  1. I just don't like the wording at all. Not reading into it just seems like poor wording
  2. I just opened the Bills app and saw an article Tyrod to start Sunday. I'm not looking to start a debate on him but it bothers me how that's worded. Are they implying he's not going to finish? It's more than likely nothing but it just annoyed me.
  3. That division isn't that good at all. Each year there is one good team and then the Chiefs. Oakland and the Chargers haven't been good in the past. Last year Oakland was good and Denver was meh while the Chargers were bad. Sure KC makes the playoffs only to loose in the first round each year because they aren't all that great. The only playoff win they have is when they matched up against the Texans the only team that didn't deserve to be in the playoffs more than the Chiefs. It's also worth noting that KC scored points on defense and that's how they won games. Thats not something a team can sustain or live off of especially in the playoffs. Alex Smith is a QB that went an entire season without a TD to a WR. Think about that, an entire season. l live here in KC and have to hear from their asshat fans and sports shows all season. Strength of schedule does matter.
  4. Does it even matter? People have been complaining for years about the drafting, coaching and GM. Now things are being done and a single direction is being followed and people are still complaining. There's nothing anyone can do, so why not give them a chance and let's see how this all plays out. It's possible they know what they are doing.
  5. It can't be a fake forecast. It's a forecast nothing more. Anyone can interpret the data and build a forecast. Forecasts in their own sense are probablity.
  6. I can agree that cap management was bad but you can't put any of the coaching hires on him. Marrone was a Brandon, Nix hire and Rex & McD were Pegulla hires. We will never know what this team would have done had he hired the coach. I'm not saying he should have stayed, rather a GM and coach need to be on the same page.
  7. I don't see how the Bills are a mess. Yes they got rid of Sammy and Darby but they got something for Ragland who would have been cut. What did the Bills do with those players? Give them time and everyone will see they are building something special
  8. This is part of a bigger conspiracy by the Russians and Obama for world domination. Now, I have heard that the Pegulas have called in some friends from SHIELD for help and that captain America is on his way along with Spider-Man. With any luck by the next harvest moon they will have faught off the evil villains and restored order to OBD
  9. Ha. Oh, wow I got a good laugh out of that one...oh wow, i'm still laughing.
  10. I couldn't get past the first few words. Can someone translate this post in english for me please?
  11. He's a hack who can't get a job in a big city. I had the misfortune of meeting him on a few occasions and can honestly say he is a head case who should be cut.
  12. Barton was cut. OMG they are in full tank mode.
  13. What is wrong with some of you? Trade a good player for garbage?
  14. I think theres a pic of him with his arm around a guy, what could that mean? NOTHING.
  15. Darn it, I hit the damn 4 instead of a 3. Good catch. The funny thing is, living in KC the fans are clueless. They honestly think they have a chance at the Super Bowl each and every season. That division is a joke. Sure the AFC East has the Patriots but when you look at strength of schedule KC has it easy each and every season. Andy Reed used that model in Philly for years and people think he's one of the greatest. He's a good coach but how many first round exits does he have? Sorry, I did misunderstand your comment. I don't even think they need to move up, just get someone (or maybe they already have that person) who can run the system effectively.
  16. Consider this, in 1984 1983 Dan Marino wasn't considered the top QB nor was he considered in the top 3 yet he was the second to last pick in the first round and look how that turned out for Miami. 1984 QB's draft order: Elway Blackledge Kelly Eason O’Brien Marino I'm not worried about where the Bills pick their QB just as long as they get the one to run their system to the best.
  17. EJ looked good during preseason at times, hell Peterman and Yates have looked good. Mahomes will be average and the Chiefs will benefit yet again from an easy schedule with a weak ass division that only has one strong team. Oakland is the best team in that division, Denver and LA aren't very good. Chiefs will more than likely split with Oakland and sweep the other two. 5-1 in their division and then they will go 5-5 outside of their division and end up 10-6 barely making the playoffs only to loose in the first round when they have to play an actual playoff caliber team. Happens every year.
  18. How about Taylor plays with the 2nd and 3rd string next week so he can rack up some impressive numbers and all this trade talk can stop.
  19. Eddie Yarbrough is only 24 and they really like him, if things continue with Jerry they will trade him and go after someone they want along with draft picks.
  20. I don't know about that, Peterman played with the 3rd string an all but he looked comfortable and that rollout throw was a damn nice pass. Don't confuse my comment. I'm not saying he's starter material I'm just saying for a late round pick he looked really good and he made more than one nice throw.
  21. Personally I don't think Bama players should be picked very high. They are worn out before hitting an NFL practice.
  22. First preseason game with no game planning and Jones hasn't even played yet. Lets see: Taylor was 5 of 8 for 46 yards and looked very good and decisive with the ball Yates (A VETERAN) was 6 of 11 for 48 yards and looked serviceable Peterman (A ROOKIE) was 13 of 25 for 112 with a TD, and he looked very good playing with the 3rd team. But yea, keeps Jones based on nothing to compare. I think they did exactly what they needed to do and they got value for a scrub. I personally thought the team looked much improved compared to last season.
  23. The Maclin Decker topic has been fun to watch and read. Lets look at Maclin for a minute. He played with a QB that won't push the ball down field and is scared to take a chance or let his play makers go up and get the ball (Alex Smith), not to mention he was out played by a TE and a rookie WR in KC, that along with an injury and large contract made him expendable. Lets take the injuries out of the equation because you can't plan on them. If he came to Buffalo he wasn't going to beat out Watkins and with the new offense being centered around a TE, he's likely competing with another rookie WR for that #2 role. Taking a deeper look at that new offense, the Bills are more than likely going to be running two TE sets and Maclin would be fighting for playing time with a rookie WR all over again. Baltimore was a wise choice for him because now he's the #1 guy there and I'm sure Baltimore offered him more money. IMO - The Bills did something they normally wouldn't do. They didn't over pay for a player. They stuck to their guns and they did what they should have done. They are building for the long haul and not trying to just fill spots and eat up cap room, and Maclin did what he should have done. Took the money and ran. I think Decker would be in a similar situation and I hope if the Bills decide to kick the tires on him it's only after he is released and then I hope they stick to their plans and don't try and over pay just to get him. If they wanted to over pay then they should have just kept Woods because he's better and younger, it's wasn't his fault he wasn't used correctly in Buffalo under Rex.
