  1. Going out on a limb there on possible regression , eh ? The team has won 13 games exactly twice in franchise history. That they likely won’t equal it in 2023 isn’t a revelation. I attended the game as well, and feel exactly the same way. There was nothing about the teams performance that felt like a playoff game in any way. A huge no show on the part of the Bills and the coaching staff.
  2. The Bills were far from the AFC’s Minnesota. The Vikings were the only playoff team with a negative point differential. The Bills point differential was near the top of the league. The Vikings had a ridiculous record in close games - something like 10-0. That’s an unsustainable run of good fortune. The bills didn’t escape by a thread in many games. They had a few flaws ( some due to injury) that teams either weren’t good enough to take advantage of or Josh Allen’s abilities covered up. That’s tougher to do in the playoffs as the teams/ coaching staffs you face get better.
  3. Below average player; complete dill weed. Not nearly cool enough to smoke a cigar.
  4. Agree. The Bills are at a crossroads of sorts here. They can ascend or decline depending on the decisions made in upcoming weeks.
  5. The secondary is a shell of its former self - mostly due to injury. The LBs were never very good -Milano aside. The DL failed to perform. Tackling has been an issue for awhile. Edmunds failed to shed blocks and was stiff/ mechanical as usual. The Bengals didn’t look super talented to me - that sounds like an excuse from McD. They targeted our weakest spots and executed basic plays. The Bills D is suspect at the fundamentals of blocking and tackling. In less than ideal weather conditions and with a beat up OL, the Bengals coaches smartly went to the basics. They outclassed the Bills players in that dept for sure.
  6. Quick passes to the flat , which the Bills didn’t cover seemingly all day.
  7. IF it were for Payton then yes, time to move on. Anyone else currently available, probably not. Need an offensive guru and better OL/ WR for sure. Dorsey’s offense lacked direction and creativity, just Josh winging it too often.
  8. D fundamentals are bad. OL is weak.
  9. Overrated. The Bills were outsmarted and outschemed. The Bengals had a simple to execute scheme and they did it. The Bills D fundamentals of shedding blocks and tackling were bad. Offensively it’s been established that the Bills scheme doesn’t work well in bad weather. They didn’t do much different to adapt to the conditions and suffered the consequences. That game was as much Xs and Os as it was Jimmy’s and Joes. The Bills OL has been terrible all year and they do need upgrades there.
  10. The OL is terrible at “ selling” screens. Josh Allen can certainly throw a screen pass. They always look disjointed from the start- and that starts upfront.
  11. His defense looked like they had no answers to the Bengals offense “ small ball” approach yesterday. Quick throws short of the sticks and run the ball. Nothing fancy, and the Bills fundamentals were awful.
  12. Yeah, like around 7 Super Bowl Championships to go. The hyperbole around this place is comical.
  13. You’ve confused me with someone else ; I said nothing about Allen putting up 55. Allen is asked to do quite a bit more than most QBs to cover up huge deficiencies on Offense. He had a couple more INTs than the others, mostly while fighting through a mid season elbow injury. He runs a lot more , so maybe a few more fumbles. It’s what you get with Allen but not a huge deal. Exactly. Burrow wasn’t asked to do too much - smart coaching- and executed it well. Mostly quick throws to the flat with a few longer throws mixed in.
  14. It’s already unbearable ..f#!@ both of them.
  15. Neither, as I hate them both. Hope they beat each other up. Glad Cowboys are out as I despise that franchise too. Never liked the Eagles and only rooted for them in 2 Super Bowls vs New England. So it’s the 49ers for me , a team I’ve always had respect for.
  16. Neither. He’ll be …..Josh Allen.
  17. No, Allen’s not twice as good as Joe Burrow. I like what he can do better than Burrow, but others opinions will vary. It’s pretty close between Allen, Mahomes and Burrow although I’d put Burrow third in that group. Anyone who thinks one of those three is far ahead of the others is simply a fanboy.
  18. Yep. Give Allen the Chiefs OL and Andy Reid. Obviously the Bills won’t be able to acquire the services of Reid, but a close copy should be their game plan. Status quo will waste Josh Allen’s prodigious talent.
  19. This ^^^ Bills didn’t cover throw to the flat all afternoon. Bengals ran a copy of the Wilson QB’d Jets game plan and the Bills defense still had no idea how to stop it. Tackling was atrocious and no one could shed blocks. Just an absolute embarrassment vs scrub OL.
  20. Yeah, a lot of Bills fans skipped the game. They didn’t miss much.
  21. I’d settle for having a good game plan and executing it. I don’t think cockiness had much to do with it. One team showed up and the other didn’t.
  22. It definitely is his job , and he failed in that department. Teams adjusted their defensive strategy and he never found answers. Diggs frustration is understandable. The Bills missed Daboll, if not in pure stats then in creativity. The Bills could use an offensive genius for sure.
  23. Sure would be nice to have those things. We have Josh and Diggs. The OL play has been really bad.
  24. Yep, you have to win in the trenches. The Bills OL hasn’t done that most of the season ; Allen covered it up a lot. Tougher to do that in the playoffs though, and the Bills offense probably peaked too soon.
