There was also some stuff about him being unhappy they fired a female employee and some "likes" he put up on social media about the Texans being a garbage franchise. Just seemed like parting ways was the best for both parties involved Get him here. Talk to him. See if he's a good fit moving forward.

Mostly injuries doomed him in Miami although Gase didn't help. The talent was always there which is why he landed a big second contract in Miami. His offensive line and weapons were pretty bad to subpar throughout his tenure there. He missed all of 2017 with the ACL tear and then lost his ability to throw the deep ball dealing with a shoulder injury in 2018. He got healthy and fell into an offense that played to his strengths. He's good and pry is in the 6 to 10 range if I had to rank him right now.

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Doc Brown replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It's almost as if it's timed perfectly with people being indoors more. Kind of like when the states that peaked in the summer just happened to be the one's where it was too damn hot to be outside and air conditioning was used the most. I haven't seen any credible expert saying masks would make this thing go away. Just a tool to reduce its spread similar to washing hands, social distancing, and limit mass gatherings (especially indoors). For some reason washing hands and social distancing aren't political hot button issues though. -
Chicago Teachers Union: 'The Push To Reopen Schools
Doc Brown replied to Unforgiven's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I appreciate the sarcasm but don't give politicians any ideas. For those out there considering this, the chances of kids dying from the flue is astronomically low (around .01%). The chances of them dying from Covid is even lower (around .009% from the info we have so far). Kids should be back at school but make sure they stay the hell away from grandma. -
Jets tell Gase he will be fired after next week's game
Doc Brown replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's never a good sign when your QB is lobbying for a head coach to keep his job. Kitchens was an unknown as a HC when Baker endorsed him. Lynn isn't a good head coach and they need to move on. -
Trump will veto "stimulus" wants $2000 per American
Doc Brown replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The Republican Senators could tie more funding for small businesses into a new bill along with the $2000 checks and not entertain Trump's unrelated paranoid driven demands (230, election fraud). Trump could still get credit for increasing the stimulus checks and Republicans can claim they made the deal in order to help struggling local small businesses. -

Bill Belichik comments - Looks good on him

Exactly. I remember him gushing about Herbert before demolishing the Chargers 45-0. -

They should be open. I don't care if you're on the left or right. Follow the science. The flu is more deadly to kids than Covid. They're less likely to transmit it than adults. Making them stay at home or some hybrid model is not good policy because it will stunt some kids academic and social development. -
I don't like McDermott saying "week to week" based off past history of players he's given that designation to but you're more likely to play a player as important as Beasley in the playoffs if he's 75% compared to the regular season if he's 75%. It would be nice if they gave us a little more information though.

Big Ben to the Bench! #2 Seed is ours!
Doc Brown replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was the 2004 season. The Browns could very easily lay an egg and lose to a solid team playing a mix of starters and hungry backups. It's a tricky situation for McDermott because you know they want to avoid the Ravens. -

The Taiwan Jones Dropped TD
Doc Brown replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kumerow isn't a RB but Jones is a solid special teams player. Why he was on the field is beyond me. -
If interested here's a breakdown of all the scenarios. -If we get the two seed our only chance of playing the Ravens if they lose to the Bengals. -If we get the three seed it's likely we play the Ravens with Titans, Ravens, and Colts also winning in week 17 (highly likely).
