From everything that's ever been said about him is nobody works harder at his craft so I don't know where you get that from. He's just physically limited when it comes to separating in the short to intermediate areas of the field. We need to upgrade and it's pry going to have to happen in the draft.
-
The Chiefs were prepared for it because I could pry punt farther than Martin given his hamstring injury. Combine that with poor execution and that's what you get. Wasn't a fan of the call but will admit I'd call it genius if it worked.

Middle Aged Lancaster Man Wins Lottery -
I was begging too (but verbally during the play live) knowing it's a probable first down, we're in the red zone, and that clock keeps rolling. I knew our skeleton crew defense wasn't stopping Mahomes from a game winning TD so I thought our only chance to win was to bleed that clock down and score a TD under 30 seconds. The "what if" he checked it down to Diggs is the equivalent to "what if" they squib kicked it during 13 seconds to me.

If we had the health KC did on defense we would've won this game. If you believe in curses then yes this team will never win a Super Bowl. If you believe in the laws of probability we're more likely to win a Super Bowl in the next five years as long as Beane, McDermott, and Allen are all in place.

Glad there's a positive thread as even the most casual fan is mad as hell looking for someone to blame. Not sure if we even make it this far without the additions of Douglas or Johnson. Losing just sucks. Losing to the Chiefs in the playoffs again sucks even more.

If Allen was on the punt team they might have been suspicious.

Allen was legendary (even better than 13 seconds Allen)

I said he was the reason we were even in that position. He’s the highest paid player on the team though. He has to play smarter there. Take your damn profits. -

He’s the reason we had a shot. Him not checking down to Diggs is the reason we lost. Don’t know if we’ll ever beat four playoff teams in a row with his decision making. -
A 100 page thread that will mean nothing. He’s not going anywhere guys.

The wind pushed that one to the left. -
I'd figure he'd get some interest given how well they performed at least statisically near the top in most metrics in his year and a half as offensive coordinator here. Does Stefanski call plays?

Kansas City at Buffalo in the Divisional Round!

I think people spend too much time thinking about refs motivations. If I was a ref my only goal would be to not be nationally scrutinized after a game watched by over 30 million people at least. -

Mine is Patrick Mahomes. -
I want a home game and I want an inferior opponent. The Texans check both boxes.

Here's what I'll say in response to all your points. -I agree Mahomes is the better overall QB because he's more consistent and doesn't make as many mistakes. However, when Allen is on he's the best dual QB threat I've ever seen. For a full season and career I'd take Mahomes. For one have to have it game in the playoffs where the opposing team has the defensive edge I'll take Allen over Mahomes. -The Bengals took the crowd out of it early last year so to truly get the most out of the home field advantage we have to at least keep it close all game. The only games not at Arrowhead in Mahomes's post season career was at neutral site games (Super Bowls) and his passing rating is only 79.7 with 5 TD's and 4 INT's. It remains to be seen if those stats were fluky or if he doesn't perform as well away from Arrowhead. We'll see how he does in the most hostile postseason environment he's ever faced. -

Reports are that Omenihu and Gay will probably play. Toney unfortunately won't. -
Falcons request interview with Joe Brady for HC job
Doc Brown replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’d want him as the QB coach more than the offensive coordinator. A calming presence on the sideline for Josh, been a qb in the NFL before, coached a wide range of QB’s before from Luck to Wentz to Foles, and can maybe provide Brady with some wrinkles in his game plan. Not sure if he’d take the job though. -

Isn't This Game the Ultimate Referendum on Beane?
Doc Brown replied to Rich Stadium Original's topic in The Stadium Wall
My only criticism of Beane this year was not upgrading at WR2 from Davis. He’s done a phenomenal job with this roster other than that. One game isn’t going to change that.
