I apologize if my post wasn’t more clear...BigBillsFan’s post referenced Manning’s first and second season accomplishments...which is what I was trying to compare with JA-...26 games in...no 300 yard games or 3500 yard season or 4/5 td games...that would include garbage time and overtime games in both seasons...and that was the sad part... You would think that a top 10 quarterback would be able to “stumble” into that at least once or twice in 26 games...right?

You mean the facts that JA is still a bottom of the league passer 2 seasons in? Don’t worry, I don’t think there is any way to get confused about that....?

You laugh but the sad part is Josh can’t even get 300 yards in garbage time... BigBillsFan makes the point that even though rookie and 2nd year QBs make mistakes, you still see glimpses of greatness as passers (300 yard games, 3500 yds+ per season, 4/5 TD games)...you don’t see that with Josh... Josh’s best is still “scraping the bottom of the barrel“ of the league...people say he is raw yet he’s been playing his whole life... even in the over time game, Josh wasn’t close to 300 even when they tried passing on almost every play in the extra quarter... To say it’s a little concerning 2 seasons in is an understatement...

This is sad...fingers crossed that Daboll can create an offense that will help Josh become a more efficient passer...there is no reason that, in today’s game, that any QB should be under 60% completions imo...

well, you want your QB to be a top talent, so I would rather see a comparison against an elite QB at a similar stage in their career rather than a guy who was benched....

Comparing players is what fans do, and is the only way to tell if they are good or not...this will continue until Josh proves himself- and possibly even the rest of his career...

While it’s interesting to think about, I am glad the Bills were nowhere near the super bowl this year- as they would likely lose if they got there- which would have been even more humiliating to fans... When the Bills finally do return to the big game I want them to be so dominant that fans know they have good shot at winning...this was not that year imo...

Such an uninspired performance...at least the Bills showed heart in their loss...
