  1. There was a thread for playoff tix when they went on sale. It’s just how things work, they don’t wait to sell ‘em until they know if the game is necessary or not.
  2. F&@% ‘em. They are now the enemy and must be vanquished. Their moronic fans can go to hell too. It’s going to be loud af in Orchard Park Sunday!
  3. Under the old rules it was not allowed. Coaches complained it was costing them opportunities to move up. A new HC needs to assemble a staff. That’s a lot harder to do the longer a candidates team remains in the playoffs. Good assistants get hired by other new HC’s. The rule was changed as coaches were being punished for their team’s success.
  4. Recency bias. That game -and certainly not the turnovers that occurred in it - has zero bearing on what will happen Sunday afternoon.
  5. If Phillips was “ somewhat healthy” a few weeks ago that will not cut it.
  6. Of course it is of great importance. These are billion dollar franchises in a bottom line business. People like to hire someone they know they can work with, that has a certain personality and that they are familiar with personally. The wrong hire could cost a Dan Morgan or whomever their job.
  7. One ticket holders cancellation is another’s opportunity. The tickets will sell, just some will be to a new customer.
  8. It may vary based on the forecast that day ( too early to tell) but the precip chance is increasing as the game goes on. That could mean take the ball instead of their usual defer.
  9. Agree. If Josh has 50+ rushing yards the Bills get the W. There will be some Allen runs called on Sunday.
  10. Funny how that is.. the least confident I remember being was before the Bills first home AFC title game vs the Raiders in 1990 season ( Jan ‘91). I had a pit in my stomach and could barely sleep the night before. I remembered the regular season matchup when the Bills rallied from 24-14 deficit in the 4th quarter. I thought the Raiders might just be too good to beat twice . It was unbelievable and amazing the Bills could win 51-3. We just don’t know!
  11. If the secondary has to cover for 5+ seconds the Bills have no chance. Fortunately they don’t.. that’s an absurd amount of time in an NFL game I’d be around 80% with Von but still around 70% as is. I agree the Bills will find a way, probably due to Josh Allen.
  12. I specifically remember in preseason coaches wanting him to play to his size. Just didn’t happen for him here though he had improved.
  13. We knew this. Bills can’t rely on pass rush to win the game. McD and Co will be burning the midnight oil devising a scheme to win…
  14. Neutral site so Bills on one end zone. Chiefs would have uniform choice
  15. The G Men have been a clown show the last 4 or 5 years. Daboll has them playing a tough brand of football and notched a road playoff win in year one. Book it, this one’s a slam dunk.
  16. Pass protection looks considerably worse this year. That’s lead to some strip sacks. Some of the INTs have been bad luck, not quite like the bad decision funk he was in mid season. He can protect it better, but it’s never been great in his best years. His style means living with a few more turnovers.
  17. I believe Bills will win the game; I’d say around 70% on the confidence meter right now.
  18. That long awaited Bills vs 49ers Super Bowl matchup could be on the horizon
  19. Nonsense. He’s regressed! Nick Whatevrthefu@! said so!
  20. Not until tomorrow but I wouldn’t expect anything. He looked like he was playing with one arm a couple weeks ago.
  21. Maybe not, because you’re not getting some of the good stuff then. All that considered , if Allen loses a fumble in this game I don’t think the Bills win. No turnovers in minus territory and they win by 6. Clean turnover game plus a takeaway and I like the Bills by 10.
  22. Wow they love the blue on blues ! I think the NFC is “ home team “ for Super Bowl this year fwiw
  23. Just heard a stat re Bengals Football Outsiders defensive DVOA - At home 2nd in NFL, on the road 27th. That’s interesting
