Derek Carr in line for $40 million per year extension
LABILLBACKER replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly, Carr may not be worth 40 but he's closer to that number then Lamar or Baker. -
Quinton Spain comments on release from the Bills
LABILLBACKER replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Spain got destroyed on the last 2 plays of the game. -
Should the Bills extend Edmunds?
LABILLBACKER replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree. He could've been a little kinder in his comparison. But sometimes players can be inadvertently "brutally honest". -
Should the Bills extend Edmunds?
LABILLBACKER replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall
I guess the real enigma is why 25% of Bills fans refuse to admit this. I think the most devastating statistic on Tremaine's performance lies in the qb rating of 114 and 106 when he's been targeted these last 2 seasons. I thought that was supposed to be his strength? And no one is saying Milano is great or elite by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe that light bulb goes on or even explodes in year 5 but as so many posters have accurately stated, it's highly unlikely 49 plays to that 12.7M production. -
Should the Bills extend Edmunds?

Of course there wasn't. You could probably stick Dodson in there for a game or 2 and not notice much difference. -
2022 Offseason Primer Position Group: Defensive Line
LABILLBACKER replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'll tell you one thing whether or not we sign Harry will determine Davis's fate as a possible pick at 25. I also think we're moving on from Star. -
2022 Offseason Primer Position Group: Defensive Line

I like Chandler Jones too but he will cost a minimum of 16-18/yr. Plus he's on the wrong side of 30. That's too much considering we'll probably only have around 26-28M in cap after cuts. I like considering Ogbah and if Jordan Davis is sitting there at 25 you might have to go get him. Say goodbye to Star, Jerry, Mario and Butler and maybe Harry? Sign Zimmer and Ankou to 1 yr deals as rotational depth. -
Bills will win the Superbowl next year
LABILLBACKER replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Our offense will be good enough to get us in the playoffs every year. But our defense will let us down. -
Well then you're going to hate Wednesday night football which is being discussed.

Rams - opening game of season Bills / Cowboys most likely
LABILLBACKER replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh dominates on Thanksgiving. Replace Detroit with Buffalo from here on out. Start a new tradition. -
LA market not in top 10 for SB TV ratings
LABILLBACKER replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think this was LA's last championship for some time. The Lakers have done basically what the Rams did. Leveraged their future picks for this year. And in the Lakers case it was a colossal fail. I think the Dodgers have peaked too. -
It's officially time to give 3D all the targets. Diggs...Davis...Dawson No more obsession with veteran locker room guys. Get young and be productive. Draft a speed WR.

I've been a Bills fan for over 50 years. I've invested too much of my heart and soul in this team to quit now. Yes the NFL is a corrupt league and there's very little we can do about it. Games can get steered in any direction. There were 5.5 billion reasons why the Rams were gently assisted at the end of the game. It's been a fun yet exhausting ride rooting for this team. Gotta see it thru. Gotta keep believing even if it seems daunting. God can't be that cruel.

I agree that Oliver and Phillips are very close to that veteran status. With Jerry and Mario, what you gain in veteran leadership you lose in production. Jerry had 2 sacks this regular season. As much as he's meant to this team, he's done.

It's never been more the time to move on from Hughes, Addison and Butler. I'd rather spend that money on younger more productive players.

Aaron Donald may retire if Rams win SB?
LABILLBACKER replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
They won't go full fire sale but duplicating last night will be tough. Donald could retire. OBJ is out for a year with acl. Basically zero draft picks the next several years. Stafford getting up there in age. -
Bills ended the season as the #1 team in the NFL based on FPI

Players or coaches? -
What they say re: McKenzie?

Rams - opening game of season Bills / Cowboys most likely
LABILLBACKER replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yup....we have the superior QB. They have the mega market. No way it's us. I could see the Bills @ Rams being a MNF game mid season. -
Our defense always seems to come up short in the playoffs
LABILLBACKER replied to streetkings01's topic in The Stadium Wall
Frazier sucks....always has and always will...he was a terrible HC and half the time McD has to intervene. His conservative philosophy and rotation doesn't work. The Buffalo Bills have historically never had clutch defenses dating back to the 90's SB's. Look what Donald & Miller did last night. And now that we have maybe the best qb to ever play in Buffalo, we have to depend on dumb & dumber to find a real defense. -

LABILLBACKER replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'll never believe in analytical nonsense again. Our legendary #1 defense has given up 80 points to KC in the last 2 playoff games. Taylor shreds us for 5 tds. Our coaches probably get a -8.6 for situational awareness. Any team that loses to the Jags doesn't deserve squat. Josh Allen is the only thing at 8.6 -
Rams Team Building Strategy Will It Be Duplicated or a Rareity
LABILLBACKER replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
As far as giving up 1st & 2nd round picks for proven impact players, I say absolutely. But that still doesn't navigate us away from foolish coaching. -
What needs to be done to get us here?
LABILLBACKER replied to Awwufelloff's topic in The Stadium Wall
Kupp can get double teamed like tonight and still win the mvp. Diggs getting doubled in KC disappeared. Love Stefon but next season is the time to step it up. -

LABILLBACKER replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree. Josh & Co. give me hope. McDermott and his in game coaching terrifies me.
