The tie down on the back of Rapp's helmet?
LABILLBACKER replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
That int reminded me alot of Poyer or Micah from years past. -
Keep those nuggies coming

Can Khalil Shakir be WR2 next season?

4.43 but he sure looked faster going down the sideline. -
Thrilled with today but we left alot of meat on the bone

That easily would've been a td. -
Can Khalil Shakir be WR2 next season?
LABILLBACKER replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
We draft 2 this April and 2 more April 2025. By that time we should have an idea who's good enough to become Josh's WR1. Shakir and Kincaid can easily take the role of WR2a/ WR2b. Then we look at Shorter or the remaining 3 wr picks to round things out. One of those 4 picks will stand out. -

We will definitely be drafting 2 WRS. Probably one in the 1st and one later. We can definitely get one more good year from Stef. Gabe is gone so at the very least Shakir should be promoted as our WR3. And eventually he could slide into that WR2 slot. He's improved so much. -
The Gabe Davis conversation (Allen with and without Gabe)
LABILLBACKER replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree he's an outstanding blocker but if that's his #1 skill as our so-called #2WR, we're in serious trouble. I just can't watch Gabe run routes anymore. Or adjust to pressure he can see is coming at Josh. I'm rolling with Diggs, Shakir, Kincaid and Sherfield from here on out. I can live with a little less blocking. -
The Gabe Davis conversation (Allen with and without Gabe)
LABILLBACKER replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh and the team excel when Gabe's off the field. Both of Josh's ints involved Gabe again doing wierd stuff. The stumble probably cost us a chance at a td. Shakir flat out rarely drops the ball anymore and he's clutch. Kincaid is improving. Even fricking Sherfield finally made an impact. I could easily live with Gabe being inactive. Wish Shorter was even available. As far as I'm concerned Gabe is done as a Bill. Time to move on. Any team dumb enough to pay Gabe 10M+ deserves everything thing "bad" they get. -
I don't think Sean is allowing Bass to kick anything beyond 50 yards. So if you don't make it to the 33 it's Josh or something else.

Take away Cook's one 14 yard run and he had an awful night. We're not winning unless this area is improved (along with his drops)....
-
Totally agree. Somewhat disappointed in how we treated that last 6 min. Josh's heroic 13 yard run was amazing but it was like Brady was terrified to call anything other than an A gap run on 1st down which got nothing. He just wanted to run clock over get the 10 yards.

Stef played great and deserved a 150+ yard game with a td. He still made enough plays. He absolutely broke Ramsey's ankle on that deep miss by JA. -

I just think we went to the tush push once too often. How bout a naked bootleg while everyone is bunched over the A gap? -
If Knox gets that DPI, that probably results in TD1. If Gabe doesn't trip over his feet that's probably TD2. If Cook actually had hands that's TD3. And a wide open Diggs on an easy 89 yd TD4 is lost on the over throw. I'm ecstatic about the division championship but there's still stuff to clean up.

The blatant and egregious miss on Knox needs to be addressed. That should've been 1st & goal at the 2. I think RB's tend to get less helmet to helmet calls than wrs?

Collinsworth said the Bills are the only NFL team with the same starting OL all year. Torrence did struggle tonight but I'd leave things alone and coach him up for the playoffs.

2 long trips to the west coast. At least SoFi will be another home game.

I commend Sean for calling out Josh at halftime. He deserved it and needed to snap out of it, which he did in spectacular fashion. This team loves McDermott. He may not be perfect but that's enough for me.
-
The 2nd Int was 💯 Gabe's fault stumbling over his uncoordinated feet. The first Int shouldn't even have happened if the blatant DPI is called on Knox. Josh's biggest mistake was his no trajectory over throw to Diggs. Diggs should've had an easy 89 yd td there. Josh regrouped and became the cyborg we're used to.

That long first down run where Josh just willed his body past the marker was a thing of beauty.

3 guys who didn't contribute very much were absolutely monsters tonight. 4 more boys....

4th & 1...another B gap tush push?
