  1. Well I have a pic with me and Bruce Jenner before he had a *****. Beat that.
  2. Think of all the scratch off tickets.
  3. me too. a little from column a, a little from column b kind of a thing.
  4. at least he made the attempt the second time!
  5. there is nothing more angering than that. just follow up on the mistake! i had someone park so close to me once, that i couldn't squeeze my body between the two cars to get in. i had to go through the passenger's side and climb over. are people that oblivious or do they not just care?
  6. i always put the carts back. at pet smart i'll walk it back into the store. you touched/used the cart, put the thing back. if you're too lazy to put it back, don't take it in the first place. at wegmans recently, i was in line with a guy that was around my age. looked to be in good shape. we walked out together, and this guy parked his escalade in handicap. the guy had no problems getting around, hoisting the bags in, etc. once he was done what does he do? leaves the cart in the handicap space next to him, and drives away. people like that deserve to get kicked in the face.
  7. i wouldn't let anyone kidnap you rochesterrob!
  8. you'd definitely be bothered if it was new money. i'd have no problem telling people to go ***** themselves though. i mean...if i knew someone that came into a large amount of money, i would never think that i was entitled to some. i do think it's too bad you can't keep it private here though.
  9. why would you have to continually move around? would you be that concerned about safety?
  10. i don't think you're out of line. we all have opinions of this. let me ask...why do you think this is still being made a big deal. the white house hasn't had a press conference in two months, yet last week pence decides to hold a conference and they bring fauci back to address this. do you think this administration would have done that if there's not a serious problem going on now? there's been no direction on the federal level, and now they're suddenly concerned? also, how do you think this should be handled? should we just ignore it and go on with life as usual?
  11. good luck with your scans. i don't know man. like i said, i live and work with medical professionals. maybes there's a stark difference between how wny handles it and how the finger lakes region handles it. no one is "scared" of it, but everyone is very aware to still be cautious.
  12. think about it...you go to a place that tests for covid, and they're not even wearing masks. i assume it's an urgent care(i'm guessing same as an immediate care), which are questionable to begin with. that being said, they should be reported. you really want to find these medical professionals? go to any hospital. i have no idea who you've been talking to, but i was an attending at a local hospital and still have many contacts there. i had dinner with a friend two weeks ago that's the head of his oral surgery unit...he's concerned. again, don't believe me if you want to, but these outbreaks are going to effect your life whether you want it to or not. ignore or minimize this any way you like, but it's an issue. just today i learned that one of my employees' husband had to be tested because of a sudden fever. if he has it, she gets tested. if she has it, we all get tested. if any of us have it, we have a new issue on our hands. are we worried about dying? no, but i am concerned about the safety of my family, staff, and the people that walk into my office. think about it. a site testing for covid, and people aren't wearing ppe properly? i would run in the other direction.
  13. going to a place where none of the nurses had masks on their faces should let you know the quality of the center you're at. i even have a hard time believing that. my next door neighbor is the chief of his department at a large local hospital. he finds this very concerning. our friends who are bothe phds at strong hospital think this is very serious. you can keep repeating stories on how you run into medical professionals that don't think much of it, but i work and live with these people, and they seem to think the exact opposite of what you're hearing. not saying you have to listen to my experiences, but the respected people i know don't feel that way...at all.
  14. fwiw...the AAA season being canceled is mostly financial. they don't have the tv revenue, so with no fans, it apparently just wasn't feasible.
  15. happy birfday!
  16. this thread is sending me into a rage.
  17. Oh my. Some people have a harder time with the internet than others.
  18. this is where i'm at with it. it makes the pats better, (even if it's just a little bit) and that's not a good thing. that being said, if the bills can't beat the pats with cam, that's on the bills. they've had their time to develop into who they've wanted to be under mcd and beane. time to make it work.
  19. i've had this a number of times too! it's a bit sweet for me, but i get the appeal. my wife actually asked me what to make in the crock pot, so we're looking for ideas. she makes a mexican chicken dish over rice which is solid, and a beef stew. i like them both, but god we need to change it up.
