  1. I’m straight , so I don’t bend over. You’ll have to look elsewhere.
  2. It is so early that we don’t know. It’s even possible the virus could go dormant and reactivate. There are lots of unknowns here.
  3. No.if Biden did it ,he absolutely should be investigated. If Trump “ did it” it’s probably just a media-assisted money grab by a once willing participant and should be looked at with scepticism.
  4. Sleepy Joe is creepy Joe, kinda like a weirdo uncle- closet sex offender. The other actually knows a thing or two about how to get with a pornstar. Completely different ends of the spectrum.
  5. Regional differences must be taken into account, though. WNY just isn’t NYC for a lot of reasons. That’s a special case and needs special restrictions for a longer period of time.
  6. There is tons of duplication and overlap in government, so perhaps that was a reason ? Anyway, I don’t think having another 50 Obamaczars on some committee was going to make any difference. No one was locking down the USA any earlier. Going forward, though it is imperative that Trump serves another term with the rough economic road ahead. If entrusted to a sleepy Joe or some other lefty, America could soon be unrecognizable ; a veritable economic wasteland.
  7. Why do you care that he cares ? See, you could do this all day. It’s really simple; if you want to wear a dress, go ahead. You want to play make believe , fine. When you demand everyone else plays along with you, then lots of people will have a problem with that.
  8. Well, it’s not different than any of those. Unless, you happen to be a liberal democrat. Then everything is about “ feelz”. Reality is what you imagine it to be.
  9. It may not be true. If it’s not though, we’re not effed by any means. Estimates are that anywhere from 25 to 40% of people with Coronavirus are asymptomatic. The vast majority ( probably in the high 90% range) of people will recover. It’s not going to wipe out a huge swath of the population. There will eventually be a vaccine, but there will likely be effective treatments long before that.
  10. The beginning of May seems about right. There will still be those who are fearful, and that’s fine. They can remain hunkered down as long as they like. Others can choose to get back to life and take reasonable precautions. That’s freedom, and it’s what matters most.
  11. Not surprising. The NFL isn’t going to surrender billions of dollars if there is a way to have a season. They’ll find it or create it. Could use the same say, dozen stadiums every week in localities that allow it ( mostly States with Republican Governors , I’d guess) and rotate the teams through including MNF and TNF games. If any league can make it happen, it will be the NFL.
  12. The New York Times; the print version of CNN.
  13. I could see NYC having major restrictions for quite awhile. Most other areas should all be on a similar timeline as you suggest.
  14. June , July ? Goodness , I hope he is talking about NYC and not all of NYS. NY could be looking at total devastation at the hands of Cuomo.
  15. Even worse, she probably would have actually believed banning travel from China was racist. Just another reason why whackjob Dems cannot be trusted with power.
  16. Hasn’t at least one celeb succumbed to Coronavirus ? I don’t recall the name, but pretty sure they have.
  17. And in many ways, the country will be in a worse place then. Far worse.
  18. I agree on the Constitutional aspect. I was just paraphrasing what he said in his briefing, he mentioned he would have overridden the lack of a lockdown if he felt one was needed. Still, the larger point of my post was a lack of faith in Cuomo.
  19. It ultimately will be up to Governors , at least that’s what President Trump alluded to. That is concerning though, considering Andrew Cuomo will be calling the shots. NYC is clearly a special situation and should probably continue with major restrictions for awhile. For example, most of the NYC area uses public transportation. That’s a great way to spread the virus. WNY is more similar to parts of PA or Ohio , and hopefully Cuomo acknowledges this difference. It would be horrendously bad policy for all of NYS to continue with NYC type restrictions. I, for one leave the house to go to work each day. There are many others here that do so as well. I’m sure many do not under the current circumstance, but that doesn’t mean they don’t see the dire need to reopen the economy. I’m not sure , although Trump mentioned he would have stepped in if the situation were reversed. Does that mean he will if AC decides NYS as a whole needs to remain closed because that’s the only “ fair” thing to do ? I concur with your lack of confidence in Cuomo.
  20. It’s about time. While he may be unemployed , he’s been around and likely won’t be homeless or signing up for gubmint benefit card anytime soon.
  21. Locking down NYC, and only NYC is one thing I can get on board with.
