  1. the only time Allen should be running is on those few designed runs. spiking the ball at the feet of your Blocking RB is not intentional Grounding at all. It’s the move all Super Bowl Winnibg QBs who know how to fight another day have been doing for decades. Scrambling is silly and pointless in unnecessary situations. Just kill the play. Save your body. You’ll have plenty of more opportunities to win the game before the clock strikes 00:00.
  2. The point is that lots of folks get excited when Allen runs…but the majority of his runs are simply due to a complete failure in the passing game. Just surprising to me so many people cheer what is technically a utter breakdown in passing offense. extension of plays is simply a failure to execute the play design. if everyone is executing the play as it is designed … you shouldn’t be extending the play. It’s not madden after all. the QBs who win the Lombardi (on vast majority) win FROM THE POCKET. Executing the offense.
  3. Everytime Allen runs and it’s not designed…it is technically a failed passing play. To have an offense so “off schedule” and yet expect great results is very off base in the grand scheme of things.
  4. That is so subjective as to what is “smart” when it comes time to run. Being too amped, too competitive, fear that the game has to be won in the first 5 minutes. only leads to bad decisions.
  5. deciding to run and scramble and take a hit on 3rd down in the 1st quarter is about as unnecessary as it gets. the game will not be won nor lost for a punt in the 1st quarter and him risking running and picking up a first down does not justify it. The great QBs with multiple Lombardi trophies know the drill. maybe one day you will too. until then…enjoy the pointless scrambles and risk of injuries and fumbles and interceptions and early playoff exits. The Viking games and Allen’s Elbow is a complete spin job. They didn’t worry about his arm at all. They were so worried about his arm? Yet they dialed up 50 pass attempts? come on now. Let’s get real.
  6. 3rd and 6 1st Quarter Score 0-0 Allen drops back and there is immediate pressure. Don’t run. Don’t spin. Don’t hurdle. Just spike the ball at the feet of your running back who stayed in (and failed) to block. Punt. Allen starts doing that…then we can believe he is serious about starting to play this game at the level required for the long haul.
  7. Perfect time to put some money on Jags and T. Lawrence. it’s his time now and he’s the hungriest of the next wave of QBs.
  8. Allen is the better Football Player. Burrow is the better Quarterback.
  9. The AFC EAST is now as wide open as it’s been in decades.
  10. Ravens I guess are targeting WR who have to want to win first and foremost. now every NFL receiver will tell the media all they care about is winning and that their own individual production come secondary. which is a lie. Why do we know? Only Patrick Mahomes has a higher Winning Percentage of starting QBs with more than 50 games played (okay and Jimmy G). Lamar … wins. But that isn’t good enough for WRs who “just want to win”. Which they don’t.
  11. They don’t have an owner. As meddling as some can be…sometimes you need the Top Dog who cuts your check to walk into your GM office and say what is what and what is going to happen and that it needs to happen now.
  12. They bet it all on that First Window (2020-2022). It failed and they didn’t win. Since they are all still in their positions, they have to say Something and attempt to re-brand.
  13. Maybe watching for it more this season… but I just happened to notice more make up calls in the NFL this season in more games that I may have ever notice before in the past. Evers since the Raiders/Chiefs night game when Kansas got robbed on the QB Hit and refs turned around and had to fix their mistakes. I don’t know how I feel about that honestly because if a ref screws yiu in the first quarter, and it leads to the game goong in one direction, maybe the refs should give you a make up call later in the game to balance things out.
  14. There have been instances on NFL MIC’D UP / NFL FILMS … where you will hear Refs “warn” players about certain things they are doing. I have come to believe that usually the first time a ref throws a flag on a player…is not the first time in that game that that player has been toeing the line of potential penalty. I do believe that refs warn players and use judgement to keep the game moving and try to keep the focus on game altering penalties. I think refs consistency is that they do give players warnings and chances to not be playing the game in penalty before throwing the flag.
  15. Paul Brown most likely gets a lot of credit for one of the greats all time for football. And since so much of that was with the Browns…I would say the Browns are up there too for Best Franchise to not have won.
  16. Getting Help vs Accepting Help ”Struggling to Learn on How to Accept Help: The Story of 2023 Buffalo Bills”
  17. Be very surprised if Buffalo was either the Away Team for the Thursday Night Opening Game of the Season (making it Back go Back) or another Thanksgiving Game (which would make it 4 out of 5 Seasons). My predictions are: Raiders in London 10:00 a.m. Giants on Monday Night Chargers on Sunday Night Jets on Thursday Night Dolphins on Sunday Night
  18. without the ability to wear a bills hat on a trip in Disney and yell, “go bills!” Or get such utter joy and then multiple reposts for a picture of a guy wear long a bills t-shirt in the 3rd row at the Masters… who are we truly as a community? What else is there? Not sure Commander fans have such burdens that lock them ball and chain to the demands of a owner and his football team.
  19. The only 4-5 people that have to worry about Brees arm strength are Drew Brees and the Saints Representatives who would analyze it at the secret private workout. if they sign him then you know there is plenty enough there to do the job.
  20. ‘The Drought’ did enough damage to the local community psyche that the first Coach who had any sort of success would be very well insulated and protected in his job. Fans are just happy to be in the conversation and considered a serious team on a season by season basis that the end results really don’t matter to the Head Coach or the Organization. because the first thing any defender on McDermott would say if he loses is “don’t you remember how bad it used to be.” so many…are just happy to be competitive. And maybe they are right. I’m not one to say. But…if it was Dallas, New England, Miami, LA, Chicago… if those teams were not to win…after: Spending all this money Pre-Season Favorites Vegas Favorites MVP favorite it would be End of Days in those cities and a national shame.
  21. Your not totally off. 2021 - Neither of the Top 2 Betting Favorites even made the Super Bowl. 2020 - Chiefs were #1 but it was Bucs #4 who won it. 2019 - Neither of the Top 2 Betting Favorites even made the Super Bowl. So who knows. In the end it’s really just about ego and humans who feel they need to have control over every situation.
  22. Frankly, that is just an example of…if it was one of our guys … we would all love it. JA17 Spins ball in front of players (cocky) Waves bye-bye in a blow out (cocky) runs up score (arrogant) complains to refs when he throws off balance and gets pushed to turf (cry baby) Mafia is ready to build his statue in front of stadium yesterday. Lol. Patti, Lamar, Rodgers, Brady…they all do it. Bradys biggest problem…is that he didn’t lose (very often). In an era/generation where all the kids get a trophy…his throw back to throttle and pummel you over and over again…doesn’t sit well to some.
  23. He is number 1 merchandise sales… Don’t be mad at Brady because you cheered and thought Chan Gailey, Fitz, EJ, Rex…etc. were good ideas and could actually win. Tom Brady didn’t hold Buffalo back. Buffalo held Buffalo back.
  24. A good early season matchup in PrimeTime as Buffalo attempts to finally overcome the obstacle that has been the Tennessee Titans in the Regular Season. And as for Josh Allen’s Feet…a shot at redemption.
