). My dad decided to go home cuz of the heat and he had basically lived there the past 4 days. Within an hr they called and said my mom passed. It was devastating to my dad that he wasn't there and to this day I absolutely hate it. 53 years they were married and he wasn't there. I apologize, didn't mean to be Debbie downer, and I'm not blaming anyone. The topic just brought up some old feelings. I am very grateful though that me and my wife went in to see her hours before she passed.
