I don't recall seeing amazing coverage skills during the Houston, Cincy and KC playoff loses. I'd be perfectly fine with Klein or Al-Shaair/ Vander Esch type around 7M. Lavonte would also do just nicely on a 2 yr deal but it'll cost 9M/ yr. So take your pick?
Hopefully Chapter 2 involves more aggressive man press in the playoffs. If I hear we're a top 5 defense one more time I'll puke. Get it done in the playoffs and stop being candy asses with that soft zone.
Yes Cam is awful whether as a STer or backup db. I really was convinced he was getting cut after the way he played last season. Other than Bass, Martin & Hines, I don't understand why everyone else isn't the $940k minimum?
Listen, I'm not going to argue the pros & cons of Edmunds anymore. He's gone and frankly it's exhausting. McB did the right thing letting him walk for the 18M he got. I like what Lavonte can bring as a veteran bridge LB for maybe a couple years @ 9M. He can mentor a new LB and yes he's likely to make a few more splash plays than Tremaine. Sign me up......
Spotrac has David @ 9.7 so I'd only sign him to a 2 year deal totaling 18M. But be aware that's going to take a big chunk out of offensive FA cap money.
If you want a much more aggressive LB than Tremaine, this is your guy. But again we need to spend the higher FA contracts on offense. Mixed feelings unless he comes cheap?
Quessenberry?....you mean the same guy who practically got Josh's arm torn off. I'll pass on Q, Saffold and Spencer. Connor should be an upgrade at RG as we slide Bates to LG. Now we either draft or sign a bigger name for RT. Brown is only depth.
His 2021 number was 69 so we'll see what we're getting. And for those of you that are skeptical of all PFF, give me a better alternative. I'll use it immediately.
He's reached the age of diminishing returns. Add injuries and contract expectations you must end ties. We'll have to do this again in 12 months with Micah.
Yeah that thing was choreographed but still a cool moment for the kid. No one can or should ever doubt Sean's character. He's an amazing human being who still is searching to refine other areas of improvement.
Exactly....Whether we land Bijan or JSN or whoever, we're loading up on OL this season. So everyone just relax. We're not ignoring OL anymore. Not even McD can allow that.
He's going to want a minimum of 4.5/ yr after 17 tds. So is a goaline RB worth that? We'll see.
