I am surprised they didn't have a better plan in place. I have always thought that "political persecution" was the reason for his run, and I still think that. So, if that is indeed the reason, shouldn't they have had a plan A, B, C, and D? Or, did they have a plan and since no one believes the MSM any longer, and since Obama and Soros are implicated - and much higher up the food chain than Joey B - the plan(s) was (were) shot to hell and he (and his campaign) have been so incompetent? It is almost as if they do not expect the Rs to fight back, that President Trump will rollover, and that they have no idea that are keyboard warriors willing to dig and dig to get out the real story. -

The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency
Buffalo_Gal replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
His videos are what they have censored in the past. They have been banned, shadow banned, and removed. He should have a newsletter release, and let his "fans" spread the videos around (they cannot censor everyone ... maybe). Is he using this as advertising/marketing and a us-vs-them campaign? Absolutely. Is is simply that? Unlikely, as he really has been censored in the past. Getting that newsletter list together is a great way to work around the social media shenanigans. -

Yeah, that's it. It's not like he's been censored in the past by twitter, google, and Facebook and he is trying to get ahead of it by getting around the upcoming censorship anyway he can. -
The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency

Initial rumors were "It's me or Tucker." Looks like they decided on Tucker? ?♂️ Escorted out. Shepard Smith 'was sick of being attacked by his Fox News primetime colleagues' and asked for a way out of his $15million a year contract - while a former staffer says it will be 'telling' to see who is chosen as his replacement Shepard Smith is leaving Fox News after joining the network in 1996 he announced on Friday, just 18 months after signing a $15million deal The sudden move comes after the anchor was both praised and derided over the past three years for his criticism of President Trump Smith has criticized his own network for having partisan guests, and existing to be 'entertaining' rather than informative The anchor, who has also criticized Trump, has clashed with colleagues over his views and said he was 'sick' of being attacked by his primetime colleagues Recently, Smith was openly mocked by Tucker Carlson on his show for calling an attack on one their colleagues 'repugnant' He's also been ridiculed by hosts Sean Hannity, who claimed Smith was 'clueless' about his work and Laura Ingraham who called his comments 'inconsiderate' When asked about Smith's departure on Friday by DailyMail.com, President Trump said: 'Is he leaving because of bad ratings? Is he leaving because of me?' Former Fox News reporter Carl Cameron told MSNBC that 'it will be telling' to see who steps into Smith's slot Smith, 55, said that he was looking forward to spending more time with his partner Giovanni Graziano, 31, and their dog Lucia Multiple sources told DailyMail.com that Smith's departure was a complete surprise to employees at the network and he was escorted out </snip> -
Trump foreign policy

So, I am OOT on vacation with hubby and on this portion of the trip my SIL, and my SIL's friend (born British, now a Swiss citizen) have joined us, and holy cow, the friend thinks the US is responsible for policing, and paying for, all the world civilians protection. It it is mind boggling that a US citizen can think that way, and completely detached from reality that a Swiss citizen should think US citizens should be paying in blood and treasure to police the world. i have been biting my tongue a lot. -

I think the fact that he has been rubbing their noses in it the last few weeks shows that now only does he know all, he knows what is to be released (this is a build up). He's upped his twitter game considerably recently, alternately trolling and dropping truth bombs. I haven't seen the press gasp and clutch pearls and report on them endlessly much lately which means they are going to try and sit on this info as much as possible (no shock) and that it is probably time for another typo or word that the press is unfamiliar with (journalists who never took an English class). -

Bi-Partisan Support For Impeachment
Buffalo_Gal replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I don't get this whole "impeachment in secret". This isn't an impeachment proceeding as there was no vote (doesn't stop the MSM from reporting the letters to the WH as "subpoenas"). The Ds know this isn't a real process, even as they screech about it. If it ever did get put to a vote, it is unlikely to fly without some major arm-twisting (and since the DNC is broke, what are they gonna do? Withhold campaign funding?) as those purple-district-people couldn't vote "yes" and keep their seats. And, finally, the Senate would never vote to convict (and the Rs would might vote yes *cough*Mitt*cough* would be cut out of the RNC slush fund hurting their reelection possibility). Looking at this side show circus as a set-up to drive a narrative? As monkeys flinging poo hoping something, anything, will stick? Or, as a last gasp before accepting the inevitable? Yeah, those are all viable takes. But, "impeachment" in secret? Nawww That is giving this side show circus too much gravitas. -

Do you guys still talk to your childhood friends?
Buffalo_Gal replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Nope. My brother, however... he's still friends with a good 10-15 guys he grew up with, some of those friendships going back to second grade! (about 45 years) Hmmm now that I think about it, I see those guys (my brother's growing-up friends) a lot, too. Hubby is hunting buddies with two of them, and Hubby and I are friends with one of the couples in my brother's crowd and frequently go out to dinner with them, etc. I was never friends with any of these people growing up, but I have known them for 45+ years. -

Bi-Partisan Support For Impeachment
Buffalo_Gal replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
8 pages!!! Dear Madam Speaker and Messrs. Chairmen: I write on behalf of President Donald J. Trump in response to your numerous, legally unsupported demands made as part of what you have labeled contrary to the Constitution of the United States and all past bipartisan precedent-as an "impeachment inquiry." As you know, you have designed and implemented your inquiry in a maimer that violates fundamental fairness and constitutionally mandated due process. For example, you have denied the President the right to cross-examine witnesses, to call witnesses, to receive transcripts of testimony, to have access to evidence, to have counsel present, and many other basic rights guaranteed to all Americans. You have conducted your proceedings in secret. You have violated civil liberties and the separation of powers by threatening Executive Branch officials, claiming that you will seek to punish those who exercise fundamental constitutional rights and prerogatives. All of this violates the Constitution, the rule of law, and every past precedent. Never before in our history has the House of Representatives-under the control of either political party-taken the American people down the dangerous path you seem determined to pursue. </snip> -
