This. Plus, Beasley and Sanders are very good at finding soft spots in zones. When we do go into two TE sets Sweeney is the better blocker and has good hands (although not as athletic as Hollister).

Brandon Beanes Presser today…informative

They rotated since McBeane's been here but they've never kept more than nine. This year they keep 11? I really was hoping Butler or Zimmer would get the axe. -

Fans pry value TE's more than Daboll does. I think we're going to go a lot more 10 personnel this year. Gilliam having a strong camp pry allowed them to cut Hollister and keep that extra D-lineman. -
I doubt it as it damages his reputation with future free agents (and current players) if he reneges on a handshake agreement.

It's Time to Mandate Vaccines
Doc Brown replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Oh yeah. I'm sure all the at risk people who got vaccinated regret their decision as they read that nearly all the deaths from Covid were among the unvaccinated. Step back from the internet and grow a brain man. -

Dolphins are the frontrunner on trade for Deshaun Watson

There's a 36 page thread on Watson rumors over there..... it just got moved so Tua wouldn't see it. https://finheaven.com/threads/miami-still-entertaining-a-trade-for-watson.367769/ -
Don't you dare pick up Emmanuel Sanders.

I've never been to Bar-Bill because it's so damn crowded every time we're in East Aurora. We just sit at Mister's (good but not great bbq btw) and envy it from a distance. When I do get there what are the best wing flavors so I can see if the hype meets the expectations?

Will Gabe Davis ever challenge the #1 WR spot?
Doc Brown replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Probably not because he'll likely be unable to separate consistently from most teams best corner. He can develop into a great #2 though. -

I agree somewhat especially when it comes to mask mandates. However, the majority of blue states percentage wise have more people vaccinated. The threat of further mitigation is seems to drive up those numbers which saves lives. It's a strange dynamic. -
The signs of even better things to come from Josh Allen

That one stood out to me because he threw it before Gabe even turned. Something you never saw between him and our #1 WR Kelvin Benjamin his rookie year. Sean McVay worried about his backup maybe? -
McKenzie found the common sense [Edit: got vaxxed]

Given the injury and Stevenson's punt return TD. It's possible he woke up to that reality. -

I'd have to see the details of the trade as far as pick protection goes. -
Call your shot … who will get the #1 seed in the AFC?
Doc Brown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know. I said that Mahomes picked them apart in the playoff game before he got hurt. The Browns also didn't have Garrett or Clowney to pressure Mahomes so maybe they can contain him better somewhat. I think the Browns style of offense is ideal as they have the balance to sustain long clock eating drives (keep Mahomes off the field as much as possible) as long as they finish them with TD's. That means going and converting it on fourth down instead of settling for the field goal. They were 4th in red zone offense last year relying heavily on Chubb and Hunt. Attack the middle of the Chiefs defense with Hooper and Landry using OBJ (also didn't play) to open up space. Last year playoffs the Browns killed themselves in the first half with penalties stalling their drives having to deal with 2nd or 3rd and 15 plus yards. Also, don't fumble the damn ball reaching for the pylon for a touchdown. -

Should be a good one. The Browns style of offense is ideal when attacking KC. A lot depends on how quickly the new pieces in the Browns secondary gel. If they get off to a slow start Mahomes will pick them apart like he did in the Divisional game before he got hurt. -

I see it playing out a lot like last year. Chiefs get the NFC East so I'll give them the nod. -
Shaq Lawson on trade block (update - traded to Jets)
Doc Brown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldn't mind giving a late round pick up for him to ensure we get him. He's a superb kickoff and punt returner which is a rarity in the league nowadays. We could easily trade a late round pick for him and absorb his salary (2.5 million dollar cap hit). If not I'll be holding my breath every time McKenzie or whoever is returning punts is about to field it.
