    We will definitely be drafting DT this April. Probably rounds 5-6 depending if we trade down? Probably re-sign Jones to a short extension? But we will have to get younger there.

    I think that's exactly what happened. The league isn't dumb. They can see Ed's inconsistent play. No one is willing to pu that 10M. We'll let him walk after this season and wait for our 2025 3rd round pick. Wouldn't be surprised to see us drafting a late DT.

    This is a good signing. Now someone walk up to Jordan and tell him to stop diving for QBs 15 feet away.

    I don't mind trading back into the 2nd for Sanders, but the next 3 picks better be offense. I don't trust our DL scouts at all.

    Beane needs to continue to improve the OL. Josh deserved this 3 years ago rather than this org. far ting around with failed defensive picks. We aren't done as I think we draft 2 more olineman. If you want longevity and a 30 year old cyborg throwing rockets all around the field, protect his ass for God's sake.

    Well maybe they should stop doing that. That's a "them" problem. Andy let's his rookies jump right into the deep end and show him what that have.

    We've got plenty of options so no need to panic. If Dhop does come then we better not lose more than a 3rd and they need to eat some salary. If not there's always OBJ or maybe someone promising falls to 27? I guarantee you Beane will land someone to slot between Diggs & Gabe.

    If Arizona thinks they're getting a 1st or 2nd pick for Hop they're dream weavers. Not with that salary, age and recent injury issues.

    No we don't anymore. Most assets must go to surrounding Josh. KC just won a SB giving up 35 points.

    He would probably take over for Hyde after this season, unless Micah gets an extension? Rapp is a substantial upgrade over guys like Marlowe, Neal & Johnson.

    He'll never know what to do with the offense but I trust him more than Leslie calling plays. I expect to see a slight increase in blitzes and press coverage. But the Tampa 2 zone and dime will be alive and well.

    He's right and Josh has too ween this out of his style or he won't play till 36+. This doesn't mean the OL isn't without some blame here for Josh being forced to early scramble. We need a better running game and shorter passing attack like weeks 1-2.

    It's officially time to emphasize your offense ahead of defense. I think Sean is finally realizing that. I think the OL will continue to be upgraded beyond McGovern/Edwards in the draft. Maybe we can snag Dhop at a reasonable price?? Surround Josh and never stop.

    So he's another big strong safety like Tremaine? We only use 1 traditional LB anyway in our dime. I still think it will be Campbell or Sanders early.

    We'll survive. In a couple years it wouldn't shock me to see the Bears have buyers remorse. He's the most over hyped and over talked about player since Byrd. Draft Campbell or Sanders and move on.

    The only halfway decent FA's left are Jack & Cunningham. Neither are considered amazing so it's likely we're done looking. It will come down to either Campbell or Sanders to replace 49. I sure as hell hope these scouts have done their homework.

    I agree. With each passing season, fans will finally realize this organization F'd up major by not building a damn dome. Josh's game gets neutralized in bad weather.

    Spencer will never have fast enough feet to play either tackle spot. I too like Wright alot. Plug n play RT. Seen tape on both Campbell and Sanders. I'd lean Sanders.

    Of course he did and so did Elam. Just a incredibly stupid philosophy by McDermott. If you want to mistrust your 5th round pick fine, coddle & sit them. But early round picks should be developed or evaluated immediately.

    Yeah, you can't ignore all those Lombardi trophies Tremaine brought during his 5 years. They better know who the hell to pick at 27. Sanders or Campbell? That's fine and I can live with that but if Oliver is coming off the books, we better be getting Dhop for a couple years.

    Exactly....all 3 will be gone by 40 - 45. So unless we trade down or trade up in the 2nd we could lose out.

    Yeah, 37 doesn't bother me. Reggie White played at a high level at 39. Sign him to a 1 yr/ 1M deal. Let him rotate in. Besides it's doubtful Von jumps in week1. Hopefully next year there will be better DT's available in the draft. Ed us likely gone.
