Josh outguns poor Tua Like Jim crushed Dan in the day, Miami’s same fate!

This is all so simple. If McD fires Smiley, then Smiley is a scapegoat. If McD doesn’t fire Smiley, there is no accountability.

This is what drove me nuts. The emphasis on enforcing this rule was largely driven by how egregiously Taylor violated the rule in the past. There he was doing it yet again and getting away with it yet again while the opposing team’s tackle was hammered for the same. It’s the inequity that drove me mad! Taylor also leaves early. A lot of tackles do jump the snap by a fraction of a second and, though I saw it called several times throughout the weekend, it was enforced very inconsistently. I didn’t notice any inequity in those calls, however.

He seemed to always be taking care of his teammates. Did anyone else see this? There were several shots of him fixing helmets and another of him getting Josh a water bottle.

NFL 2024 Kickoff: Ravens @ Chiefs, Sept 5 - 8:20pm

The lopsided illegal procedures is mind boggling. KC’s RT is both too far back EVERY play, but is also committing a false start almost every play as well. -

What is Your Preseason Ranking for the Bills?
schoolhouserock replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think 4.5 is a great betting line. I find it tough to argue against KC, Cincy, and San Fran being ranked ahead of the Bills. There’s a real case for #4 for the Bills. I went with 5-8. The Texans, unfortunately, may be a consistent competitor, especially while Stroud is on his rookie deal. There are a number of teams that appear to be on equal footing with the Bills. As a homer, I give the Bills the edge over such teams. So I’ve got them as #5. -
I am actually pretty much OK with wherever they want to have the Super Bowl. Would attending a Super Bowl even be fun? It is insanely expensive and comprised of a very corporate crowd that either doesn’t follow the sport or are mildly interested at best. I know a few folks that have gotten to go to various recent super bowls and they all say it’s the most boring football game they have attended. The passion is torn away from that particular game. So, in my mind, have it wherever. I will happily watch with invested fans at a house party or a bar.

Josh thinks he can come off the bench in the NBA

The talent in the NBA right now is fantastic. The officiating is unbearable. It has killed my fandom. -
Keon is a great interview. Can’t wait to see him in action.

Beane: "This team is in transition"

And if Dion Dawkins places his foot a smidge to the left, Allen to Shakir is the go ahead score with less than 2 minutes to play. -

Do You Like What Beane Did in the First Round?

The trade with KC was a good one. The Bills should have taken Legette at 32. The trade with Carolina is the one I don’t like. -
I have a problem with Cooper Dejean type players
schoolhouserock replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall
One need only look at a former Hawkeye and great Buffalo Bill to see how this can work: Micah Hyde. Hyde was a zone corner before successfully moving over to Safety. DeJean has better tools than Hyde had and therefore warrants a higher selection. No idea where you are getting “tight hips” or “burned by lower level players”. As someone who has watched every game Coop has played, this is demonstrably false. Dejean is also a fantastic punt returner. Tough, smart, and super athletic. He has a real chance to be every bit as good as Hyde. -
Wait. Are we counting passes to the other team or no?

Coming away with both Thomas Jr and Baker would be a fantastic result for the Bills.
