Lions vs Bills: Who wins the SB first?
Boatdrinks replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
If we’re talking about the next decade or so , I’d say the Lions. They play in the NFC, and the first requirement to winning a Super Bowl is playing in it. That’s going to be easier to do in the NFC. Realistically , I’d guess neither one will. -
Do the Bills need a " Quarterback Whisperer?"
Boatdrinks replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall
He probably trusts him. But it’s possible that A . they’re a bit too chummy . At least more than he was with Daboll B . Dorsey simply isn’t as good an OC and play designer. -

Maybe, and I hope he does. If the team falls short in the playoffs with a non Superman like performance the questions will get louder and more frequent. -

This is a bigger factor than many think. They miss Daboll , and I think he helped to coax the best out of Josh while keeping his demons at bay. -

Well, that’s how the NFL works. He wouldn’t be the first that couldn’t handle it. I’m not saying that’s his problem, but if he doesn’t right the ship he’ll be gone sooner than later. -

He’s had similar games, esp vs that defense. He was not on point , I just think the stage being too big was his problem. -

I’d agree. Some of this is up to the coaches. It’s what they’re here to do. -

Bigger than he was ? I mean he played poorly but it wasn’t exactly a SuperBowl or AFCCG . -

He responded pretty well to the bad press a few years ago. He’s not playing well, but I wouldn’t bury him just yet. Especially due to some negative media types. -

Offense looked alot like the Bengals game. Very concerning
Boatdrinks replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
They’ve got superior personnel to most teams defenses. Didn’t look much different than last years contests vs Jets. Easier said than done. -

And he didn’t have to do anything with it but fall down. Maintaining possession was more important than a silly rushing attempt into those defenders. Just a stupid play -
I’ve driven in other countries , and drivers were much more courteous. Often these things don’t work here due to rudeness and entitlement. For example , you let one car in from the merge of land and try to move on .. 2 or 3 more cars try to wedge in instead of waiting their “ turn “. You’ve got it all wrong imo .. you blame the individual with the right of way etc rather than the actual offender. A common mentality in this area unfortunately. The A-*** is the one to be defended rather than the courteous driver.

Where is the data to suggest that things will change?
Boatdrinks replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
There aren’t any. Just have to see if they get it figured out, starting with Josh -
There’s usually plenty of room to change lanes ahead of time. Each time is different of course but cars literally stopping to merge in from a standstill is insane. Many often don’t follow the reduced speed limits in these zones either , adding to the chaos. All stems from a sense of entitlement , trying to “ beat the crowd “ when simple following of instructions in a timely manner would produce a better result. The signs etc are usually ignored.
-
I strongly disagree. Yes “ zippering “ is efficient if done correctly - namely approaching a highway from an on ramp at a lower speed ( these usu have posted speed limits of 35 mph or so which are routinely ignored) and fitting in to a space behind the oncoming vehicle - that’s why extra space is provided to perform this maneuver) not barreling up the ramp at 60 + mph then cutting off the oncoming vehicle . As for a lane reduction , the same applies - one is supposed to heed the sign warning of the oncoming lane reduction a mile or two up the road and get over into the other lane. WNY drivers ride the closing lane out until the last possible second then try to get over causing traffic jams . Plenty of space to switch lanes is provided - albeit at a slightly reduced rate of acceleration. Much of our society is simply too self absorbed in their entitlement bubble to afford this simple instruction intended to make the driving experience easier for everyone. Following instructions has become an option for “ everyone else” to adhere to , unfortunately.

I don’t see Cook as a feature back and never have. Just doesn’t seem to have “ it” factor.

Hmmm, I doubt it. The QB is either pressured or he’s not. Taking off doesn’t mean he’s pressured, so I doubt it’s counted if the QB just decides to run. That could be coverage etc , not pressure. -
We will never win anything with McD here
