I’d like to believe that, but all the evidence tells me that most people in this area aren’t smart. They vote for dogma over themselves. Freedom is too scary to them. They prefer that they ( and everyone else) be TOLD what they must do.

They’d argue all of ‘em are “ mentally ill”. That’s what the attorneys do.

They probably should , and it’s likely just my season opening jitters getting the best of me. For whatever reason, I’m just not getting that beatdown, commanding victory type feeling for this game that a lot of fans are.

This one is looking like a squeaker to me , with the Steelers offense surprisingly effective vs the soft middle of the Bills D. Fans fasten your seatbelts, as the Bills escape with a 4 point win.

True lol ,but I don’t think they’d be violent against each other, they’d just riot and damage businesses , government buildings, etc. Sure people can and will write in Brown, but she’s banking on the low info voter just checking a box next to a name. Much easier

I knew I liked Peter King’s takes. -
Maybe. Let’s see if he brings a Lombardi home to the Buff.

Question for Those Who Voted for Biden in Primary
Boatdrinks replied to Irv's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I fuggin love Donald Trump. Best US President in 3 decades. -
Lol.... not radical enough, so a riot is required course of action. As for Walton, if she’s so sure that her “grass roots” campaign / ideas are the will of the people, why is she concerned about anyone else being on the ballot ?

Jim Kelly Was Better Than Brady Imo..
Boatdrinks replied to Billsfanatic8989's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because of differences in eras ( rules etc) we can only go by the “ eye test” . Kelly was a great QB for sure, but not at the level of Montana, Brady, Manning et al. A couple better performances in SB’s would vault him into that discussion though. History has him a couple notches below those players. -
Per Nick Wright: Bills will be a fringe contender.

It's Time to Mandate Vaccines

Wow, even some people in the media decide not to get the jab! At supremely woke ESPN nonetheless. -
Luck of the draw ,genetically and otherwise. My issue is the rule(s), not that a virus exists or how Bills players made medical decisions. You’re correct about the NFL rules. They give an unfair advantage to one group. I’m sure there’s room on the Tampa Champs bandwagon in time for the season. Choices .....

Changing up how I watch the Bills game
Boatdrinks replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’ve been there and can relate. Yeah, it’s time to kick back a little and enjoy the game with some friends. The tension is relieved with knowing your team has a very good QB. -
Sure, you could break it down to Mahomes ( or any top teams starting QB) and you’d not be wrong. A major injury to Mahomes would definitely change the dynamic. I’d still say the Chiefs as a team/ coach though(assuming a healthy Mahomes) until the Bills beat them. The Bills were out coached and overmatched in some areas. We will see if they manage to beat ‘em soon enough. The Athletic should say “NFL protocols“ and they’d be much closer to the truth than claiming a virus is the #1 reason the Bills won’t be champions.

Convicted felon Donald Trump's follies
Boatdrinks replied to BillStime's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I fuggin love Donald Trump. Best US President since Reagan. -
Yawn, awful take but not surprising. The Bills biggest obstacle is the Chiefs, period end of story. Every team has to deal with the silly NFL protocols and those are the issue. I respect the Bills players and their personal medical decisions. Nothing could be more personal, and that comes before anything you do on a football field or other place of employment.

Abortion Basically Illegal In Texas Now
Boatdrinks replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Right. Just as having to show ID makes it basically too difficult to vote, etc.
