  1. Not sure at 10, but if we can get someone to dance and move back to around 16 to 18, another second at least in hand and Reddick would be ok with me. We desperately need a WLB, just nor sure if that is worth the pick at 10.
  2. It's a love-hate relationship...we hate to love them! Maybe being a Bills fan might be considered a syndrome or sickness of some kind. I am sure there is some doctors out there that would sign off on that for sure.
  3. By this point everyone in play and of value has already been discussed, but there are always surprises in the draft. Could the Bills value Njoku over Howard, Ross over Davis or Williams, Reddick over a DB, or maybe a big trade up or down, where then you never know. I really hope we trade down to somewhere between 16 and 20 and get another second and maybe even a fourth or fifth...we need some depth with players we can develop. We will see soon!
  4. Mostly camp fodder, but Cromartie, Metz, Sylve, and Sylvestre have chances as backups and special teams. Just glad to see we are still working at filling the roster before there is absolutely nothing left out there. You never know, but most of these type of signings hardly ever pan out. Let's hope for a diamond in the rough!
  5. Whaley, as has been stated before, been quite good at finding FA linebackers...got to give him the benefit of the doubt for sure. We definitely need depth at WLB at the very least, considering we don't really have even one at the moment outside of Humber...ouch
  6. I am actually afraid of what it has already turned into. I mean I guess it is all in fun, or at least I hope it is. This scenario just seems a bit far fetched, don't you think? Not the idea of trading Shady, but the fact he thinks we would get a 2nd and a 5th. No way wit that much tread left on the tires. Three years back, maybe...
  7. Wow, we are really getting bored here this time of the year folks. We need some football, and we are such a long ways away. I wonder how many times we will talk, trade Tyrod again, or trade Woods, how about trade Sammy, we could use a few of those, especially if we draft another top WR. Some of you guys better take up golf or something! This is going to be a long summer...
  8. I live it Doug something...that's now the head coach of the Jaguars, Doug Marrone, but we are,all trying to forget about him as well. I think the new head coach Sean McDermott is really going to help turn things around here. Solid football guy! As far as GB draft board for this season,...at least the DB pool is really deep you should be able to get two starters for sure. OL is ok this year, but you probably need to get that before round four to be sure to get some quality. Good luck with your draft, good, luck with your season. We look forward to your visits here. Let's keep hoping we will see a small market super bowl one of these days. The Pack versus Bills would be really cool to watch. Zac Brown band ...that's just funny!
  9. Interesting for a late round pick or UFA prospect at least. Pretty sure we wouldn't draft another guy like that when we already have to medium size and large size version of that already On the roster.
  10. I can't imagine how you could criticize this move. He is leaving no stone unturned to find some magic. I personally love it. McD knows it is important to show respect to the tradition that was set here all those years ago and connecting to it can help tap into some good energy he can later convey to his team at the moments during the season they need it most. Let's try and get behind what he is doing and bring back the glory of what it means to truly be a Bills fan. Our emotions as fans is important and can have a positive influence on this season. Go Bills!
  11. We always appreciate your visits Ice! Who do you think the Pack is targeting in the draft, or at least what major need do you think needs filling? I would guess RB is near the top, and maybe some DB help, but it would be interesting to hear what the word is there about what your needs are.
  12. From what I see, it is pretty much all speculation that made this list or at least most of it. That is what these type of lists are. It doesn't precedent itself by saying this is a list based on any set of stats, so then there must be a level of speculation and subjectivity to it.
  13. Not bad man...and I could see something very close to that happening. My worries are only, where are we going to get our LBs at?? We need at least two more of decent quality if we draft only one. I think we need two LB's two DB's and one decent offensive weapon and one rotational OL prospect. If we trade down, and I do see that almost as a must if we can find someone, we will need a special teams contributor. I know we have some depth here on the team.
  14. Overall I think we have not had a head coach like this really ever at OBD. I like McD's style, demeanor and energy. I did not feel like this with either Doug or Rex...this just feels different. As a fellow coach and talent evaluator, he is saying all the right things and posturing himself in a way that conveys strength and wisdom. Now that combination we have had here before, and that resulted into some serious wins. I know you have to have the players too, but man without good leadership you can't even sniff championships these days. Let's just hope that he has the full support of the organization and Whaley either knows his place and backs down a bit or Terry and Kim give him the boot. Either way I think McD should be running the show until proven otherwise.
  15. I get your concern. I am guessing from what he has done in the past, he will design a defense to bend but not break and look to attack certain matchups with over under coverage hoping to create turnovers. There is no stopping the Pats, but making a turn over and then doing our best to not just keep the ball away from them with our run offense, but make sure we punch the ball in the end zone when we get the opportunity will be the winning formula. Reeally, that will be the formula for all teams though! I am looking forward to see how McD coaches up this team and his in game adjustments. That will be key to having success moving forward and competing with elite teams in the league. Players give you a chance to win, but coaching can make the difference in the win and loss column in the end.
  16. I actually think this pick could potentially have the opposite effect. They could end up fighting over touches...just saying.
  17. The jags helmets look horrible, but the right color scheme could make that idea come to life if done properly IMO.
  18. Not a big fan at all of the red helmets, but with white uniforms it looks good. Also not a big fan of the Color Rush either, just too much red. Maybe a white helmet, red jersey, white pants, and red cleats would look better? What might be interesting would be to make a helmet a little along the lines of what Jacksonville has done using red and white or some other combination. Our colors are so perfect, that there is so much we could do to add some spice to them. Not against just keeping them simple either. It just sucks that the NFL doesn't let us mess around more with the helmets on special occasions though!
  19. I agree, but I just don't think the QB is there. Maybe Trubisky or Mahomes, but I just haven't seen enough on tape to fall in love with either. Then, as you said, BPA, with focus on critical areas, and maybe a stretch if the value is out of this world good at any particular pick. That's all good, and most draft rooms probably think the same way, it's just if they have evaluated talent and set their boards up well or not. We will see soon!
  20. I agree. A clear conscience and a feeling of fulfillment will allow them to play more free out there. I understand how some want to keep religion out of the game, but I disagree that this is the issue here. This is about emotional stability. I don't care if they want to sniff the dirty panties of someone's grandma while eating Fruity damn Pebbles...if that helps them find their happy place so they can go out and play with reckless abandon...get er done OBD! Too many people feeling hurt by what other people believe in. Live your own lives the way you want and to hell with what other people think!
  21. I have said this in many threads before,... I think we need to get the best either DB or LB available in round 1, then either WR or TE in round 2, then again DB or LB in round three and use the few remaining picks for first OL, then maybe a developmental QB or specialty player, say a smaller quick WR who can return or a big fat DT with talent and just needs a little hard work to slim down. Ya feeling me?? BPA might just be the best policy in this draft with a focus on DB and LB to help fill holes. Only McD really knows the type of player's we need, but I am sure we all know there will be at least one DB and one LB picked in the first five rounds from us.
  22. Time will tell. Not sure what to think when these reports come out. I am not sticking my foot in my mouth here until we know what the truth is. Now, I will say this...I do not like Irvin at all. Arrogant and uninformed as a commentator IMO. Too loud and brash, always acting like an unintelligent bully trying to boast himself as the best thing since sliced bread. I was never buying that. A good receiver in his day yes, but that is where the talent ended in my book!
