  1. Reed wasn't half the player Diggs is.
  2. I thought this looked like a rebuild year before this trade and now it's 100% confirmed. Absolutely insane roster mismanagement. He might've been the only player left on the team that actually wanted to win a Super Bowl.
  3. I'm not sure what's more wild, the Seahawks QB numbers or the Commanders iOL numbers.
  4. That's kind of why everyone is doing this thing, so yea.
  5. I said "a" sixth, not "the" sixth. The reason I specifically chose that words and not any others, is because I don't see how anyone can believe that we're just another pass catcher away from being a super bowl team. It's not like we had a lack of wide open receivers on the final drive against KC when Allen drilled the ball in the dirt. It's not like one more receiver would have stopped Mahomes from driving the length of the field as time expires to beat us again. Even if the receiver we draft is elite (huge assumption), what is your pathway for this to be a team that beats Kansas city while we've averaging an allowed points of 35.6 across our last 3 playoff meetings?
  6. There are 5 reasons currently on the team.
  7. metcalf was a 64th pick. Hall was 36th. Neither one went in the first round. I don't think folks here adamant against taking a WR in the 2nd. Also, neither one has been a factor in making their team a contender, so despite being very good players, not sure it's a great argument for us to overinvest in one of them. Better draft a QB then, because there were multiple WRs open on that drive if that's your argument.
  8. Oh, that's right, our deep linebacking pool definitely wasn't a key reason Josh was golfing again while other teams were playing for Super Bowls. Simpson was learning behind absolute studs last year. Now that they let Queen walk, he'll have his shot this year. Meanwhile, Allen will once again be golfing next January if you get your wish and we get a 6th passing option for the offense instead of addressing the primary reason our team is not a serious SB contender.
  9. No, in my wildest dreams, he's Ed Reed. Just because I'm taking the best player that is also the most needed in the first, doesn't mean we take take WRs later. They can use every pick on receivers from the 3rd on as far as I'm concerned, though I would like to see us get depth LBs, a QB prospect and more secondary help there. I'll take this kid all day over the 6th best WR. Or Diggs.
  10. 99% of the this fanbase is completely clueless, so whatever they hate is usually the right move.
  11. There wasn't a player like this in FA that's capable of being a Minkah Fitzpatrick type. IMO, that multi-faceted DB could put our defense over the edge.
  12. 98, 00, 05, 10, 15, 16 were every bit as bad and 11, 12, 13, 14 weren't that great either.
  13. I mean, I guess if you make things up, anything can be true.
  14. If he goes there, sits and learns like Rodgers did, and then is able to play the game his way, maybe he has a successful NFL career. Easily one of, if not the, most grossly mismanaged Bills prospects in my lifetime.
  15. I can. We do these terrible draft day maneuvers to move up or down a handful of spots. Whenever we move up it seems we have to overpay and whenever we move down it seems we get the minimum. We gave up a 4th rounder to move up two spots to select Elam, Moved back twice in the second round for a total of 6 spots getting two 6th round picks. We gave up a 4th rounder to move up two spots to get Kincaid. Even though it looks like he'll be a good player, i still hate that value. If two 6th round picks can get you 6 spots int he second round, just try to do that or move up int he 3rd every year. If we can get 3 starting caliber players out of a draft and once in a while get one stud every two years, that's a good standard bar. If we want to build a SB roster while paying a $55M cap hit for a QB, we're gonna need 3 studs every two years.
  16. Ko Simposn had a big rookie year for us and Whitner, while a bit of a disappointment, was a day 1 starter who played for 11 seasons. Far from our worst draft. The thing that everyone always overlooks on bust drafts picks, is that in the vast majority of cases (unless you're Jacksonville, the Raiders or New England) that guy who was a massive disappointment for your team, was getting drafted in the next couple of picks if you didn't take him. The draft is just as much luck as it is skill. If we didn't draft sammy watkins #4, he was going in the next couple picks. Same for Mike Williams, Ej Manuel, JP Losman, etc.
  17. He's made $233k per tackle over the course of his career. Not a bad way to earn a living.
  18. Good. It's the smart thing to do.
  19. No, no they won't. Did you forget about Toronto which is bigger, more affluent, and more sports inclined than LA? As long as the team keeps winning, they won't have any problem selling out. It will just be different people in the stands.
  20. They wouldn't, and NFL owners don't want those people. They drive down the perceived value of the brand. There's a reason they reduced capacity in the new stadium. The NFL wants to create an exclusive atmosphere - not an accessible one. The poors can watch on TV while the affluent get VIP meet & greets with TSwift next year.
  21. I'm only trading a 1st round pick to get MHJ. Anythign else is a waste. History has shown you can get the same caliber of WR from the mid-late first, all the way to the early 3rd round.
