  1. Got tired of battling the refs and uncalled cheap shots. Bound to happen when a game is called this poorly
  2. I agree completely. The officiating crew was obscenely bad
  3. Seems a long shot but to say Johnson was a liability is being generous. Perhaps they should have
  4. No quit in the Niners…. Really tough break for them today
  5. Super Bowl got a whole lot less interesting today.
  6. Probably , but you know Mahomes will get the calls. NFL clearly wants to prop up Hurts though so not sure
  7. Still need SOME offense. Not happening with Josh Johnson
  8. Valiant effort by a superior unit, but Josh Johnson at QB is a sure loss eventually.
  9. Announcers are complete trash. Hurts has pretty much sucked.
  10. Garbage call on the punt. I’d push Hurts too they’re gonna flag you anyway
  11. Niners the better team , injuries and bad calls too much to overcome. Hurts is trash as expected.
  12. Niners clearly the better team. Injuries, bad calls , no calls too much to overcome. Hurts is garbage as I knew he would be.
  13. Should have been the Bills move . Too late
  14. Of course they do. Those who make the fewest win championships. They have to hit on a QB ( check) a few mid rounders that outperform, and the high picks have to feature a few all pro level performers. Beane is out of Mulligans with the high picks.
  15. Would much prefer the Niners add to the trophy case than for the Bengals to get “ off the schneid” in Super Bowls . Mahomes losing another AFC title game at home would be a satisfying outcome though.
  16. Right. However the question was who have “ the Bills” drafted… not Brandon Beane.
  17. This is my dream scenario for the NFC game. Hate Hurts and have since college ; never could stand him and I don’t root for the Eagles ever. ( two exceptions were the SB’s vs Patriots) I like watching the Niners and respect how they built their team. Purdy has been excellent and is a player you can root for with his backstory.
  18. My expectations are for the Bills to improve the OL and WR position. I’d also expect them to solidify the S on defense and add a CB. I’d like them to make a major change to the D coaching staff , but I don’t expect it. I expect the Bills to win the AFC East and reach the AFC Championship game. Anything less would be a failure - as the 2022 season ultimately was- and a wholesale change to the coaching staff would be warranted. Just one AFC Championship appearance since Josh Allen emerged as an elite QB in 2020 is unacceptable.
  19. Agree. Interesting how Eagles fans talk them up, yet also bragged about what an easy schedule they had this season and they’d probably go undefeated. They’re good, but not some special team. The franchise has lost home Championship games before and I wouldn’t be surprised if the 49ers get the win.
  20. That would be the best of all worlds.
  21. It’s a fair point. While the offense struggled the second half of 2021, the team caught fire in the playoffs. That may have been their best look to date at a Super Bowl. Often winning a title requires a some luck and a bit of lightning in a bottle. Even with a top QB and a good roster - and a franchise record tying W/L record you simply can’t pencil in great chances at a championship. It just doesn’t work that way, although the Brady led Patriots made it look routine and threw expectations out of whack.
  22. Changing out large numbers of players is difficult, so coaching changes need to be made. It’s very possible the current defensive scheme has taken the team as far as it can go. A suggestion for Vic Fangio was made and that’s a very good idea. Offensively more talent is needed on OL and at WR. Those changes could yield the desired results.
  23. If Beane said that, it’s pretty much an indictment of the coaching staff and their ability to game plan.
