  1. Purely anecdotal... My SIL has joined us for 10 days on our OOT trip. She is in NO WAY political. I was giggling about some sort of meme someone posted here about Joey-B and the Ukraine. When she asked me what I was reading, I told her "oh, it is political". She still wanted to know, so I read it to her and she laughed out loud. She knew exactly what Joey-B was up to in regards to the Ukraine, in spite of the media trying to spin it as a "Trump scandal" to "get his political opponents". The truth IS getting out there, even to those who do not follow this in detail. Sure, you have the even lower info who will believe #OrangeManBad, but there is a lot of the middle that is seeing this scam for what it is (if not predisposed to think #OrangeManBad). It appears likely that the MSM is not being believed at the moment. I think when all this finally comes to a head the Trump administration has a game plan to get the real news out, and not the MSM/Democratic (BIRM) narrative. Joey-B screaming "political persecution" really hasn't helped him much - if the current polls (hahahaha) are to be believed. Even if the polls are accurate as simply a trend, it has been a negative for him. Do I think this was too slow a roll? Yup. Will scorched earth hurt Trump for reelection? Not if he is running against Elizabeth Warren and unemployment remains where it is.
  2. I liked the comment offering her this advice: "learn stairs". ?
  3. Reposting here: https://mobile.twitter.com/EpochTimes/status/1180179530700541955 In a legal win for the Trump admin, a federal appeals court upheld the @FCC's repeal of Obama-era so-called #NetNeutrality protections in a ruling that seemed to encourage states to impose their own regulatory schemes on the #internet
  4. That is my fault. I posted the Tweet about net neutrality the other day, not finding anything by way of a thread. I will post it in the thread you brought up.
  5. The responses are just as sane as you'd expect. I laughed out loud at the "in my great and unmatched wisdom"... There will never be another President like him. I am just grateful to be alive now, and watch him work.
  6. Glad you are doing better! Check out this list of Bills Backers (on the Bills site). We are currently in Italy. I contacted the head of the Bills Backers in Italy to find out the scoop (one whole bar - in Venice - where we will be next week - while they are on bye). Since he was so helpful, I would guess the Bills Backer head in Poland would be too if you send an email. If not... we have been watching the game on NFL GameDay Europe. It has cost 20 euro per week, and we can cancel at any time. (The way the NFL wants to expand in Europe, you'd think it would be whole lot cheaper. ) I hope you have a great trip!
  7. So you're the reason they lost to NE? ?
  8. I cannot find the campaign ad. Apparently, it is running on Facebook: McConnell fundraises off impeachment, says effort will fail 'with me as majority leader' Earlier this week, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said his chamber would have "no choice" but to hold a trial on whether to remove President Donald Trump from office if the House votes to impeach. But in a new campaign ad on Facebook, the Kentucky Republican claims that any impeachment attempt will fail as long as he remains in charge of the Senate. "Nancy Pelosi's in the clutches of a left wing mob. They finally convinced her to impeach the president," McConnell says directly to the camera in a 17-second video. "All of you know your Constitution. The way that impeachment stops is a Senate majority with me as majority leader. "But I need your help," he adds, standing in front of a picture of an elephant. "Please contribute before the deadline." </snip>
  9. CNBC also has a (fairly) positive spin: September unemployment rate falls to 3.5%, a 50-year low, as payrolls rise by 136,000 The jobless rate in September dropped 0.2 percentage points to 3.5%, the lowest since December 1969. Nonfarm payrolls rose by 136,000 in September, below the 145,000 forecast by economists polled by Dow Jones. However, past numbers were revised higher. August was revised up to 168,000 from an initial estimate of 130,000, while July was increased to 166,000 from 159,000, for a net gain of 45,000. Wages rose just 2.9% for the year, the lowest increase since July 2018.
  10. Trump administration to restrict visas for uninsured applicants President Trump issued a proclamation Friday requiring immigrants applying for U.S. visas to prove they can afford health care. Applicants will be denied entry into the U.S. unless they have plans to be covered by health insurance within 30 days of entering or have enough financial resources to cover the cost, according to the White House. The measure would take effect Nov. 3 and will apply to applicants for visas from abroad. It will not be applied retroactively to those already in the U.S. It does not affect lawful permanent residents, nor does it apply to asylum seekers, refugees or children. However, it would apply to the spouses and parents of U.S. citizens. </snip>
  11. If "all" we get out of Josh Allen is Brett Farve 2.0, I will be thrilled. And, I suspect I will not be alone in my happiness.
  12. Quoted this because it was the only net neutrality reference I could find ? https://mobile.twitter.com/EpochTimes/status/1180179530700541955 In a legal win for the Trump admin, a federal appeals court upheld the @FCC's repeal of Obama-era so-called #NetNeutrality protections in a ruling that seemed to encourage states to impose their own regulatory schemes on the #internet
  13. They never stop: Link to story of the story An Internal Revenue Service (IRS) bureaucrat has filed a so-called “whistleblower” complaint claiming he received information that at least one Treasury Department political appointee moved to “improperly interfere” with the annual audit of President Donald Trump or Vice President Mike Pence’s tax returns, according to the Washington Post. The Post, citing multiple anonymous sources, cannot provide key details of the complaint due to privacy laws that prohibit the disclosure of details concerning tax return filings. The complaint’s existence was revealed in court filings earlier, though it failed to garner much public attention. Two Trump administration officials downplayed the complaint due to the fact that it is based on “hearsay” and suggested it could have been prompted by political bias.
  14. The internal polling on this hoax must be disastrous.
