You are 100% correct- it is a proven fact blacks are penalized harder than whites, no question... So then I think back to a quote from Denzel Washington, while he was being interviewed for the movie, Fences...he basically said: we all know the system is rigged, so let’s not make easier for the system. (Essentually, if the black man didn’t have the crack on him to begin with, getting more time than a white man wouldn’t even be an issue.) The point being, even though life isn’t always fair, it still, usually comes down to OUR OWN decisions. ?

I’m not sure about that...we have sooo many welfare programs and government subsidies for housing...don’t know that I would call that punishing the poor...personal behavior and culture still plays the largest part in poverty, in my book...I’m living proof of that... Welfare certainly helped my family til we got our crap together, but you’re not going to get anywhere staying on that- it’s just to keep you afloat so you don’t drown...but it is up to the individual to further advance themselves if they want to get ahead imo... and there are endless opportunities in this country...?

Race relations is the worst it has ever been in my lifetime...we have regressed so far and I feel like there is zero trust...it absolutely sucks walking into a store and seeing the fear in people’s eyes- like I’m going to burn everything down...I hate identity politics to the core! I hear ya, man...with everything going on, I’m not really interested in this season as well...just feels like it’s glorified exhibition games or a year long training camp to get ready for 2021....which serves a purpose, I suppose...my biggest concern was that, even though it’s not a normal season, I just didn’t want Allen missing out on much needed reps...that’s really all I care about with this season- just keep improving for next year...don’t even care about their record...I doubt the victors of this season will be taken too seriously anyway...but who knows?
