  1. They’ve also played one more game so....
  2. I view it differently. Extra rest probably the most important but this year the #1 seed appears less important to me. Each team in the AFC mix has shown themselves quite capable of losing their first playoff game and losing to just about any team. No one has established themselves as dominant and almost a sure thing if they get the 1. Any division winner will have a great chance at the title game.
  3. Yep CNN and others continue to report that the murderer/ terrorist was a SUV or car. Reading this you’d think the vehicle drove itself or just an unfortunate accident.
  4. Imagine that! I thought Covid cases/ deaths were assigned to governors? Apparently that only applies to Fepublicans. If the governor is a liberal, then it’s the constituents and their bad behavior that is at fault.
  5. As of yet.... give it a day or two. If you haven’t seen / heard the constant Pat* ball washing you haven’t been paying attention.
  6. For the Bills D this game will be about sure tackling and swarming to the football. Their passing game is all YAC.
  7. I think they were and I agree That’s was a ridiculous rush by Garrett. But It was the Browns D that seemed disinterested to me, with defenders making half hearted arm tackles or just watching patriots run by altogether .
  8. Browns looked so disinterested vs NE I have a hard time picking them. Something wrong with that team so Ravens by 14
  9. Strange for sure, but they don’t award the playoff seeds in November. Just media chatter like saying “ if the playoffs started today..” . But they don’t!
  10. BBFS post of the year award right here.... or just another troll?
  11. True. Even if New England were to finish at 10-7 or 9-8 their season should be considered a success in year 2.
  12. A “ voice of reason” .... I.e one who agrees with newcam.
  13. But he did fumble. Several of the Pats* wins could also have been losses if not for a bad call or a play here or there. It’s just what happens in football games.
  14. It’s a key game for positioning in the division race but that’s about it. The Pats have lost at home several times already this season, so trading home losses wouldn’t actually be that crazy. Not predicting is but it’s not st all unlikely. This kind of thing happens often between division rivals. One meeting wouldn’t have an impact on the next. Playoffs are often about peaking at the right time and overall team health.
  15. New Orleans is a great city to go see a road Bills game and party. That’s what it’s about. Now Jacksonville , that place was a dump, the stadium is awful and the fans were generally vile lowlifes.
  16. True. Only thing worse than waiting all day for Sunday night is waiting all weekend for Monday evening to roll around.
  17. Even unvaccinated younger, healthier people are more likely to be asymptomatic than to have severe symptoms. That’s often lost in all the hype. There’s a good chance both these Bills players are just fine, and simply had to follow the protocols which involved missing games.
  18. Exactly ! We’re in the midst of a tightly contested AFC race and a surprisingly close division battle. Subjects such as the draft by Thanksgiving were the norm on this board for way too long! So much BBFS creep on here lately. We have a very good team now and these are exciting times to be a fan. Fans expect futility or a cakewalk, but tough close contests are really what’s most common in the NFL. Some fans are ready to pack it in at the first sign of adversity. That’s not what a long football season is about.
  19. Agreed. They’ve got more than a shot at the division title imo.. a little tough for the top overall seed but still not impossible. They definitely need a split with the Patriots. If they get that done they should win the East for the second straight year.
  20. It’s always a teams weaknesses that get them beat in the playoffs. The Bills Oline is hobbled right now , but they will be getting key players back there plus Star on the DL. Only one of those games you mentioned wasn’t close and one was a single play away from a likely win. There are no perfect teams in the NFL and any team can lose their first playoff game. This season is a great example of that. The Bills will go as far as Josh Allen can rage them. He obviously doesn’t need perfect Oline play to put up points. Colts are probably the worst matchup for the Bills but they may not play again this season .
  21. Did they look great against that putrid Falcons team? I didn’t think so at all. Eyes of the beholder I guess. Or until they’re not. I’ll agree this one is a must win because of division implication and it’s the next game. Still don’t know what will happen over the next 6 weeks so we can’t really say they are ALL must win.
  22. So you think there IS a dominant team? Which team is that ? Explain.
  23. Doesn’t Vegas always guess? seems about right . My guess is White worth about 1 to 1.5 Points in that line if he were playing .
  24. Yep , they did. interestingly Jimmy Johnson said Bills by 10.
  25. Exactly. Week to week league, especially this season. There are no perfect teams. Just a matter of being better that day. Any division leader in the NFL right now is capable of losing in the first round of the playoffs.
